SCOTTY CRANMER: The Best of Scotty Cranmer | World of X Games
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 тра 2020
- Starting in 2003, New Jersey BMX prodigy Scotty Cranmer started competing in X Games BMX Park competitions. And through the years, he amassed 14 X Games competition appearances, including three bronze medals, three silver medals and three gold medals.
Scotty's riding signaled a sea change in BMX Park riding at X Games. Before he took gold in 2006, only three other riders had ever won gold in BMX Park. Then came Scotty leading a new wave of riders that did serious battle for over a decade. It was always edge-of-your-seat competition when Scotty took to the course. From turndown frontflips to ninja walk drops over unique taco configurations on the course, Scotty did it all, with a smile on his face (after he was done competing of course...)
Here, we assembled all of Scotty's gold medal runs from his competition years at X. Enjoy!

Scotty has accomplished so much, and despite major setbacks he is still riding and improving to this day. He could have walked away from BMX after being paralyzed but instead he is still in it and inspiring the next generation of riders with his youtube channel.
He is a champion in every way. True inspiration.
the progression is absolutely insane. having thousands of miles on the bike is insane nonetheless, let alone being paralyzed just less than 4 years ago. real role model right there. i wanna see him pump thru these tracks as a tribute. absolute legend. put him up there with dave mira
A true legend. He is alive for a reason
@@bliviont You don't need to defend yourself here. What you said was pure and true and beautiful and that's what matters.
@@XGames thank you 🙂
Scotty was so good he hit the “reset skills” button because no else could compete with him.
Optimistic take!
Kody Johnson yeah everyone needs time to catch up
69th like
It’s like prestige mode on call of duty
True
Absolute legend. His accident was majorly unfortunate, but his progression over the years has been amazing to watch and he brings great personality and knowledge in the booth. Hope he continues to be a part of x games for a long time. Wouldn't be surprised to see him do a lap around the course during practice for old times sake in the coming years.
The sheer willpower after that horrific accident is unreal. Not many can recover with that amount of positivity like he did.
Crazy to try and imagine what he would be doing now if it weren't for his accident, seeing his progress now is still so insane knowing he was told he might never walk again.
he did a foot high bunnyhop a few days ago that blew our minds. it was incredible to see
positivity goes a long way
Scotty is a huge inspiration and I'm happy to see him riding more the last couple of days 🤘🏻

Scotty was the Dave Mirra of his era : a miracle boy. And now he his one of the most inspirational human you can find.
Scotty cranmer is my favourite rider by far ... watched his yt videos for years ..
Me too
Theres reason he was pulling a half million views per video back in the day 😰 dude is insane on a bike
I met him in 2007. One of the coolest guys ever. Funny thing is that I had no idea who he was. He actually approached me in Georgia because I had a sticker from a guy who tuned my car and he happened to use the same tuner in New Jersey. I even sold him car parts years later. Awesome guy and very humble.
Bro, I saw a video he made about that bike. That's awesome!
Scotty was the whole reason i got hooked on bmx. I was 11yo when i saw his 2013 run, and immediately i was hooked and asked my dad to get me a bike cause i wanted to do tricks on them too. After a few years when i was starting to be serious about riding, I came across Scotty's yt channel then from there i remembered that he was the guy that sparked my passion for bmx and ever since then i watch all his uploads and i also owe it to him cause he's one of the reasons i wanna keep improving. He's definitely one of my hero's
Scotty is to your generation what Dave Mirra is to mine and Scotty's generation.
The goat
That first run brought back such memories: when Scotty was a young up and comer, and Danel Dhers still had jacked up teeth.
In my book Scotty will go down as one of the greatest of all time. A true legend in BMX. The stuff he did and continues to do has inspired a many. Scotty has not let anything stop him from being the best he possibly can.
I'm very happy Scotty is still here with us
Man, if it wasn't for that horrible accident, who knows what other medals he would have won. Dude is a legend, one of the best to ever do it.
i cried a little bit after reading the description no biggie
I love Scotty
Scotty cranmer is the park bmx goat of this generation with all that he had accomplished. i’m from new jersey, grew up going to TIC and i remember every time i would go, scotty or marry would be riding and all eyes would be on them on every normal day
Scotty along with his side kick Big Boy are the Batman & Robin of BMX, running the most entertaining BMX channel on UA-cam. He has thrown the shackles of his accident off and continues to make the content that goes from strength to strength, he’s one of the most inspiring people in the game.
