Valhalla Yes, it sounds contrived and practiced. Lots of young women are doing it these days. They are trying to stand out and want to feel special. This is what the world has come to...there is little authenticity to be found.

I've been in some resale shops that carry upscale merchandise. Back in the 80s I found an Oscar de la Renta dress that was eventually marked down several times. It reminded me of something one would wear to a queen's garden party. I bought it for $10. They carried a lot of designer clothes. I've seen Chanel, Norma Kamali, Prada, names like that.
Cheap??? You can tell by the fabrics and the cuts they’re all designer and couture pieces!!! More and more people can’t tell the difference between cheap and precious and that’s why we designers are all going jobless and bankrupt unless we settle down and sell our soul to H&M. This store is Wonderland FHS!!

Doris is not a sales persons. No, she looks like a Fairy Godmother actually. The way she helps her clients, it seems a magical experience. In that note, Rai's is such a princess. The way she walks, smiles, talks, is straight out of a Fairy Tale character. I really want to see more interactions between them. The Way We Wore seems such a cool and ethereal place. Is fascinating. Where I lived in Brazil, thrift shops and vintage stores are only becoming to be mainstream, so there's not yet a lot of places, but in Porto Alegre, where a live, theres one similar. Is very cool, and the people are amazing.

I love the dress she chose. The black one had strips of fabric all the way up to her lady parts. I know a lot of actresses wear dresses that almost aren't there, but to me it looks cheap like a stripper or worse. I love beautiful clothes that have style instead of pieces of cloth here and there and being almost naked.
I don't know why stripers are considered cheap, it's a job they do. You can't judge anyone by their profession, it doesn't define anyone's character.

Hmm I would have chosen the other one for a night time affair. The first one was beautiful and suited her but did not seem like an evening gala garment. Looked like something for a summer wedding. The occasion matters as much as how well something fits or how the colours suit a complexion etc.

I love this show, with the interplay between Doris working with the personalities (and bodies!) of the customers to find the right piece for an occasion. She's so skilled and nice, helping them "see" and appreciate the different pieces. I wish there were more episodes.
