Great rendition of a great song. The drums and saxo solos are unbelievable, how to make a good song great. Probably one of (if not the) the best versions of this song out there.
Jeff Lober is one of the best keyboard player's in jazz. First time I saw him was back in the early 80's and I been a fan ever since. I have all his music.

Nathaniel Phillips on Electric Bass from the Jazz Funk Group called Pleasure, from Portland Organ. Alto Saxophonist Eric Marienthal. Drummer extraordinaire Sonny Emory. The great Jeff lorber on keyboard instruments.
I was house FOH engineer at the University of Maine Hauck Auditorium in the 1970s- multiple Jeff Lorber Fusion concerts over the years. Nicest bunch you'd ever want to meet. They were just as tight then as they are now. It was a gas!
I have been listening to Jeff Lorber since 1980 when he was with the Jeff Lorber Fusion when Kenny Gorelick was him in St. Petersburg, Florida at the Tierre Verde Island Resort Hotel. Fantastic show. He jamms the piano like no OTHER!!!! All the best from Jeff Out West.

@@gnikjpen Hating? :) Sorry, but if Mark Moon don't hear the sound like a Rhodes "not at all" as he wrote, I just wanted to give my opinion what kind of Rhodes sound I think Yamaha is trying to emulate there (Dyno My Piano?). Sorry if that sounded mean or anything but I love that sound.
This is soo deep in the pocket it's ridiculous. If you want Fusion or Jazz this is as good as it gets!! Even if you don't like Fusion you have to be tone deaf not to understand the talent here!
