    I cant do pistol sqauts on flat ground, but with little elevation I can do pistol squat. It feels like a healthy movement to elevate heal. I do enjoy doing deep bodyweight squats without weights though, but for the time being, elevated heel feels good.

    If ankle mobility/flexion is not an issue, can you go down just as deep in a flat squat as a heels elevated squat?
