@@rg6982 top gear doesn’t do as well anymore in the states without those 3. They try and remake it with new hosts for American market every few years. It never lasts long. Clarkson, gamine, may, always the best by far.

When I was in my mid-40s, my mom just shoved all the stuff from my childhood into my hands and told me to get it out of her house. She's been gone 7 years and I haven't missed her one second. You are a lucky man.

for anyone curious about the bass, i did a bit of researching on it. it appears to be a custom-spec Status Shark, based on the pickguard design and the headstock logo you can more easily see in TG S20E1. i can find pictures of a 4 string model with specs almost matching this one, but i couldn't find an exact match.
He is correct about the felt and straw rule in Texas. The general rule is to wear felt in autumn and winter but wear straw in summer and spring. Yet, I have seen people do whatever they want to do. Carol Shelby wore a black Stetson all year long!
I don't think you mentioned it but I believe that helmet on the top right shelf in camouflage was worn in a particular show about 3 old men falling over, traveling from Iraq to Bethlehem and you were in a pretty little Fiat.

We need more horological videos from the three watch-nerds whom just also happen to like cars and gin, and found a way to make a career out of it together... Edit: That Rolex Sea-Dweller has a water resistance of 1200 meters, too bad it's heat resistance isn't as impressive... Still, what a great memorabilia from such a traumatic moment.
@@harry-eto yes, that would actually be a nice idea. I like his videos. But also, that's sort of like restoring Jimi Hendrix' burnt Stratocaster from Monterey in '67. The scars and scratches of the item is what makes it unique and part of its story. Restoring it would just take it back to be just another Rolex Sea-Dweller.

Would be a great thing for a channel like watch revival to restore it. There have been much worse ones brought back to life.
