@Boogie_the_cat Facts i have a vorteks a senton and a vendetta after about 2 weeks the diff broke and had to buy a metal one which havent broke and its been about a year and a half
He never put the body on the right 😂. You are supposed to slide there front underneath the front shock tower. But yeah, the body gets destroyed easily with a all those concrete upside down landings 😂😂😂
Energy absorption has been the challenge for these toy designers for decades. They're still struggling to keep up with the performance increases. Weight is the great balancing act because additional energy absorption results in increased weight which requires yet more energy absorption in all directions.
I really love how that body looks because of how much it resembles truck like the f450 which is one of my favorite trucks of all time, though the lack of durability is kinda dissappinting
to fix the drveshaft from popping out, place like a few centimeters of nitro tubing onto both front shock shafts. When you brake, your truck leans forward so hard that it makes the perfect angle for your driveshaft to pop out.
Just adjust the droop with the droop screw on the arm. Fixed mine from popping out. Best part is you don't have to take anything apart. Just lift the arm to access the screw on the bottom of the arm.
That RC car sounds like me, Kevin. My mom loves me, but my dad thought I was a lemon when I was a kid. He grew to love me and my major flaw when I grew out of it.
Thx Kevin, Nice vid. Suggestion: how about creating the “Talbot durability scale” where you give each unit a rating based on some of the objective measures that when all added up gives you the Talbot durability scale? I’d love to work with you on that as I’ve done this type of work professionally. Like the THX certification in the Home theatre world, imagine a RC truck with the Talbot durability certification…
I liked the bumper and suspension durability tests dropping off the balcony. Can we see the Xmaxx put through those tests too? it would be cool to see how it stacks up.
All they have to do is dimple dye these aluminum chassis. I put 4, 2 inch dimple dye in the chassis of my Kraton and it made an absolutely ASTRONOMICAL difference. In case you dont know, dimple dye are specifically designed to add structural integrity to flat pieces of metal. Not to look cool, even though it really does look cool as.
That RC car sounds like me, Kevin. My mom loves me, but my dad thought I was a lemon when I was a kid.😂 He grew to love me and my major flaw when I grew out of it. 😂
Nice work as always Kev. Good to see the gang again too. You shouldn't have to, but if you give that standard body the ole Kev Shoe Goo and webbing tape treatment, it might not break as easy. Very impressive chassis from Arrma though gotta say.
Put a little piece of fuel tubing on both sides of the drive shafts, it helps keep theem centered and hopefully they wont pop out so easy.. I've used this trick many times racing and I never had a driveshaft pop out but I raced all Losi, I can't speak for Arma, lol Yes I'm a bit of a Losi fan boy 😁 when it comes to racing that is.......
AWESOME BASH!!! ngl, I was worried when you hit the skatepark, but she performed like a champ! Arrma just keeps the hits coming!!!! Thanks for posting!
"aluminum chassis do have a habit bending when u bash them hard" Me: yea lets definitely drive my baja car at 100kmph into a rock over 5 feet while turning
2 years of bashing my 3s Big Rock, no cracks in the body.. 1 roll over in my 6s Big Rock and I have the same rip up the side of the windshield that Kev got at the beginning of this video. Wish I had done the old drywall tape and shoe goo or something. Got it gorilla taped up now and hasn't gotten worse yet..
I had a 3s for a really long time and it was a great truck. The big rock deserved an upgrade. I spent probably 800 bucks upgrading mine easily did 80 mph
Kevin-"do you want to win of one of my RC cars" Me-"no man i'm good, i've seen how you drive." The abuse that it survived was amazing. They got a winner their. I'm no arma fan but if looking for bash equipment, could you go wrong?
Pro-Line has the best tire glue i think. Plus its easy to use, iy comes with a few extra of the thin long flexible nozzles. But with those nozzles you can lay a bead of glue down evenly in a few steps around the whole wheel, as you lift up each section. The small bottle is still going for me after like 5 sets of tires later and i only got a new one because it was basically done and i was out of the nozzle pieces. Normally i wash them in hot water after and blow thru them and usually im able to reuse them and it keeps the bottle from getting clogged. Also make sure to keep the glue of the Bottle cap threads or itll get stuck
That thing is a beast, looked so stable taking all those bumps at high speed; almost like a trophy truck! EDIT: Are you ever going to review the Mammuth thing again? I haven't laughed that much at many YT videos!
Good fun and reviews . My only criticism is the constant use of battery impact drivers . Generally not needed and have a habit of ruining bolts and threads definitely not good for newbies to get into bad habits thinking that’s how it’s done and a trendy thing to have . Peeps just get a nice 1/4 socket set . And some proper screwdrivers please . 🙄
That front rear upper hinge pin is always the first part I change. It's about the only faulty suspension piece. I like on non exb models to upgrade a couple exb parts right away. The upper hinge pin retainers, make my own spacers, exb chassis braces, fill the diffs to my liking, and a exb servo mount with a better servo. That will get you started to a killer sesh!
Is Canada on earth? I think he said anywhere in the world. Granted he wasn't specific what world. I'm just willing to risk the assumption he meant our world.

