you need to Lube the sliding surface of the pads where they rub on the new clips you put on. You put the correct lube on so the pads can contract and retract as necessary to help prevent uneven pad wear.
Bro didn’t lubricate anything or brush off anything at all. It looked pretty clean so he’ll probably be fine but don’t be surprised if one pad locks up and the other gets ground to nothing.
Hey bud, thanks for the instructional video, but I think you got your rotors on backward. You can google the explanation for it. But other than that, great vid 👌🏽 pretty straight forward job. Hopefully, by now, you've figured out how to compress the pistons with a screwdriver/prybar before taking off the caliper the to make the job a little quicker 🤙🏽
Thanks Luis. These discs look directional but are not. I believe the directilnal part is the middle that fans out to catch more air. But these dont. They are straight in the middle.
Should I change both sides or the side that is bad? Will it hurt if I don't get the rotors turned? Does have a few grooves. But have to wait for the money a week or two. Thanks you make it look so easy. 😢 gonna do mine tomorrow, at least try😅 Thanks 🫡

I was about to think that it was impossible to change these pads until I watched this video. Thanks a million dude.
Glad I could help!
I usually apply some copper anti-seize between the clips and pads to avoid squeals
Also need to check, clean and lube the caliper pins. Check the caliper bin boots to make sure they are not damaged.
Yes or you'll be doing this again.

Great tip! Thanks Ron!

Bro, I was taking the whole damn caliper bracket off…. This is way better… thanks big dog!!! I love your forscan vids.

If only one side is bad you probably have a bad brake caliper. They should wear out similarly.
why didn’t you clean anything?
Do people really just swap out pads and not do rotors??
Yes. I've changed brake pads tons of times. But rotors only when they go bad.
The inner pads with the "bunny ears", I think they don't make that style anymore.
Do the fancy rotors really help with warpage? Can they be turned?
They can be turned. And they do help with heat. Which causes warpage
I thought you had to break the fluid line to retract the rotors then bleed the air out once done?
Not if you don't let any air in.
I draw fluid out from the reservoir with my finger over a soda straw.
What kind of brakes did you put on ceramic
Honestly, i dont remember, but i probably went with the most affordable ceramic brand from local autoparts store
no lube???
No need on ceramic

This is called brake slapping. Not the proper way to do brakes.
Lol... That's great. Thanks
Junk wheel spacers
Lol... they've been great... 4 years in.
Not the proper way.
The clamp or what part?
Always the niggas with no profile photo talking ab the right way
You need a new truck, a GMC Denali would be perfect
Maybe if he was experiencing some shrinkage in his sack area, he’s got a beautiful truck love those older f150s
Nice. Next time use old pad to push in both cylinders at once
Yes! Great add... but my c-clamp wasn't big enough
You can not get the c clamp in the center to push both. The plumbing is in the way on the back side .
Your tires balanced and aligned. Somethings off with that tire.
