Most of these cheapies weren't cheap when they were fresh in the market. I remember paying more for them a few decades ago than what they cost now, which makes them great buys given they're not too watered down.
@@MoahGentle It looks like some of the JV fragrances are getting more pricey now as they're being hyped by some reviewers. I saw the prices on Artisan Pure going for more than $60.
Consider that Jeremy judges only the opening of these perfumes he is buying now, there is no word whatsoever about projection and general performance. He will never wear them so we’ll need to do our homework before wasting money
@@seekthetruths22 I got Artisan Pure for $75. Could have definitely gotten it for cheaper, but I'm happy with the colonge. I've gotten compliments every time I wear it.

Joop Homme performs extremly well even in hot humid ambiance of subcontinent. 3 sprays joop homme and 1 spray club denuit..aaahhhhh... and the reciprocal formula smells even better.. heavens man, heavens.

Legend Spirit is amazing! It last all day on my skin and projects well. It's not an offensive smell, rather a bright, light, clean, refined and welcoming smell. It is my everyday fragrance and a highly complimented fragrance as well. I disagree that it's a teenage smell.

After getting a Joop Homme as a gift from my cousin back in 1999, sticking to it till today. However, the fragrance of this one does not last long like the version I used in the late 90s back in my school days! I am from Bangladesh!

A woman's fragrance, in my top 2 favorites: Abercrombie & Fitch Away (woman). Smelling it puts the biggest smile on my face. Gets rid of my migraines, I immediately become optimistic. It made me look into other fragrances for more fun, and that led me to your vids. It makes me want to be a perfumer.
Two more to add to your list, CK OBSESSION for men, and Louis Cardin Sacred, both great smells and compliment getters
I had joop when i was much younger. Maybe I was too young for the joop scent mid 20's but I found it to be too dark and muggy for My taste. Heavy and potent, really sweet and dark. IDK if ill feel diffrent about it today at 40 but Ive always liked the natural scents over the synthetic, unless synthetic is refreshing and light with a good closing. Thank you always JF your the best man.
Try Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui! In my opinion better than Joop!!

A&F Fierce is my go to that I’ve been wearing for an everyday and on some black tie occasions too, for the past 15 years. It works great with my skin type, and it’s a continued hit for me that gets compliments every day of my life. Someone is always asking me “what are you wearing?” Ive been told it smells different on me. Idk??? But I rock it like a rock star and that’s why I continue to wear it. Yes- I have other fragrances...but Fierce has a special place in my heart.
I know what you mean. I wear Bulgari and cool waters and it smells totally different on my skin then in the bottle. So interesting.
Yeah man I LOVE Fierce as well, and Mont Blanc Legend. For me, they’re my everyday go to’s and no brainers and always get compliments

My dad bought some joop homme in the 80s and I found it sitting around and I said can I have this and he said yes and I took it out of the box put some on and It does last forever 19 hours easy
I love Tommy, great unique smell. Doesn’t last that long but when you first spray it, man it’s good. So cheap too, along with Paul Smith, both cheap but unique.
Joop is such a good fragrance for the cost, great longevity despite being reformulated. Much better for winter

Got some Joop last year for Christmas. Wasn’t a huge fan of the smell, was kind of too much, but for what it’s worth, it has a very long lasting scent.

My German mom bought me some cologne, a very old cologne brand called 'Tabac'. I liked it, but apparently no one else did. When I was stationed in Germany with the Army (worked out great, I could spend weekends with family) I stayed with an uncle and he noticed my bottle of 'Tabac'. He gave me a weird look and quietly told me that usually only old men wear the stuff. Point taken. I switched to Joop!, Drakar, and another one lots of ladies complimented called 'Raw Vanilla'. The original Joop! when first sprayed was like achieving olfactory critical mass and had a half-life rivaling plutonium.
yes Tabac smells wonderful i agree so dors Drakkar. both are great all, ages I think. try Habit Rouge, man that smells awesome!

Bähh. It smells very cheap, harsh. At the beginning like synthetic lemon cleaning products and to the end like a fireplace, in a very bad way. Cheap smell of burnt trees.

Cheap here in England can be associated with poor quality, better to class the fragrances as 'best value for money' [maybe the reason the companies where slightly annoyed when you branded them good cheap fragrances].
