Women - "We don't dress to impress men"
Also women "I dressed up and put all this work in so now pay for it"
Lol. So true. The contradictions are sickening.
It’s funny because women aren’t saying both of those things, but the ones that say the first one act like the second thing doesn’t happen.
Like the first sentence says “WE don’t dress…” but yeah a lot are.
THANK YOU!! like which is it woman!!??
I'm a women and I'm in no part in this!!Lol I had one lunch/"date" with a guy who's now my husband. And let me just say I was in work uniform and he still pay for my lunch 😏 and I paid him back with three babies lol, but yeah it was a back and forth thing we did paying the bill, some women do need to stfu, then they complain how no one wants to take them on a date
This. No ounce of integrity.
LADIES, let me say this once. If you get dressed and look nice when going out. It just means you are an adult that loves themselves. If you need to do that for an incentive, you need to rethink your priorities.
True, but investing in yourself and maintaining an appropriate body weight attracts a certain caliber of men which can then transition into incentives 🤷🏾♀️
@@CandieP.... you got a point
I think it's more for confidence reasons but I'm going by my own thoughts, I know most men don't care if you're wearing makeup or not, I couldn't put that on the man when I know it's only me who has a problem with my bare face, that'd be me expecting him to pay because I'm insecure, idk if this is accurate to other women but I know makeup drastically helps my confidence
Agreed. I never pay the first time I meet up with someone. If that first interaction goes well then whoever brings up a date pays. 🤷🏻♂️ or I pay for this date she pays for that date and we go back and forth. I don’t pay just bc they look good🤣 just bc you look good don’t mean men have to give you a hand out👏🏼

She doesn't prefer traditional dating roles. She prefers that men stick to traditional roles while she enjoys the modern role. Heads you lose, tails she wins.

Yeah if someone at a date starts to guilt trip you that they put in effort to look good for this date, that's a red flag! Congratulations to you that you showered, combed your hair, put on some decent clothes, maybe some perfume... WTF imagine some people think showering and doing the bare minimal is an effort... And then there's this chick that goes extra for dates and guilt trips people. Still a red flag regardless. I have never understood make up. I am 32 and I do make up only when I'm going to attend a party. Everyday I absolutely don't. I think women look more beautiful without it. Ironically the men I have gone on dates with told me that they love this about me. I am not saying make up is wrong but don't let it take over your personality. You should be able to step out of the house with same confidence without it. Trust me ladies you will save so much money because make up is really not necessary. The men you should end up with don't care about that $hit.
Getting free stuff isn’t always great. Went to AIT with a girl who already had a boyfriend, but was flirting with this other trainee. After one “date” he kept leaving her creepy video messages hinting he wanted to marry her and was stalking her (he did know she had a boyfriend back home). He’d bring her gifts of her favorite food/snacks to the barracks and was getting increasingly aggressive. She told me, “If he’s dumb enough to keep giving me free stuff, I’m going to take it.” I told her if she keeps taking; he’s going to think she’s interested/he has a chance and will keep stalking her. Lightbulb finally turned on for her and she left him alone. Free stuff is not worth your life, stop playing with men’s money.
I actually never assumed a man would pay on a date. I always made sure I ordered what I could afford and was prepared to pay. I just don't like the feeling of owing someone something. Some women play with men and their money and that's a dangerous game. If he offers to pay that's nice but don't feel he automatically should because he may assume something about you too. Just saying. Respect goes both ways.
Right, you feel me!
It's always nice to have the woman offer to split, I'll still pay for the date but it good knowing what kind of woman she is. Not someone full of herself like the one in the video.

I'm not sure society's value on women is somehow inflated or it's just that this individual lady has delusion of grandeur.
I've heard her sentiment from many other women
It’s a delusion of grandeur. I date women and not ever have I thought that about myself or the woman I’m on a date with. If I offer to pay its because I want to treat her…if she pays I also consider it a treat and or kind gesture. Never would I use her beauty or mine to determine who pays. Once she says something that resembles what this woman says…she can definitely pay her own way.. And if I did consider her attractive.. that’s where it would end. Period
My guess is that she spent a lot of time on Dating Apps which inflated her perception.
No, i'ts not just this individual lady. This is a widespread problem, in the west. States or Europe, it doesn't matter. The average woman, thinks like this now.
It's both, one at the same tho

On of them was structured similar. “Isn’t a man also expected to look good, dress nice, smell good and show up impressive?” The women never had a response besides the occasional “it’s what society expects” (as to why men should pay).

