Spearfishing For EXTREMELY RARE Species! | Lehi Catch And Cook

Howzit going everybody! In today's video I went diving with my friend Makana at one of my favorite spots. We started the dive with some 3-pronging before making it out to some deeper water, where I got extremely lucky and landed by far the most rare fish I have ever shot. Enjoy!

Congratulations!!! Identifying a Lehi is easy since its lower jaw is usually silver in color. Wahanui can come in lighter color variations but they wont have that bright lower jaw.

I use to fish commercially for deep sea bottom fish and Lehi isn’t rare, I caught them every year but to find one in the shallows where you can dive and actually spear one is rare.