He’s a legend in every sense of the word.
Eh
Scottys going through a hard time right now, everyone go show him so love ❤️
Such a great rider and a great dude.
@Adrian B still is
@Adrian B just because he had an injury
Can't help but smile watching him ride
There will never be anyone like Scotty
I just cried watching this. Scotty is a legend. Noone will ever take his spot.
Scotty even though he had his accident which partially paralyzed him, for him to still be an inspiration to everyone and to share his stories is so cool. Heck when i got my new bike frame last year, i saw how he built his bike back in 2014 and i built my bike ALMOST the same way he did.
Scotty Cramer is a alien👽, he is so good. I don't ride a bike but I love watching his UA-cam channel. I love watching Scotty host the x games
I used to love the old X Games Parks. I wish they still used these kinda set ups.
I agree the new "park" set ups which are just bowls are lame and you see way less big tricks on them. I loved these set ups which were designed to get riders big air and big tricks
One of if not the best rider of all time
this is great because he did every trick he wanted to do so now he can re learn them!
This dude is one of the most comfortable ppl I have ever seen on a bike!!! Just a pure natural, sad what happened but plz subscribe to him! Love his content and he has 1 of the best personalities in the WORLD!!!
A definite GOAT for sure. One of the best influences in BMX to this day, his legacy will continue for decades. BMX is so lucky to have a guy like Scott inspiring the next generation, and generations to come. True legend.
2:26 look it's Big Boy's cousin from Kentucky
It's amazing how much the courses and styles have changed over the years!! Look at the 2022 x games!! No big flairs or double tailwhips!!
Scotty is a real life HERO.
Always and forever the goat bro!
Dude Matty looks just like young Scotty, I’m glad matty is trying to continue the Cranmer legacy
Bro, Scotty is such a great person and even before his accident he still's wanna try to ride, respect that a lot, but he will always be a PRO BMX RIDER for us
truly a legend. even still today with how he's constantly pushing the big dog to progress on the Scotty Cranmer channel. solid dude all around and someone for the younger generation to idolize FOR SURE
I met Gary Young and I talked to him for about an hour and he said he thinks Scottys crash actually made him much more passionate and so much better of a rider and a person
We probably lost out on the best and most innovative years of scotty’s bike riding. Really f’king sucks.
His old style has been rubbing off on someone though. I got a feeling slam poetry will be back on a bike here in the next year or two.
@@turkeyguy0 slam poetry? who is that?
@@shaunmilor Was an old joke about Scotty's style, "slam poetry on a bike". He'd do something like a flair tailwhip and come down into a manual then from the manual do a fufanu on something, 360 out fakie manual, full cab barspin back into a fakie manual then he'd pull a whip out of nowhere land in a manual still and manual around an entire skatepark... slam poetry on a bike.
The guy who his old style is rubbing off on is Big Boy. OBB has a long way to go but me and a few other people see how fast he's progressing and I'm personally noticing he's starting to do a lot of stuff like Scotty used to and that makes sense being that Scotty is like his mentor.
@@turkeyguy0 Ha!
@@XGames Please tell me you guys at X Games are watching Big Boy turn into another Scotty slowly.
I’ve seen his UA-cam channel but I never knew he was on x games and never knew he was this nasty 🔥
Legendary, Scotty Cranmer will forever be a 🐐
Scotty is a legend and has overcame so much. Some people would have just gave up and let the injury control their life but not scotty he has worked hard everyday to get better and get back to himself and I have so much respect for him. He overcame something that not many can do. You know X games maybe hit scotty up and see if he wants to announce one of these events or something I'm sure it would be nice to be able to be back around that atmosphere and enjoy what u love and did for many years.
thank you for making this!! love you scotty, thank you for everything
I love some Scotty Cranmer! Thanks for posting this
come back to watch this every now and then just to see how amazing he was
Absolutely breaks my heart. Happy to see hes till working hard recovering and keeping up with the youtube channel
Scotty's a legend. A very great inspiration to many
I met Scotty a little bit over a year ago at a skatepark here in Florida. He asked If he could ride the miniramp with me. I saw him struggle to get up to the ramp as he apologized. we chatted for a second and he told me about his accident and his Vlog. I'm a skateboarder but i've since seen some footage of his pre accident but nothing like this. Geez!! I didn't know he was that gnarly! I'm watching this and holding my tears back. I can't imagine what he's gone through but I do know he's an inspiration and one tough M'efer!