The major problem with both western men and women is that they want to be traditional or modern only where it suits them, in Africa though we both go to work, we as men understand that we have to take care of our women, paying for dates providing a comfortable life for our women and children etc and women know that they still have to take care of us by cooking, cleaning, washing and ironing our clothing etc. we still do our traditional roles though we both wake up and go to work
This is so true I was working until my husband and I planned to start a family and he understood I wasn't able to go to work and have to look after our child so he as the man gave me an allowance . I still do my traditional roles of cooking , cleaning and I respect him as the head of the house. As Africans we still practice traditional roles .

We've done a great job of getting rid of traditional "gender roles" which laid out the rules of the game. But we never took the time to develop a cultural norm to replace them. What I (as a woman) also don't like about this is that it almost implies that if you DON'T do all of that dressing up, you are less deserving of good treatment. Fact of the matter is, nails and hair can be very expensive. A lot of people can't afford that. So if a woman rock her natural, some strip lashes, and a cheap (but cute) dress is she any less worthy of being treated to a nice dinner?
It's crazy because they asked her about that same thing in the video. They all admitted that she would still get dates with men without the extra makeup etc. So yh you have a really good point.

The tradition of men paying for dates originates from a time when women typically didn't work. Because women didn’t work, men were responsible for taking care of them. The courting process was basically the man proving he could take care of the woman.
When your explanation for why men should pay is that "I get pretty for them" it means that tradition needs to be reevaluated.
Agree with you 💯
When couldn’t women work? Serious question because even as far back as the 1600’s there have been female master blacksmiths not to mention weavers and brewers ( both of these professions leading to the surnames Of the same names). Women have been able to professionally work for a long time, it’s just that when jobs are limited and only one half of society ( males ) is expected to support their families ( or risk imprisonment )then those few paying professions would naturally be reserved for those who need it rather than those who just want it.
@@richardbossman9875 I don't think he meant to be taken literally but more figuratively. Women could never earn at the level of a man back then, so it made sense to men to pay. However, now they can blow them away with their salary, yet they still want them to pay. And I don't see this hypocrisy changing anytime soon. As the saying goes: women want the privileges of men, while still being treated as traditional women, with the accountability of children...
Whose ever idea it was to go out on a date is the one who should pay. Since men are usually the ones asking out women, then they are usually the ones paying. I do that and I'm not even a dude..

So many good quotes from this one.
"WE SHOWED UP...!¡!", in my Preach voice.
The way preached said "I SHOWED UP!" 🤣🤣
Preach's face after he chucked the phone. 🤣
Lmfao!!!! Got me in tears over here. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me: "Hey, Chief?"
Chief: "THIS AIN'T IT, FAM!"
Me: "Just checking, thanks."
Love the fun you two have making these , throwing the phone lol
Doing your hair, nails, feet and makeup is a basic standard for yourself but not something you do for others 🤦🏽♀️🙄
Now that's pure friendship. Shit was too funny.
Woah man... Don't you know they're not friends?! Business partners man... Business partners. 😲
I've said this before but they really are the best friends in a non-friend relationship. Aba and Preach are friend-fluid and have been before it was cool.
@@throwacnt7603 Nice!!
@@oneskillpoint4669 Exactly.
They have way to much chemistry to not be somewhat close on a personal level. I think they just say they arent friends just in case things go sour for whatever reason
The chemistry you guys have is undeniable. Whenever y'all are worked up or laughing about something it just automatically makes me have a big stupid grin on my face.
I've been dealing with depression these last few months, but nothing brings me joy like seeing you two crack each other up. The vibes are infectious! Thank you sincerely
I hope you get better. Depression is no joke.

It’s only temporary bro. Things will get better 👌🏾❤️
I love how Aba has no poker face when on these lives/calls. Just straight laughing in their face. I love it!
This episode was exceptionally delightful to me. Preach be cracking me UP!
That moment when he realized he just threw Aba’s phone was gold 😂
Expecting men to pay for dates is a relic of a time when women weren't considered independent or capable & courting was the burden of men.
Or, you know, it's just a sense of entitlement. Some ladies want the princess perks but none of the expectations that go with it.
All the benefits with none of the negatives. Gender equality for the high paying jobs but crickets for the labor intensive jobs, alimony and child support on divorce but only for them.
@@freakymrq
In my experience, most of the time, it's not even a woman thing. I'm a woman & I used to go on dates where she expected me to pay for everything because she was "worth it".
I would have to say "no" since I suspected it was some kind of solicitation sting.
Some folks are just very entitled.
@@ashleybrooke2087 I think social media has made narcissism the norm and even encouraged it to a sickening degree. People feel entitled because people online will give them that feeling all day and they just continue that in the real world.

