That's what I thought too, his initial crash into the quantum realm should have been the opening scene, and then the marvel opening. I think Janet, Hank and Scott should have gotten stuck down there (after Janet came down in the middle of the night trying to dismantle the machine), with Cassie and Hope trying to set them free. I think in the attempt to escape, the Van Dynes should have been killed off, and there should have been an open ending on whether or not Kang had remained trapped. That would establish him as a real threat without completely ending his story.

If Marvel doesn't bring back Jonathan Majors to team up his Kang with Robert Downey Jr.'s Dr. Doom in Secret Wars....that will be the Multiverse Saga's GREATEST failure.
I agree, I don't care how powerful Doctor Doom is, there's no way he's eliminating every single presence of Kang. The existence of Nathaniel Richards in all of his forms is simply a middle finger to all of reality in Marvel, just like Eobard Thawne is for DC.
People hate this movie. But Kang in this film was unbelievable. His presence, way he speaks, his facial mannerisms, way he views time. It was all brilliant. Plus Cassie calling Hank Grandpa and then her own super suit. That gave me a good feeling too.
I havent seen anyone mention it yet, but the facial cues? ARE PERFECT! When he looks at his opponent its not with your basic angry evil expression, but more so with frustrating disappointment...like "you poor naive soul...", its almost akin to m. Bison in the old street fighter when he couldnt remember what he did to chun lo because to him it was just tuesday....people come for the hero but stay for the villain...

Jonathan Majors is one of the greatest actors to ever grace the big screen. The way he commands a scene with his presence is breath taking. Once it is all said and done, he will be up there with the greats: Marlon Brando, James Dean, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro

Kang is probably one of the most powerful villains.. he is ten times as powerful as Thanos in actuality. Think about it. Thanos was going to wipe out half the life in one universe. This guy extinguished entire time lines of life. That's fucked.
the original plan for kang was to jkust have him be a one off villain in Ant Man 3 and He Who Remains was going to be a Loki variant. With that in mind all the issues with Kang's story make sense.
