Reminds me of a friend I had in highschool who got perfect scores in his AP Psychology class *and* the teacher offered extra credit for additional assignments meaning by the end of the class he needed a -40% or so on the final in order to not get an A in the class.
And yet somehow he didn't get a 5/5 on the AP test.

This run was beyond disgusting. Not only does he get the multi-multi trigger x2 x2, he manages to not have the glass break AT ALL until the very end, and he gets the run-ending Hearts-are-debuffed boss just early enough to beat it and remove it from the pool.
The only thing that could've possibly made this more insane is blueprint.
Mime would have also been great with the steels, i THINK it would even activate the red seals
Honestly the biggest thing he missed was not buying Dusk, the run would've gone into the stratosphere with that
That director's cut voucher would have let him reroll the "debuffed hearts" boss anyway, right?
He also skipped Wee Joker twice if you watched the vods. He could've replaced Lusty Joker with it and started stacking with his 5's and 2's

UA-cam audience, you're missing the context that this was the first and last game of Balatro he played this stream. His words were something along the lines of "I can't beat that. Nothing that comes after can top that. I'm done!" This suggestion was a random one on what was supposed to be a pre-birthday stream with some challenges.
This with the minecraft videos makes it look like your old man is trying to play minecraft with you and he doesn't really know what's going on and then he asks to stop by the casino and slowly begins to win everything the casino has as you watch in horror.

I caught this live early on, and I was just like "I'm just gonna watch to the end of this run and then I'll get some lunch." And then an hour or two later I was on the edge of my seat absolutely enraptured. Such a crazy run.

This is RTgame at his best, his saved up all his luck before his birthday and before his yearly luck resets, beating his mentor Ms.cupcakes while meta gaming both in game and in life

I've only just put in my first few hours of Balatro, and watching someone who has experience with the game be able to form a plan from just a couple of early game options and build it into something like this is absolutely incredible to watch.

11:54 the bus still does stuff as it's a growing add on for multi that was also giving him 50 chips. I think the better move was selling trading card as it wasn't doing anything at the time.
Fair, but it would've gone eventually, he was really wanting to hit Blueprint, Brainstorm, Dusk or even a Seltzer. Anything to keep on Bloodstone stacking.

Seeing RT be not just competent, or lucky, but actually amazing at a game is something I both did not expect and absolutely terrifies me. Truly savant behaviour.
All I've learnt so far about this game is that Dan _loves_ hearts.
I have an unreasonable annoyance with the little RT in the corner that just moves drawing my eye and covering the screen
The score escalation in those extremely late-game Antes really get stupid fast. I think it forces at least two orders of magnitude of score growth between each Ante at that stage, meaning the small blind of Ante 14 required 500x the score (5.3e13) of the boss of Ante 13 (1.68e11)... At those rates, by Ante 17 you'd be seeing exponent values of at least e20 (which is 10,000,000x larger than e13, for the record). Unless they decide to add exponential card effects or some other kind of extreme multiplier mechanic, it seems like the game actually has a hard limit on how far you can make it in endless. With the sheer number of multiples upon multiples RT had, even his strongest attack he could draw barely hit e13!
i saw a clip where someone /broke/ the score counter by getting to a high enough ante where the score became "naneinf"

Hack is my favorite joker because the game just goes super fast. When you fet a straight flush a-5 and you repeat 4 of them, with a bunch of triggers, it feels like you’re god
Skipping The Idol/Ancient joker(11:49) with deck thinning on the way to a flush 5 deck was something my greedy self wouldn't have done. (They only pick from cards in your deck, if you only have 2 of Hearts it'll make each one scored a x2)
I was so sad to see that missed at that moment

On my birthday I decided to try the seed BIRTHDAY for fun and it turned out to he a wild seed where you get a ton of negative jokers in the store including negative baseball card.