I got a few coworkers that definitely " showed up". Lazy af! Incompetent mf!
@2:33 I literally watch you guys just to watch ya'll casually goof off. Love yall chemistry & energy.
I love cooking cleaning staying home taking care of my kids, educating them and taking care of my husband. Even though a lot of ppl talk crap and say I do nothing and have no ambition.... it’s a lot of work to maintain a house a raise kids. I’m all about traditional gender roles. It’s not for everyone but I hate how judgmental society is with women that choose family life over a career.
I'm right there with you girl! I'm also a stay-at-home mom and wife. Our home runs on traditional gender roles AND it's a partnership! Taking care of my husband and 4 kids is what makes me happy. You are absolutely right about the societal judgments! They're 100% negative!

I truly do not get the way a lot people like to downplay you guys like that. I’m in a college and I said this on a comment here about a 1 day or 2 ago, you guys are so responsible and resourceful for being a SAHM. It’s def not easy all the time. Your family probably appreciates you guys. I don’t know why others act like your doing this to a bunch of ungrateful people, there’s people here who say it’s a partnership and that their husband also does a lot around the house as well.
Etc. I’m 19 in college but I do want this life!
"I never pay for a date"
And she said this after aba turn her argument against her. Her smiling showed that it clicked, but she rather keep her pride and just "wants to be right". Woman like this sicken me.

Ya'll are great. This is why I subscribed. You make me laugh and you put everyone on blast for every little nonsensical thing that everyone worries about in today's society. Thank you for another pleasurable day! 👏👏👏
The phone situation had me crying hahaha
"You don't even value what's in front of you." Exactly. Truer words have never been spoken.
Preach is the most flamboyant straight man I’ve ever seen.
He just comfortable being himself 🤷🏾♂️
I think he was raised by mostly women, he has a wife though. Not every guy is some hardened tough guy walking around, men come in all kinds, same with women.
@@candideggplant1575 I mean preach did have a very active father figure too, not to mention when he was younger he got stuck in that "gang life", so I don't think it's just that.
Preach is just comfortable with his personality and sexuality and likes to make people laugh and be jolly.
He sounds like joseline hernandez
He laughs when people get jumped and assaulted, he dances for no reason, and he would definitely hook up with dudes if there weren't any women around
So glad i found you guys, thankyou.
Aba's facial expression had me rolling when he said "you look good? congratulations" too funny bruh lol
When I was single I would always show up to dates ready to pay . Didn’t expect for my date to pay for my food. If they payed for my food I’d give the tip and buy the drinks. Idk why all these women feel entitled to free shit. If didn’t have money I wouldn’t go to the date lol . I was just raised this way. My dad always told me “if you don’t have money to go out DONT GO OUT. STAY THE FUCK HOME” 🤣. I would show up to dates natural cus I didn’t want men to think I was cat fishing them lmao 😂
Wish more were like you. Dad taught me the same thing with money. Don't have it don't do stuff. And natural look is WAY better looking than layers of make up, fake nasty nails, and shit.
@@FreeWorldSpirit313 fake nasty nails = cardi b like nails. Them long ass nails 😂

Same sis!! I get looked at like I’m crazy for thinking that.
When I went out with a woman I had no problem paying and I did it because I wanted to not because she felt I was obligated to. But if she wanted to pay for herself I wasn't going to argue.
A woman expecting a man to pay for dinner is no different from a man expecting sex just because he's nice to a woman. Both reek of self entitlement.
I'm all for cleaning up for hygienic reasons, but civility, humbleness and fair treatment is a bare minimum and looking good should be a personal preference.
This is true. No comments from these losers saying that demanding sex is wrong.
Very true, which is exactly why I never accept a drink from a guy at a bar.

I love that aba didn't let her Run away from the question
You both have me dying of laughter over here. You are spot on guys! And Erichs character " I showed up" I had to rewind three times 😆😆
Love your videos
My boyfriend and I both joke about being each other's sugar mama/daddy or being a stay at home mom/dad if we have children. But the thing is, we understand the expectations of being the one who doesn't/can't support the family/relationship financially. And we both know the expectations and duties "staying at home" entails. You gotta actually support the relationship and household because you're not bringing in anything other than that.
All jokes aside, we've agreed an a two income household with the best effort in the family structure. Because, although not equal in monetary value/child rearing, we still have to bring fair effort to the table.
He should work. Man not supposed to be home all the time
