If I ever won the lottery, or got a job where I could afford it, I'd buy one for my dad. The all steel, blue dial one. He's not a flashy guy, and it's so understated, I think he'd love it (unless I told him the price, lol)
My favourite watch style is a dress watch so I have to go with the GS Snowflake, it's jaw dropping. But there are some very nice steel De Ville models too.
GS watches are stunning. Designs are thought of, movements are fantastic. Very innovative and forward thinking brand. Purists love them because the watches are incredibly fun and enjoyable. I don't get the hate but i think it might be from watch "geeks" that are only in the hobby to make a quick buck
I have a GS SBGN009 on layaway at my local Seiko dealer. Its the 50th anniversary blue dial quartz 9f quartz gmt. Just ordered from Japan. Thanks to my watch dealer for working old school with my broke ass.
I really like the fall watch in the seasons collection but damn do I want a spring drive. The hi-beat is a great movement but at a similar or sometimes more expensive price than a spring drive, it’s hard to not go with a spring drive unless the dial is hi-beat only
To me the similarity of both brands is that I cannot afford them. If I can afford them, I would rather buy rolex for the same amount of money because Rolex watch can hold value.
The good thing about these brands are you can walk out of their store with a watch
Not all models, I want 321 speedmaster for 2 years and nothing, but in this boutique I got BLNR only for 9 months.
That's because they're not as desirable as a Rolex

As nice as the aqua Terra is, grand seiko is lovely.
Omega is my favourite brand and I love my Seamaster 300m. Overall its the best, quality, craftmanship, horology and brand/prestige
I own an Omega Seamaster, but I find myself wearing my Seiko LX titanium spring drive more frequently.

Gonna be honest after into this watch hobby for a while i realize sport model wont go wrong. GS are dressier and not everyone can like it.

Grand Seiko is the best!
Spring drive is only accurate to about 1 second per day for a quartz driven watch. So, no for me. The Omega is better.
