Do not be amazed at the size of your audience. You are a highly skilled craftsman and watching you perform your magic is really fascinating. Thanks for posting these videos.
In the UK that's an adjustable spanner. They're not usually known by a brand name, unlike what you would call channel locks, we usually call them by a brand name 'Mole' grips!! Keep up the great work and don't lie on the hot metal!!!🤣
Guten morgen aus dem Norden von Deutschland. Ich schaue dir schon eine ganze weile zu bei den Projekten. Ich bin begeistert, Vielen Dank für die Unterhaltung. Gruß Thomas
The quality of the work you turn out with out the use of a big high end workshop and with equipment that any body can get hold of shows your ability even if you are some what modest about it,but your dry sense of humour sells it for me,congrats on the 20k,
Your crazy I would not miss one second of your amazing work I went to body and fender school at Alameda community College in Alameda California for three years in the 80s I just turned 66yrs old and still love metal working I miss it all I could go on forever please don't stop much love brother !!!!!!!
Love your show. 20000 awesome. There is some humming in lots of your video the last 2 videos. Mostly the start of this one but a little throughout. Great dry humor and fun to watch you and your wifes adventures.
I wouldn't be surprised if you hit 100k subscribers by the end of next year. You make really great content. Most UA-camrs don't do such comprehensive videos on their builds, nor are they as skilled. Keep up the great work dude.
The floor looks great 1st class joʻb can't waite to see the interior in it I know your wife worked pretty hard on it can't wait to see it all together.
I subscribed as soon as I saw the hearse. I've owned a couple of hearses and as a retired funeral director I can say they are a great project car. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
An Adjustable Spanner .. here in England. Mate your skills are disappearing so it’s great to watch you create cars out of flat sheet. Don’t be surprised at 20000 subscribers jeez, awesome work 😎😎👍👍🍻🍻
In the province of Quebec we call this adjustable wrench a Westcott. Probably because of the name of the company which introduced it more than a hundred years ago. Keep up the good work!
Congratulations of reaching and surpassing 20K subscribers. I understand you play down the content but it’s very fascinating to watch. I get the humour 100%. You and the Mrs. are a fun combo. Keep up these videos, maybe sell the hearse in 5 years for $200K (or more). I know it is bespoke. Lotta time and money in that project. Awesome.
Agree with other comments man you and wife both super skilled and talented amazing work on this car thank you for sharing the videos and experience with us
Really nice job..in the 90s,i tubbed my 71 caddy superior landaulet. When i rebuilt the floors,i did it 1/16 plate, including the tubbs,so i know how tough it is to do floors, and how satisfying it is to finally see it done..
Always looking forward to the next video. You are a true craftsman, but unfortunately, a dying breed. Keep up the good work until that hearse hauls you home!
Congratulations on 20,000. Love watching the videos and enjoy when you respond back. I've said it at least once. I watch these videos to help me through my cancer battle. Your videos are powerful to a lot of us here.
I was thinking about that today. To me I’m just entertaining myself. But it is true, it does become more than that to the viewer in some cases. We’ve all been at points in our life that TV becomes our only out. The ability to reach out to the host is a really neat thing. Can you imagine trying to talk to someone on actual TV. Good luck. But on this platform it can become a personal experience. And that is pretty neat. I wish you luck on your journey, I know it’s not an easy one. 🙏🏻 thank you and God bless
It’s funny, I’ve been bald since my mid 20s. If my hair grew back tomorrow, I would shave it off. I like being bald even though I look like uncle fester
Awesome video, as always. I use a portable sunshade when I work on my junk yard buy, 95 Dodge 2500,, saves me from sweating too much, I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the fantastic job!
Congratulations on the milestone it a big achievement, I watch your show from a little town in Newfoundland Canada , you do fantastic work with what you have and get amazing results, that’s what hot rodding is all about , I’m a retired ford technician who also builds in my home garage , I love what you do so keep up the good work , Sheldon
I really enjoy your videos. Great sense of humor also. And Your do it yourself knowledge. Hope your subscriptions continues to grow. Your videos are a laid back and loads😊 of knowledge and you make it look fun Thanks Steve
Thank you. Growing up poor will give you drive to learn. A few months back I was trying to be a little more serious about it. I found that killed my inspiration and made me disinterested. I’m really best at just winging it. It keeps me happy and more creative.
Yes. Plus he was 30 years younger. If you go back and find a video we did called the chicken ranch. It’s in the town where the best little whorehouse it Texas was filmed. We looked at buying the house across the street from the courthouse. It’s one block away from the original brothel.
Howdy Mr. Burt & Mrs. Laura!! Love watching you transform rusted & new metal into the fantastic cars that you build!! The Mrs. Laura does an incredible job creating the interior upholstery pieces too!!!! Big bear hugs from Kenny in Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mabel is like a big barbeque pit sitting out there in semi flat black paint and 102 degrees. You looked almost well done a time or two. People in the northern climates just can't appreciate how hot metal can get in Texas. Thanks for the video and congratulations on going over the 20K subscriber mark!
UA-cam recommended your channel awhile back. I watched the, at that time, current episode; enjoyed it, liked it, followed you, and have enjoyed every episode since. I believe that you have 20K subscribers because you don’t give a fuck. Too many UA-camrs pander to their audience edit out mistakes and come across as fake whereas you are you, rough edges and all. I think your followers enjoy that honesty, I know that is why I continue watching…that and I like watching the transformations of the vehicles you work on. I wish I had half of your talent.
Thank you. I would be easy to show a process to make something like a pro. The this is how you to X. To me, it’s more about the thought process of creation. It’s more interesting to me. For the most part I try and keep things as real as possible. In reality my number one goal in life is to make people laugh. So I’m ok with mistakes ect. It adds to the story. I auditioned for a “reality TV car show” on motor trend. Thankfully it didn’t go anywhere. I just can’t be that fake

It’s funny that some of the names that stick. Westcott is a totally nondescript name.
Here in Finland we call it "jakoavain" (adjustable key/opener) or just a little bit shorter nickname "jakari".
