When T90 asks "what do you get from Imp" I think a lot of lower ELO players (including myself!) often focus on getting to Imp as a sort of end goal ... get to Imp first and then win. I think most people feel that Imp is the "most fun" to win in. Hence why it's popular with lowelo - and I don't disagree. Nothing like having a full rank of great looking units (props to the artists of both the original sprites and the new 3d-->2d sprites) and winning in style.

What surprises me most consistently about LEL is just the lack of general awareness of the game's systems. I'll admit, I don't do much MP, I stick to the campaigns, skirmish and user-generated scenarios but whenever I watch a LEL it's like I'm watching someone who just sat down and booted up AOK for the first time. but then you see the very same players luring boars to their TC and stuff like that. it's just so weird how one can have learned stuff like this but still be completely oblivious to some of the most basic things.
@@Grendich I noticed the same. They look pretty good at building their economy and going rather quickly through the ages, but as soon as combat starts, they kind of fall appart. They also don't seem to understand the technologies and how the blacksmith's techs are so fundamental to success.

It would be really balanced if you could steal like... a certain percentage of the other players resources by trading with their market and they'll get a notification saying "you have been robbed!" And they'd have to kill the trade cart to get the resources back before the trade cart reaches its market, it would encourage players to defend their market in non-diplomacy games, i think stealing 2% food & wood and 1% gold and stone per trade cart would be good, if the enemy has 1000 gold thats 10 gold, would also teach players not to bank resources too much if they have no defense, i often see players with 60.000 food in pro games, a single trade cart would take 1.200 food from them 😂
You start without ELO. ELO is first calculated after 10 or 20 (forgot) ranked matches. During this time you are matched up against players in the same situation.
You start with 2000 elo After 10 games, the computer deducts all lost respect from your father for playing old computer games Whatever is left is your elo

UU: Gunboat - small single cannon/gun Boat. Somewhat expensive, but powerful boat good at blasting ships from a medium distance. Fire rate and damage between A galleon and cannon galleon , Brilliant for targeting demolition ships , only slightly stronger than galleon anti building damage.

This one is just a fun match shenanigan i loove it
Marketplace should start the game with each player having a market and needing to decide between scouting and trading.
As an AoE beginner: What's the point of taking pigs 1 by 1? I always put all of them into the TC and the villagers butcher them there...
LEL big brain move: play a civ that doesn´t have suplies so you can´t click it.
It would be really balanced if you could steal like... a certain percentage of the other players resources by trading with their market and they'll get a notification saying "you have been robbed!" And they'd have to kill the trade cart to get the resources back before the trade cart reaches its market, it would encourage players to defend their market in non-diplomacy games, i think stealing 2% food & wood and 1% gold and stone per trade cart would be good, if the enemy has 1000 gold thats 10 gold, would also teach players not to bank resources too much if they have no defense, i often see players with 60.000 food in pro games, a single trade cart would take 1.200 food from them 😂
Nerdmode on: "Gaia means "Mother Nature" in old Greek ...
Supplies got into the LEL game! RIGGED
Hahaha!
Knowing the player is T90 viewer make this match unfun as LEL to me anymore. Turns out watching T90 doesn’t convert people into decent aoe2 players.
best series!
Gaia is the goddess of Earth btw 🙂
do u start with 1k elo?
You start without ELO. ELO is first calculated after 10 or 20 (forgot) ranked matches. During this time you are matched up against players in the same situation.
Your Elo is not displayed until you have played 10 ranked games, but the game does keep track of it, and it starts at 1000.
You start with 2000 elo
After 10 games, the computer deducts all lost respect from your father for playing old computer games
Whatever is left is your elo
If you manage to trade with enemy market, it should just steal their gold outright.
like a moth to a flame
GG both! Btw SUPLIIIIIEEEES would have won this if he played GOTH!
❤️🧡💛
Big trees = big like🌳
Haha, terrific !
Would feel bad for supplies if he wasnt a goths arena player
my boy suppliiiieess struggling w/a different civ...had he played goths, he would have won easily ;)
nice.. make a 1v1 a bit more interesting as there is trade potential
If blue only used his trebs after reaching Imp and not throw away units for no reason into towers, he would've won so easily.
I remember when LEL were actual legends, now it's just garbage.
MB just refused to take the L
Age of empires online wasn't that bad.
Just a random thought that came to my head.
painful match
Make it so if your trade with the enemy market they lose resources and you gain them.
Blue doesn't win. He a blue noob. also having more gold collectors does not maketh a better economy if you throw all your resources into the thresher of reds defenses
This is a rerun
Blue is the worst I ever seen, holy cow tunnel vision lol
god this was such a terrible game from blue's point of view. just learn your lesson man and dont throw away units.
Trading vs HEISTING ! I like the option. But it should be MORE than DOUBLE, I reckon. Should be 4 x given the risk of immediate death for the trader..... 💀
The thing about map gen that really pisses me off is not the boars, it's when there's only TWO Players, they're almost next to each other. Aaaarrrrggghhh! 😠
Supplies? "She's apples, mate!" Do you know that Aussie expression, T90? 😁
