Artisan Pure is the most loved one in Brazil. It's unique, perfect for the weather. I got one, and I had a lot of compliments, got me a lot of datings :)
John Varvatos fragrances are amazing! I always get compliments when I wear Dark Rider or Artisan EDT. I really hope that John Varvatos stays in business.

Thank you for the recommendation - I ordered Artisan two days ago and it has just arrived. Very nice, fresh and full of citrus but it's not like having a lemon squeezed up your nose. Very nice for the summer, especially after 15-20 minutes when it settles it has a lovely cleanliness aura to it.
Just FYI John Varvatos was not born in Greece, he was born in the USA - his family came from Greece before he was born so he is first generation. Great designer and truly great fragrances, amazing. Thanks as always, Jeremy.
I own Artisan Pure and received two compliments from two different ladies in less then 2 min one from the other. I really enjoy Artisan Pure and it reacts extremely well on my skin. I get from 6 to 7 hrs longevity and after the 7 hr mark, I can still get whiffs of it. Highly recommended!

I just got the 125 ml bottle of artisan pure at tj max for like 20 bucks as a blind buy and I’m in love with it. I love unique scents. This is amazing and different and since Jeremy says most of JV fragrances are different I’m going to buy all the ones he recommended.
Artisan It’s smells really good..Very relaxing vibe ,feels like I’m in the farm of clementines and ginger next to each other To me it’s smells on the opening : •Fresh Clementines with Orange Blossom On dry down : Lavender with touch of ginger Smells very unique

Artisan pure is a gem of a fragrance. I made a blind buy and at first I did not like it much and thought it to be bitter but it grew on me slowly and now its one of my favorite fragrances. Trust me the longevity is good and it has got good amount of compliments although I do not give a lot of attention to compliments, it feels good. I have had quite a few asking me what I was wearing and they love it :)
Honest opinion on Artisan Pure I do like it, but I would probably not buy it again, because there are better spring/summer scents. It does not project very well on my skin, although it lasts pretty decent 6 hours, which is good for a citrus based. Don't blind buy it, because not everybody will like it directly. You need to get used to it, to appreciate it. AP is basically citrus in the opening and soap with a bit white floral creamieness in the mid until end. I did not get many compliments yet, although I am wearing it since march. I am sure some people will definitely like it, but you need to be into soapy fragrances for it. Rating: Bottle 9/10 Scent 7/10 Longevity 7/10 Projection 5/10 Price 9/10 If you need a good and affordable Soapy Floral Summer Fragrance with a niche smell, it will do it's job, it will freshen you up on hot days and you will smell clean af. I recommend trying before buying.
I went into a store to buy some Dior and as I was there I tried out the John Varvatos and I left only to return at the end of the day to buy the Varvatos too!! The Varvatos is amazing!

I have 30 fragrances and the only ones I have 2 back up bottles of are OG JV, Artisan, D&G Pour Homme, and D&G Light Blue. I consider these four fragrances my forever signature scents. It's becoming a bit more difficult to find my JV fragrances, but I still have my back up bottles.

I use 5 or 6 sprays. it projects on me around 2 hours considering my Ph is not that strong for fragances. it worths the price, specially if you love to wear leather jackets and hang around lounge clubs and/or bars, with rock n`roll vibe. great smell, I get compliments from women and guys who are my friends, give it a try!
Andrew Yes it lasts a while. My wife likes it and my friends compliment me every time I show up at their house. It is not specific for cold weather. You can dress for it too, like wear a black shirt and the smell will match your clothing. I can imagine it would go well on a black guy too, not just for head banger types. It’s like a leather, woodsy, whisky, black licorice type smell. Also get the Dark Rebel, not Rebel Rider version.

I like the brand. I have the Original, Vintage, Dark Rebel, Dark Rebel Rider, Artisan, Artisan Acqua, Artisan Blu, and Artisan Pure. Don't worry about the longevity because they are so inexpensive that respraying doesn't hurt the wallet and well worth it for the unique fragrances that they are.
I must of gotten the last of Artisan Pure on fragrancex...I order it after watching this video. It came in the mail yesterday! Dang, that was fast! I checked fragrancex and they’re out of Pure. And yesss! It smells so good 😊!
Their fragrances differ quite a lot. Hope they restructure their company and manage to somehow stay in business. That Brand is fantastic and masculine. Their original 'john varvatos' scent was my choice. It was truly Rock N Roll in that it did not try hard but simply smelled great. Thanks for this video.

Original John Varvatos was my go-to scent. It always upset me that it didn't last more than 2-3hrs. Amazing scent. They need to reformulate. Dark rebel can be retired, not a fan. John Varvatos needs to keep making fragrances.
Varvatos original and vintage are both my dumb reach frags despite having plenty of niche options it's the best value in my collection and the only two i can't get bored of for some reason. So sad Varvatos is in the 1% of designer brands who deserves to live on.
I got to try several of the John Varvatos Fragrances. John Varvatos, Artisan Blu, Artisan, Dark Rebel, Dark Rebel Rider. I really liked the Blu and the Artisan and wish I could have tried the Artisan pure. I will say that asking a few women what they think, the response for each has been ....its Ok or good but not great.

I love John Varvatos. I personally am obsessed with Dark Rebel. Dark Rebel is my Winter Signature scent. Pure is so good. Dark Rebel Rider is not bad. JVXNJ Crimson is really good. Just bought a bottle of artisan pure. I just wanted a clean smelling fragrance for maybe after a workout. The value is crazy on these. Knowing now they filed for bankruptcy I might go ahead and buy the other 2.

A lot of people have bought John Varvatos. Maybe they were selling too cheap? I've got Artisan Pure and it smells like a $200 fragrance

Just bought a bottle of artisan pure. I just wanted a clean smelling fragrance for maybe after a workout. The value is crazy on these. Knowing now they filed for bankruptcy I might go ahead and buy the other 2.
The artisan pure is citrusy and have a nice scent.. Have not tried the artisan.. Anyone have tried? How was it?

Jeremy a lot of people on amazon say that these smell very good but also have less lasting, very low persistence. You say instead long lasting, why?
