Rest in peace, Lyle Mays. You were a keyboard master and made the synthesizer sound like a real musical instrument.
This is my favorite version because Lyle is dancing all around the beat so inspired just weaving bobbing like a dreamer dreams. Luv u.

I am amazed that the Band kept it together when Pat did his solo. I would have had a hard time staying in check when Pat was going off.

I lost track of how many times I attended a PMG concert but I distinctly remember seeing them play this during their Offramp tour. It was such a unique sound from a guitar, one I had never heard before. They always played this song in subsequent concerts and I never get tired of hearing it.

Sounds like the keyboard is seriously broken! I’ve seen this live many times, it never sounded that way. The guitar is masterful and amazing! Pat never disappoints!

@@johnfairweather9188 I would argue that people care way too much about things that do not matter. I doubt Pat, for example, cared that his name was mispronounced, when at the end of the day, he is up there night after night fulfilling his life's purpose sharing performing some of the most powerful music ever written, and changing lives.
@@japellan It would matter to many people, and you have no idea how Pat would have reacted to this insult. People in the media are supposed to be professionals, and yet this woman couldn't even be bothered to ask anyone how his name was pronounced. It reminds me of what I saw on UA-cam after Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie passed away. People put up tributes to her using music written not by her, but by her bandmate Stevie Nicks. When you can't even be bothered to know anything about someone you are supposedly honouring, then you put your ignorance out there for the whole world to see.
