Is it possible to output from the XLR and 1/4 inch stereo outputs at the same time to send out two copies of the stereo mix? For example, one to the audio interface, and the other to speakers.
Nice.Though I Still have a question.Would you mind showing how to connect the mixer to speakers if you have more than 2 speakers? For example, how do I run the mixer to 2 subs and 6 mid-range speakers?Thank you in advance
Good day, I use a Professional Sound card and a Yamaha MG10X, I have tried to connect it for streaming on facebook and recording, but I have not been able to get the sound from the Mixer into the live stream and recording. I have tried using Vmix and Studio. I will really appreciate it if you can guide me through the connection. Thank you
I noticed the xlr connections to my speakers have different volume levels even when I set the speakers at the same volume. Have you had issues with one of the xlr outputs being less powerful than the other?
hey kindly help my interface has a problem but i have a yamaha mg166cx mixer i believe i can use it to record music in the studio but how do i record audios with it ? i have a condenser microphone and headphones and studio monitors.whats the best connections i can do and the right settings? your help will be highly appreciated and keep on doing your videos they are really helpful
What if your PA system has only RCA input and you have to place it far . Can I run XLR from the mlxer to about 3 feet to the speaker then use an adaptor to convert XLR to RCA the rest of the way , which is about 3 ft? Is there a better way to make that work ?
For some odd reason , I’m getting no audio coming into my mixer , but my pc detects the mixer and even got levels coming into my pc , but no audio output ? I got the same trs balance connections
Sorry which way is better 1 - Yamaha MG10XU monitor out balanced 6.3 jack to XLR RCF AYRA PRO6 monitors or ? 2 - Yamaha MG10XU Stereo out XLR to XLR RCF ART 715 and after from ART 715 to AYRA PRO6 using XLR to XLR ? Kettner Creative Chanel please help me whit this 🙏
It’ll work, but guitar amps are built for guitar frequencies. They have quite narrow ranges and won’t sound good by comparison to proper speakers. There is also a risk of damaging the amp with base frequencies.
@@jamesfilms_ Good to know and thank you for the reply. I'm using them in a bedroom so the volume is quite low, just trying to utilize what I have instead of buying more gear.
@@cristiandiaz6333 1) You have perfect compatibility for specs/wattage. Gone are the days of blown speakers or mismatched amps. 2) The shorter the distance is between the amp and speaker, the better the quality. 3) The whole package is covered by the same warranty. 4) No more loose connections between amp/speaker. 5) Smaller footprint/less outboard gear 6) Burnin/run time is identical for the speaker/amp
@@kettnercreative Hello Kettner, i try using both channel 5 is 2 monojack for my DJ controller and 6 RCA for my mobile. if i try using same time it not working maybe next time can make a video also i really appreciate Thank you🌻
Confusing video - the main outputs are for driving a stand alone amp - from there you go to your unpowered speakers - the monitor drive is to drive your powered speakers. keep it simple.
Nice video.
What if I was to go live using a smartphone, how do I connect it to the mixer
What is this? Casual Friday? Where's the KC jacket? 😂
Right? I figured 3 logos in the video was probably too much now that we have the boom arm. We'll see, the jacket might make a comeback.
And the buzz cut? Lol

Yes, you can do that.
Can you guys set up a Tspring? The logo looks great.
We had one but never had a single sale in 2 years/9 million views so we took it down.
Nice video bro,, could you upload how to connect audio interface Steinberg UR12 + Yamaha Mgxu12 with yamaha monitor
Why connect the Steinberg? Seems un-necessary with the MG10XU

Is there any way to convert my TR speaker cables into TRS or XLR cables so I don’t have to rewire my whole setup?
Instead of connecting 'powered speakers' could I use two guitar amplifiers (Clean/Line) with the MG10XU?

Hi. How do i connect my mg12xu mixer to my audient id44 mk 2 for studio recording?
Do audio mixer work and sound better with powered speakers?
Powered speakers are better than passive speakers for a lot of reasons.

There isn’t a tape out on the current gen of this mixer. Only the MG102C had that.
