Get real trucks and real wheels with real bearings. Maybe some independent trucks and Spitfire wheels with bones bearings and it will feel 1000 times better

I'd say Swiss Ceramics but crazy expensive but another great option above Reds™ is Bronson G3's or Raws. Used Reds for yrs but after trying Bronsons 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 going back. Also highly recommend Dragons for wheels or even some OJ's.

You could get some plastic truck risers and grind them out to match the curve of the pogo plate. That would give you a nice flat surface to mount the trucks. This thing it awesome!

Matty, you should try using the back peg like a penny-farthing bike mount. Put your right foot on the peg and pump with your left foot... then when you're ready step your left foot up to the crank-mount peg, followed by the right foot to the crank-mount peg.

Keep in mind the mounting hardware you used for the skateboard trucks are the weak link. I can tell just by seeing them that they are 𝙉𝙊𝙏 Grade 5 or 8 hardness. You basically used machine screws which a long with threaded rod bends and breaks very easily.
