Man, what a wonderful way to start the weekend. Finished my run and saw you guys uploaded this. One of my favorite Yeah I’ve Played’s in a minute. Thanks so much for playing the game and thanks for having that tier on the Patreon. If anyone hasn’t subscribed at that level and enjoys this series and has a favorite game that you want the boys to go through, I would highly recommend doing it. Loved this one.
This is one of those games that's really fun to talk about. But in order to really talk about it, you have to have played through it. And that's where the challenge lies.
I finally got a chance to watch this. Crazy game. I'm pretty sure this is the game where I ran out of gas and had to walk back the town for half an hour, lol. Anyway, y'all are hilarious. Hidden Machine is my favorite thing on the internet, thank you for the amazing posts, so underrated.
Finished Deadly Premonition yesterday after I was way too scared of the horror sections in 2010. So of course I have to watch this video. 😁 Still have over four hours until I finish the video, but I wanted to write down some thoughts before I forget them: - If you have a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One or a Xbox Series the best way to play Deadly Premonition is the original Xbox 360 version. Runs with stable 30 FPS (except for the few splitscreen sections) and is almost bug free. You have to get used to the tank-ish controls, but they're not that bad. - As far as I understand the PC version pretty much sucks. Don't use that one. Switch seems okay except some physics bugs while driving? - Soooo, you emulated the PS3 version on PC? Because I heard the PS3 version has a disappointing draw distance and a bunch of other bugs. - Why is Matt dressed as Max Payne 3????
Playing the original on Xbox is definitely a good way to go. The Director’s Cut adds stuff like modern controls and a various fixes and updates, and it felt like the more definitive version of the game for this particular video. We almost emulated the Switch port, but PS3 wound up being easier to set up. We didn’t experience any real bugs, mostly just some texture fighting and clipping, but it was pretty rare. The emulated PS3 version fixes a lot of issues the console port introduced. Also, it’s the other way around, Max Payne is dressed as Matt.