I loved discovering his yt channel back over 4 years ago. What a journey it's been
The GOAT. was awesome rewatching all these clips 👌👌
Scotty such a power rider , love watching these
Awesome video! Cranmer is the man!
legend
Love Scottie ❤️
Massive inspiration to me. Seeing what he's been through and smashing through the other side. Makes my daily struggles so much easier to deal with.
Scott is the greatest person ever to rep the sport I will watch every piece of content you put out involving him. you need him as a commentator
Watching this in 2021, back then these were huge for us. Fast fwd to the Xgames the other day, where all the riders were riding like players in a video game of 2006.
I’ve been watching this guy forever. He’s inspired me in ways I couldn’t have ever imagined. I’m so thankful that he’s okay and still riding and recovering. Everyone go and check out his “can’t slow down” merch. I love supporting this guy.
Man i miss seeing him ride. Made everything look so effortless. Truly a humble human being that was extremly talented. Love watchin him progress thru his youtube channell
Interesting to see how the crowd was way more hyped back in the days, probably there was even a bigger crowd. The golden days of action sports I think!
I could watch clips of Scotty all day, he was such a great rider and he still is my favorite UA-camr!
I always love the vids of scotty...such an innovator and fierce competitor
What a legend and an idol to so many, if only more people were like Scotty
Scottys come bake after his bad crash is impressive and shows you do what ever you put your mind on
Scotty is just one of the best riders I've ever seen, and now watch his channel coz hes a hero, lovely guy, given his whole life to bmx and we can't thank him enough for it! Legend
Love how he dont ride with music in his ears. This dude dont need no extra push, he just straight up lives this. 🔥
Scotty is one of the GOATS, the way he carries himself and rides. One of a kind dude
Grew up watching Scotty and still do every upload. He is truly inspirational in so many aspects of life I know he has a rough life compared to what he deserves but him trying to stay positive through everything and especially since hes getting back on the bike a lot more lately that's the positivity this world needs and with Matty racing I feel like he's passed on the torch and truly loves stepping back watching Matty grow in the sport. the excitement and enthusiasm he has while filming the races is why I will always watch his videos. He still is a major contributor to bmx a true legend.
Scotty was and still is an absolute phenomenon. I have never seen someone just send it like him.
I watched all three of these events live when I was mainly skating and BMX was a side interest, so when I came across Scotty's channel I knew the name and was blown away. Such a humble guy, just chillin with his friends, pushing them forward and making videos. Not even afraid to admit when someone had done an insane trick in a game of bike against him, an X Games gold champion. It really broke my heart to see him break his back in the 2016 X Games, the year I was finally able to watch it live again, and then to see everything that's happened since, but he's been so optimistic and just keeps pushing forward. It's really hard to do after a TBI like that, I've been there. You feel so lost to not be able to do so much that you did before, but Scotty has handled everything that's been thrown at him like a true champion. He refueled my interest in BMX in 2015, and he still does so today now that I finally have a bike and can start riding again. I don't think I'll ever be close to the level these guys are, starting back out at nearly 30, but as long as I can have the fun and the mindset that they do, that's still winning in my book.
The video I have been waited !
The GOAT!!!.
Love Scott and I’m really happy he is back on a bike and practicing with Bigboy
So freaking legendary, this dude is an insane sender. So much props
You're a beast, my brother! Amazing. Great video. Thanks for putting this together for us to enjoy!
Peace ✌️
He was and still is a beast! He is an inspiration to all bmx riders..
this guy is truly champion, after the accident he's still riding !
We love you Scotty!!!great human being and an amazing rider.

Shed a tear on this one scotty died doing what he loved came back with a new body nobody will ever do what he did
I would add the run on big boy's ramp from yesterday's video to a best runs. He's made amazing transformation after he's accident. Much love. Thanks for making this.
A true gem. Love you so much Scotty!
I miss Scotty riding like this, this is such a good thing to see
When box and the xgames was big !!!! I’d sprint home from where ever I was at to make sure I watched xgames
My guy scotty. Truly inspirational
Scotty is concrete mindset guy.He focus on basic of bike skills so many times just because he know what could go wrong when you take it to new step and his recovery has been amazing. He will be back with another X games gold medal may be in next few years, even more stronger and better. Hatts off what a incredible mindset.
What a boss ! This was wild to watch 🔥🔥🔥
He will always be one of the greats!!
Young Scotty is a beast love that guy . so kool and humble
