I stayed at South Point on 13 June 2023 and I ate at the Garden Buffet at 3:30 pm Tuesday. Already there was a line for the Prime Rib. It was very popular. And this buffet was not very expensive.

I was in Vegas last April and ate the steak & eggs and seafood buffet at south point. I sure hate I missed the prime rib dinner. When I go back I will make sure that doesn’t happen again.
It's 5AM and now I am starving for prime rib. Excellent video and review. A lot of people talk about Vegas buffets and their seafood. All you can eat lobster and king crab. It seems as though as lobster and crab have exploded in price, the taste and texture has declined. The prime rib has maintained its taste and quality. Vegas is a bit of a drive for me. I think I'll go to the San Franciscan in Torrance for their prime rib dinner, reasonable prices, all inclusive dinners.
Michelin only goes to 3 stars in their ranking system. And Steak Houses are generally left off Michelin's reviews because... I guess they're all supposed to be good enough for 1 star at least. Michelin's entire concept of creating the road guide was to let you know how far you should go out of your way on a road trip. 1 Star, that's worth a two hour detour. 2 Star's, thats worth an entire day trip, 3 Stars, plan your vacation around this location.
Always enjoy your videos and I knew you'd come back to the South point to review this restaurant. Everything looks very good especially the potatoes. Thank you for posting.
Coming to vegas tommorow, want to eat a juicy prime rib… Ellis island, jerrys coffee shop, or primarily prime rib??? Where would you go too for best prime rib out of those three??? Awesome video bro..
I really like Jerry's Nugget, but they might have changed the sizes of the cuts and the prices... but I like the prime rib at Jerry's the best. The best quality would be Lawry's, but expensive. South Point is convenient with a good prime rib (medium-rare) and convenient. I recommend reading the most recent reviews for the places you plan on going to.
Your videos always look great and have great content. It's always good to see another prime rib review...looked delicious! Always look forward to your videos...

i miss those days in Las Vegas when i could get a prime rib dinner & drink and still leave a gratuity for the waitress for $10. Today the casinos charge so much for everything it is as if the casinos do NOT want you to spend on any money on gambling lol
That's because there is so much to do in Vegas, most people don't gamble. I am a moderate gambler (come with $1500usd for week) and I'm going next month with 2 people that don't gamble a penny. There are so many people like that. Especially the younger people. They go to pools and clubs and watch people in their group bet.
their menu is fairly limited but reasonably priced for Las Vegas, so they must sell a lot of prime rib. I would probably go for the baked vegetable starter and the rodeo cut with a baker tater
There's an $8 or $10 prime rib at El Cortez, but it's small (10oz). My favorite is Jerry's Nugget... (prices are different now), but here's the video ua-cam.com/video/fnhmGZqD9Jk/v-deo.html

You don't need to go south point and going to restaurant for Prime rib! The South Point buffet offering one of the best Prime Ribs all you can eat in Vegas.
Primarily Prime Rib is excellent. I love love love the Silverado Steakhouse and Michaels even more. If you haven’t done Michaels, expect to pay biiiig 💲💲💲💲 but worth every penny. Amazing service, it’s an old-style continental style restaurant that is hard to find here in town. They wlll de-shell your lobster table side for you, and it’s mind-blowing how the waiter does it so fast and efficient. Dover sole is also de-boned table side.
I saw the prices at Michael's. It's DOUBLE the price of a premium steakhouse (on certain items). $36 for a 5 shrimp cocktail, $100 Sirloin steaks? I'm sure it's good, but I'll go to the strip and pay less. I can't say that too often haha. Michael's seems super nice and good, but prices are way way up there. I have to see something more than just "good food" to pay that kind of price. Because there are too many good restaurants for half the price. In other words, it's above the going rate.
More fat is better less fat is not a cleaner cut...Fat is flavor.....lean cuts of prime rib are low quality. The cheap prime showed looks terrible and probably is a fair rep of what it costs.

That is one horrible looking steak. Why bother even heating it up if it looks raw. Sorry I like meat cooked. I must be the only person in here that couldn’t eat it.
Lol. This is a prime rib roast. It's cooked differently from a steak. There will always be people debating over "doneness" of meats.
