Good to see the progress Nat. The layout is really taking shape and you can see the progress with each video. Stephen

Hi Nat, wow! You’ve been busy there, it really does look like it’s taking shape. I’ll be doing much the same I think🤔 with the removable hillside so I can get to track underneath.
I do think that the European models are very good, I have a couple of ferry wagons from DM Toys they are really good with plenty of weight to them and very detailed too.
Looking forward to the next update, cheers Nat, John

      Hi John
It’s going to be a challenge making the hillside removable while keeping it looking like it isn’t. Hopefully with my experimenting it should help you see what not to do with yours😂. I went to The NEC today and was astonished to see some container wagons from Graham farish at £93! so expensive, and the frames looked plastic, I’m so glad I went with the fleischmann ones much better quality.
      Thanks for watching
      Nat🚂👍

Hi Nat! Some good progress there! I like the removable hillside, as I'm going to do something similar at some point! I was very interested in your incline, and was wondering what type of glue you used to stick the cork to it? No problem about the off road parking idea, it was just something that I saw regularly in the 70's and 80's as terraced houses wouldn't normally be built with off road parking! You'd just have to park in the street outside your house, or someone else's - bus drivers weren't given any consideration! Lol! Looking forward to the next update! All the best, Ian.

      @@iansngauge hello there Ian
The incline is from woodland scenics, I used PVA from Poundland (other stores are available) layered it on quite thick then weighed it down leaving it for 24 hrs to fully dry. Thanks for watching.

@@Nat-AVMR-N-gauge - Thanks Nat! Yeah, I've got the same inclines! They're something I've not tried glueing yet, but Woodland Scenics sells its own type of foam glue so I wondered if that was necessary! I've done lots of glue tests previously, and found that good old PVA sticks most things together well if you give it enough time! Thanks again! Ian
