Decidedly HAUNTING. Both Pat's guitar as well as Anna Maria's voice (incredible control and range). Pat never plays same (version) of music at any performance---always straying and experimenting. He claims to never listen to any of his music he has played in the past. I've been listening to him since the mid-70's, just after he departed U. of Miami School of Music. Always true to his craft. I've been listening to this since the original came out and this performance takes it hands down. A.M Jopek is such a nice addition, but Pat's solo is from another world! By the six minute mark I was on a journey with such a mix of emotions and tears of joy in my eyes. Music just doesn't get better than this.
Its just superb! He’s solos are almost like prayers, the freedom of his playing it’s amazing. I love the original version from off ramp but this arrangement is also sublime. So cool.

Lyle is missing on this version, but Pat pushes it to the max !!! So sweet the voice of Anna, giving it an extra colour and singing Lyle"s phrases. But the definetly best version is on "Travels". I was flashed hearing it live in "Dortmunder Westfalenhalle" when i was about 20 years old. This track opens doors to another universe, it pins down all the longing of human mankind, we should much more search for moments like these instead of doing all the trash that is going on at the moment worldwide. Descargué el audio (en una casete) de un concierto que transmitió TVE y que guardé en VHS, que hizo en Galicia y descubrí en un viaje, que hay dos tipos de personas: A los que nos cautiva su música y a los que les hace removerse en sus asientos. Este sólo es para los primeros y que evidentemente, vibramos al oírlo, siempre. Gracias Pat, y a ti por compartirlo.
