Here's a trick: The Norwegian freeze dried pouches have a second pull tab that you can use after rehydrating, so you can eat it with a regular spoon if you don't have a long MRE spoon. ... or if the spoon breaks.
"Drytech" the company, makes a wide range of "REAL" camping/hiking food products, im not sure how easy it is to aquire over in the U.S but over here in Norway you can find their products in just about any grocery store
That pulled pork was a hit, I think that is the most I have seen you keep eating. Do the most unique one you have next.... If there is 1 that is a little different.
I want this channel to go crazy viral because they deserve it, but at the same time its amazing how responsive Tyler is on his social media platforms and that would be hard to keep up with thousands and thousands of comments. ROOTING FOR YOU GUYS! You rock and make every day better 😊 (even while I’m writing a paper for grad school😢)
That Real brand is the same brand as the backpacking “Real Turmat” brand and while I haven’t tried it myself yet, that reindeer stew is supposed to be the bomb from what I’ve heard. That’s the signature item I always hear about. I didn’t know they did military MREs until y’all did one!
Greetings from Norway, recently it's become hotter here, with longer summers and shorter winters. At least down in the southern inland where I live. A hot summer day can be around 30-35°C in the shade.
The sad thing is that they're about to go out of business since the Norwegian military has started to look at other vendors - even though they are huge in the civilian market as well.
Spare til fremtidige generasjoner vet du, den der mytiske generasjonen som åpenbart kommer til å være så eveneveik at hvis NAV mangler penger kommer Norge til å dø ut på dagen.
They are not looking for another vendor. Government procurement rules demands that after certain years do you have to go out broadly with a tender. That is what Norwegian army are doing. Nothing new
The taste of any of this doesnt matter in the field. It never has, because every part of your body just wants nutrients. But its good that some of them doesnt taste like liquid garbage as they are sometimes consumed when you are not about to die from starvation.
Always have a little bit more water than the fill line. Take it from someone who resorted to taste fuel in order to get the brick out after the first week of living on that.
The Norwegian military will most likely not use these from Drytech anymore, as EU regulations mean that they must have such purchases on tenders throughout the EEA area. They are then forced to choose the most reasonable alternative within the criteria they set. This will most likely not be a Norwegian company.
Based on your current experience, what items you would choose from rations from various countries to compile a perfect field ration? More importantly, what items you would no way choose?
I see a lot of comments that Volvo is Swedish... ;) What you should have said was: You drive a Tesla and that prabobly means you are from Norway, and you like frozen pizza. :D
Ey ey ey, calm down 2:29. We do season our food, we just have some of our traditional Norwegian meals with less seasoning😂 and yes you can buy the real products in our sports stores.
It would be interesting to see the EXTREMES- countries who are known for taking care of their military and those who… let’s’ say, either dont care or dont have the money/resources to develop good MREs. Trying another Korean. Maybe Singapore. Idk what small countries have them like Moldova or something
We got warm summers with 21 to 24 hour sun and dark depressing winters with rain snow and darkness every day and Volvo is Swedish we have a bunch Of gay Tesla drivers tho
First time I see an american use an electric cattle😂 American MREs are not the worst. Yes its mostly artificial garbage. But it feeds you and most importantly push your moral. Cause its a lot of comfort food in there and a lot of variety. Most other nations have very minimal viriety and only look on the nutritional side and less on the moral boosting wholsome side of food. Only a few countries can combine quality, variety and wholsomeness in their MREs.
American MRE's are designed to constipate U.S forces and to expand the anal muscles in preparation to receive the green weenie! A lot of science has been dedicated to it! :)
Here's a trick: The Norwegian freeze dried pouches have a second pull tab that you can use after rehydrating, so you can eat it with a regular spoon if you don't have a long MRE spoon. ... or if the spoon breaks.
And open the tabs on the bottom so it flattens out.
Yay Josh is back! You two are so funny together!
I missed josh sooo much

They're very famous in Germany too...We in the German Army like them more than our EPa's (OnePersonRation). But they're more expensive...
I'm so happy to see Joshua back!

The REAL bags you were eating from, we have all the flavours, it is normal too bring them wen we go hiking in the mountains ❤

The fruit soup is amazing when it's cold outside. I can't really stomach it otherwise.
I’m Greek so I’d love to see you do one from Greece 🇬🇷
Great as always guys

They have seasons. Winter, winter and winter. Haha good one. Nice video guys. Love from Norway.
I thought it was only two: A white one and a green one 😊
Me thinking as Josh pours hot water in that cup.. NOOOO!! 😂😂
You should have had Ballistic High-Speed film that hot water pour in the plastic cup. Great video today guys.
OMG. I’m in Norway right now. Sim trip. Wet. Miserable. This would go down well right now. 😊

The fruit soup you have to stir so the powder mix well….. I love it ❤

It can mean a new vendor or not. Who knows
Good video guys. Very entertaining and funny.
I'm starting to love this channel. You're very funny.
I did one year as a conscript, but I dont think I ever got this one 😵 Looks good though! Glad you like some of it 😂
More Teslas than Volvo
Hey Tyler, I'd love for you to try a Kosher MRE. That would be awesome!
Good to see Joshcatto again! He still exists!

My first car was a volvo, but I'm definitely not from Norway LMAO. Your videos always make me want to try an MRE. One day!
Tesla is the most common car in Norway by sales. :)

I was thinking do not put boiling water in that cup
HEY!! we have seasoned food, don't compare us to the redcoat British Foods.
I came here to say the same thing!
Based on your current experience, what items you would choose from rations from various countries to compile a perfect field ration?

What you should have said was: You drive a Tesla and that prabobly means you are from Norway, and you like frozen pizza. :D
hey, dummy,, no one like frozen pizza......... they all fry it in the oven, if you didnt know
love the video guys, maybe work on the editing and then its top notch:)
This looked like a nice meal, aside from the fruit soup maybe.
Ey ey ey, calm down 2:29. We do season our food, we just have some of our traditional Norwegian meals with less seasoning😂 and yes you can buy the real products in our sports stores.
I would like to see an MRE from the actual largest military in the world, by current active service people, China.
You're correct, two mains and one breakfeast per day is the norm.
You should do the "cooking" better and use right tools, cup for hot and plastic for cold😂
Do you have an Australian mre? I'd like to see if that's any good.
I'm that kind of chef 😂 Never have salt/pepper at the dining table
It would be interesting to see the EXTREMES- countries who are known for taking care of their military and those who… let’s’ say, either dont care or dont have the money/resources to develop good MREs. Ofc we have seasonings! Salt and pepper 😂
Do Sweden!
Volvo is Swedish - Hardly see any here in Norway
When will there be a new German Ration Video? 😊
Boys, you need a tray
2:26
What do you mean «surprising» that the food have SEASONING??!!
During the viking age, we stole most of our spices from Engla… oh. Wait…
Pouring boiling water into a plastic cup? Yup, that went about as well as I expected, ha ha.
Pouring boiling water into a plastic cup is such an American thing to do
hello
Hey don’t dis our seasons. 😂 we have 4 of them just maybe not to your liking 😂😂😂
Rip plastic cup 🙏😂
Volvo is Swedish 😅
Volvo = Sweden
Volvo is Swedish 🤣
We got warm summers with 21 to 24 hour sun and dark depressing winters with rain snow and darkness every day and Volvo is Swedish we have a bunch Of gay Tesla drivers tho
Do you have anything from India or Pakistan?
No no no. This is a food channel.
First time I see an american use an electric cattle😂
