Fantastic work you two. Just love the details in your videos. Also love, love, love the sounds of your Barons engines. Reminds me so much of flying in the outback from Carnarvon in Western Australia with the RFDS in the 70s. I can recognise the sound of any Baron overflying my home anytime.

Hi Capt. Valerie! So nice of you to document this trip for all of us to experience. When you said ‘one day’ I thought, wow that’s very ambitious. But, safety prevails and sometimes things don’t work out. Love how you said French Lick with, what I imagine, a twinkle in your eye (couldn’t tell because you had your sunglasses on). Fun Fact, French Lick is the home of NBA Boston Celtics player Larry Bird! Love your choice of music as you were taxiing at Wisconsin Aviation. Eric waving and you chuckling…that was fun. Then it was arrival time. All business and then all smiles, love it! Hope to see you again sometime, maybe Sun N Fun 2023!

Sure, longest runway gives you more room to land on the runway again.
Computerized ATC and runway to runway autopilot would make Oshkosh landing a breeze. No waypoints, no chatter, just direct.
Twin is a hungry bird. Modern light single 4 seater on mogas with a parachute might cut cost by a factor 3. Unfortunately they barely exist.
I`m no pilot, but to me the last part of the approach you had to do was made too quick and awkward by Oshkosh.

My Dad had a Maule growing up, and for a time, we even had a hangar in the backyard that opened up to a small airport. This brought back a lot of good memories of trips that we took, usually short ones, but sometimes longer journeys. For my Dad, it wasn’t the destination, it was simply being in the air, flying. I did not follow in his footsteps and became a videographer / producer. Very nice production values. Keep it up, and keep flying!

@@SkylineBaronPilot survived the storm that night, ironically, but then broke in the face of the unrelenting 20kt wind on Sunday. We patched it up enough to make it the rest of the week while I spent every opportunity to interrogate every tent user I could corner for which tent to get next year. 😆

I wonder if the headset plug connector is grounding out. It can be as simple as a non conductive washer. Well the landing wasn't a persicion approach, nonetheless you know the old saying?

The plug connector was loose. I hope it does not happen again. Not the best landing for sure but pretty happy I was beyond the green dot 🟢I should have flown a “dog leg” like they have us do at Sun n fun. All the best and thank you! ✈️
Hi, I've enjoyed this video and I also looked at your community pages. Curious; what is the rest of your schtick if you don't mind me asking? No one on a "regular" salary owns a Baron and just flies around the country whereever/whenever. I MIGHT be able to hack a 182 someday, but that would be about it. THANKS!

I am currently looking at a 58TC right now. I was wondering what some real would performance numbers are? Climb rate, fuel burn in climb, cruise speed at 10k, and fuel burn at that altitude?

Nice green dot Val. Always much more dificult with muscle bimotors rather then paper aircrafts :-). Been myself in Florida (for work) this week for the very first time, now I know why people wants to come here and stay for life :-)

I have not seen your videos for a while and noticed that you now have the Aspen 2500 instead of just the 1000 on the left. Great move; you will love the way they give you so much info. We have the 2500 on one side and 1000 PFD/MFD on the other side. They are such a great product.