Love the bashing videos
Yeah I like to
Kev ur awesome I'm in us would love one of ur rcs
What's the promo code
If it takes Kevin Talbot more than five minutes to destroy it then it will last me a few years.
@@Boogie_the_catbro it was a joke-

Last me forever probably lol

RC cars are enough to make a grown man enjoy his life.
Facts 💯
Amen
fact
And a good wife to approve of every rc car her husband buys.
Cheaper than a wife n kids 😂
3:12 While we are up here might as well test the bumpers 😂🤣😂 Kev is brutal 😁
Hilarious
He never put the body on the right 😂. You are supposed to slide there front underneath the front shock tower. But yeah, the body gets destroyed easily with a all those concrete upside down landings 😂😂😂
The fact that it didn't break when it landed on that back wheel is pretty impressive.
Energy absorption has been the challenge for these toy designers for decades.
They're still struggling to keep up with the performance increases.
Weight is the great balancing act because additional energy absorption results in increased weight which requires yet more energy absorption in all directions.
Nothing's better than a snow day and watching Kev
Exactly

Claire's level of fun is approximately 10 kilometers below the permafrost level :D 12:56
lol poor girl, she got good footage though.
Made the mistake of looking up one of the motorcycles he had on, now all my apps are advertising them... ahhhh😮
I really love how that body looks because of how much it resembles truck like the f450 which is one of my favorite trucks of all time, though the lack of durability is kinda dissappinting
For those of you in the U.K., we in America call that "trailer hitch" a.....fifth wheel!
to fix the drveshaft from popping out, place like a few centimeters of nitro tubing onto both front shock shafts. When you brake, your truck leans forward so hard that it makes the perfect angle for your driveshaft to pop out.
Or could you adjust the front springs/shocks so they’re stiffer? Would that work?
Just adjust the droop with the droop screw on the arm. Fixed mine from popping out. Best part is you don't have to take anything apart. Just lift the arm to access the screw on the bottom of the arm.
Do not use high speed gearing off road
Kev: TO THE MOON
It's not illegal so why not 😂
Everyone I see with RC's is around 40! It's like we all grew up in the 90's and said when I grow up I'm get the best RCs!
Honestly, I probably wouldn't watch this channel if you respected the rc's 😂 absolutely love it, good job mate!
Over 20 years ago when I first started bashing skateparks, I knew it would become popular. We need a league like monster jam
That RC car sounds like me, Kevin. My mom loves me, but my dad thought I was a lemon when I was a kid. He grew to love me and my major flaw when I grew out of it.
*launches an RC car 30 feet into the air and then: "Well, I guess this one is not so durable."
Thx Kevin, Nice vid. Suggestion: how about creating the “Talbot durability scale” where you give each unit a rating based on some of the objective measures that when all added up gives you the Talbot durability scale? Cool idea!
Cant wait for the chinese parody versions ;) tooboo scale tesded?...
No surprise you love the truck. I believe it’s basically what you turned your Fireteam into.
that extra length ofthe chassie seems to do good and keep the car from flipping and flopping on its roof.
Arrma red has grown on me, but a blacked out interior makes the nicer bodies stand out more.
Only kevin would be shocked that a plastic body would crack after jumping 15 feet in the air and landing direcrly on the fender.
In freezing temperatures no less
It cracked on the 1st tiny roll. But hey it’s your money if you’re happy having to keep buying bodies who am I to say
@KevinTalbotTV fair enough, thanks for taking time to reply. Keep up the content 👌🏾
I wonder what the cops are saying reviewing the CCTV footage and seeing a rc car fly by ahah (8:37) 😂
The balcony drop was EPIC HAHAH :D
Kevin them shoes. WHAT ARE THOSE 😂
I liked the bumper and suspension durability tests dropping off the balcony. Can we see the Xmaxx put through those tests too? it would be cool to see how it stacks up.
The Eskimo Pie eClaire looks angry!! 🤣
Been waiting for a Talbot Durability Test on this rig! Thank you sir for such great content! You have inspired me so much over the last couple years!
You are a real uplift when the world is in the dumps thanks for brightening my day.
All they have to do is dimple dye these aluminum chassis. I put 4, 2 inch dimple dye in the chassis of my Kraton and it made an absolutely ASTRONOMICAL difference. 1:38 "is that like the xmaxx body clips *tries to use the trailer hitch as a xmaxx body clip* " lol its a trailer hitch for a gooseneck trailer lol
Wait it had an actual hole in it?! It is actually a functional gooseneck trailer hitch for an rc lol!
That RC car sounds like me, Kevin. My mom loves me, but my dad thought I was a lemon when I was a kid.😂 He grew to love me and my major flaw when I grew out of it. 😂
Nice looking body. But a bad choice to put on a basher. Sorta makes it more expensive cus you'll maybe need another body for bashing.
I like the black, black looks great on most vehicles, your Lamborghini would look so sick in black.
That guy singing in the background is ruddy hillarious 😂😂😂
My dream is to have a channel at least as half as entertaining as you kevin. Keep it up.
Nice work as always Kev. Good to see the gang again too. You shouldn't have to, but if you give that standard body the ole Kev Shoe Goo and webbing tape treatment, it might not break as easy.
Very impressive chassis from Arrma though gotta say.
Bounced it off the roof 😂😂 saved the chassis from getting seriously bent 😂
I noticed on the first drop the front suspension seems to break but wasn’t mentioned lol
This video should be titled **What NOT to do with a 1000$+ RC**
Love your videos hahaha long time fan
Put a little piece of fuel tubing on both sides of the drive shafts, it helps keep theem centered and hopefully they wont pop out so easy.. Where do you put on the dog bone axle? Im just trying to picture what youre saying because id like to try it...
Thanks
I'll wait for the tough body version.
Hopefully arrma puts these on the crazy sale like they did on the fireteam for 399 last year fingers cross lol
8:30 That's one way to fix a bent chassis! 😳🤣
AWESOME BASH!!! ngl, I was worried when you hit the skatepark, but she performed like a champ! Arrma just keeps the hits coming!!!! Thanks for posting!
I can't wait to see your fix for the drive shaft popping out.
"aluminum chassis do have a habit bending when u bash them hard"

Loool bumper test,😂I'm really impressed by this truck to the level you took it, epic!😅😂
It can’t handle the Kev / Stemp duo.
I had a 3s for a really long time and it was a great truck. The big rock deserved an upgrade. I spent probably 800 bucks upgrading mine easily did 80 mph
“ It does have a weak spot”backflips into concrete skateboard jump at 63 mph😭

12:27 and that boys and girls is how the X-Rock was born 😂
KEV THE GOAT 🐐 ❤❤
RC cars when they realize it was Kevin that bought them: *tears* lol
They should make the bodies like the senton. Flexible
Now that I've had a 6s for a couple years , I can't go back .
great vid kev! what tire glue do you use?
Pro-Line has the best tire glue i think. Plus its easy to use, iy comes with a few extra of the thin long flexible nozzles. But with those nozzles you can lay a bead of glue down evenly in a few steps around the whole wheel, as you lift up each section.

Im so glad ive been watching these videos for so long. Keeps me getting more & more rc cars. Thanks Kevin 😂
The higher profile tire will give more grip off road but that truck is pretty amazing how tuff it is
YES NEW VIDEO! R.I.P Body Though 😂 love these kind of videos
10:53 PERFECT!
Can't wait for the Xmaxx ultimate video!
I always get anxiety when kev is durability testing rcs lol thanks kev.you do it so we don't have to.
I really like the Big Rock 6s but I'm going to wait for an EXB version. Hopefully they'll make an EXB version......
Wait til Proline comes out with a body for these. I know they got one for the Kraton. I’ve had mine for years and it still hasn’t split
Had Claire frozen solid in that seat 😂
Stempy is one of my favourite kind of people
That thing is a beast, looked so stable taking all those bumps at high speed; almost like a trophy truck!
EDIT: Are you ever going to review the Mammuth thing again? I haven't laughed that much at many YT videos!
😮 I'm surprised it took one hell of a beating😮
100% the Whistlingdiesel of RC. Love my Big block 😂
Just want to say thank you Kevin. You'll never know why but thank you ❤
Good fun and reviews . My only criticism is the constant use of battery impact drivers . Stempy! Even just a few seconds of him has me cracking up. 😆
Die Karosse taugt nich!!
"And while we're up here we might aswell test the bumper."
-Kev the menace
Very nice! but the body has cracked since you threw it from the balcony
Nice one Kevin, You certainly didn't hold back testing the durability on the 6s Bigrock. Every video I've seen it's one very tough and very fast RC.
I have the 3s Big Rock and I love it. When you pulled the 6s version out of the box, I really liked the color and body style.
That body looks amazing!!
I had a good laugh from this video. Thanks Kev. That thing took an absolutely beating. Just got the Grom to review, and so far it's pretty awesome.
Review for who ? Your 3 subs 😂
Best smoke effect ever!👌
Im feeling kev is gonna be the flaw finder with this truck
Hey Kev,just wondering what rc car would you recommend to a beginner?
Yo Kevin!!
Where is that pump track/park you are at? Looks ace!
Great video 🤙🏻
No better rc UA-camr then kev, love your vids
It looks like a solid hard Truck not too bad outside of the body
Still waiting for 1 mil special
Now this is an extra bash session...
the Traxxas was asserting his dominance
I like the black, the red is getting rather old. Really wish Arrma would offer other colors for their parts like another brand we all know does.
The handling looks good
That front rear upper hinge pin is always the first part I change.
These next generation Spektrum servos are actually super good. They switched to a more popular vendor and they've been working fantastic so far.
Beast, took it like a champ. Awesome bro 👊
8s in da house!!
You are the best RC analysts on
This is Awesome! I didn’t know there was a 6s version of the big rock! ❤
Haha this is where I come to get ideas and to know what rc is best! Side note can I win your contest if I’m in Canada?
Is Canada on earth? I think he said anywhere in the world. Granted he wasn't specific what world. I'm just willing to risk the assumption he meant our world.
I never had the body pop off like that. It does help if you land on the tires haha.
That’s when it pops off
I cant even aford one to drive around and you blow them apart like candy lol
