If you still wanted to run spares on the trailer, you could make shelves on the underside of the deck towards the front of the trailer. Such a sweet trailer!
Brother you are a breath of freshness so tired of unboxing and useless reviews from people who are paid LoL i like you march to our own beat. Just awesome 💯😎
My first big trailer was made out of wood! Like you said, when you don't have access to a welder , don't refrain yourself and just make with what you can. Also wood is very cheap, lightweight and can hold a lot of weight. I could stand on it without breaking, without axles of course. Like your stuff. May the torque be with you
Just discovered your channel and I like it. I got into the hobby because my son's toy grade RC tractor broke down, and I found by making a new one with a custom frame and some electronics it became much better, we need more channels like yours were people build there things, instead of the unboxing RC videos. Greetings from Europe
On drilling those swing arms (if you’re using a drill press), stacking them and clamping or lightly tacking will allow all three holes be drilled in three moves. I’d love it if you put links, or at least a mention, of brand of the various parts and a source. It would be extremely helpful to us newbies to the hobby! Thanks for taking the time to film, edit & post these vids!
Was going to say yes it will work great. I absolutely use my harbor freight $150 welder no reason for an expensive setup unless you do welding for a living obviously LoL. These are toys no reason for a Lincoln or Miller to do this, but if you have the means then absolutely get what you want have fun keep going vroom vroom!!!
Better to over build, than have to fix it on the trail. The motorized landing gear and ramps is a nice touch. If you ever want to try putting wood decking on a trailer or truck bed, ask for the thin stickers sawmills put in bunks of lumber at your lumber yard of choice. They average 1 and a 1/4 to 1 and a 1/2 inch wide, 1/4 inch thick and are four feet long. Where I work they just end up in the trash, on the 10th scale stuff they look like 2x10 or 2x12 depending on their width. And just like real boards, they are not always straight for that added scale touch.
Thanks for sharing your ideas for a trailer I recently bought a 1/5 scale short course that I would love to have pull my 1/10 scale drag car around when I go racing
I'm not really into RC auto's because I do planes but I must say I really enjoyed your video and trailer project here. Your desire to keep it detailed yet simple is admiring and shows how taking time to think through a process and produce the best design will usually give results that work. Nice job and yes I did subscribe to the channel. Bill from Colorado
You are a true craftsman. I am amazed! Definitely got a thumbs up subscriber. I’m still pretty new to the RC world but this not only inspirational but just a joy to watch. Excellent build and video! Well done sir, well done! 👍
My CrossRC BC8 and trailer is also 200CM, I park a traction hobby Tank 300 and king kong rc lurker on there. That's a 1/8th scale crawler and 1/10 sherp swamp all terain vehicle. Haul my fast boat, recovery tug and lipo storage bag all at the same time. Saves me walking back and forth. Also hauled like a ton of carboard box waste to the container outside. But at some point I need to build a proper flatbed and probably a double deck or double wide or extra trailer to haul more at the same time. It would be nice to haul myself too🤣
Heck yeah man that trailer is amazin! I just built my own gooseneck and don’t have a welder. I used nuts and bolts to hold everything together and it seems really strong. Used similar axles but cut and widendee them to be 11.5 inches total. I used single wheels but did dual axles.
Just found your chanel and am instantly in love with it!! You have done all the work for me that i didnt want to haha you have found all the stuff to make this stuff work. Very nice looking builds cant wait to start a race trailer for our dirt car
Make fold down ramps for the truck (they don't have to be long) you can let them down onto the trailer and load the truck from the trailer ... just a suggestion/ideal
Another one with sliding ramps. When extending to end position the front of the ramps would have kick up to become level with the deck. Back in the day a screw jack was used to raise and lower wing tip sponsons on PBY's. Also, there is a decent ball hitch set out there. Thinking out loud. 🤔 What body is that? Cool. REALLY great stuff you got there! 👍
Hi I just come across you channel and I can say is great work and imagination, watching your work has given me some ideas for my 1/5 scale Chevy Silverado and baja buggy I may build a trailer to carry the baja buggy looking forward to watching more of yours videos
Thanks for the trailer build ideas, I’m building a Tonka tow truck from a couple of old dump trucks and when I’m done with that I want to build a trailer for it your ideas will come in handy. all the channels are used up on the tow truck but I was thinking maybe give the trailer it’s own tx/rx. I just subscribed so I’ll be watching your other videos
Very cool trailer 😎 I was goba ask what axles fo you use then I watched a little further in the video and you answered my question 🤣🤣 Good hands on building!!🤘
Yeah that is sweet dude, Yep triple axels where it’s at specially for that size of trailer. What a awesome trailer it’s going to be specially love the tow rig
Love these videos, please keep them coming, its gonna be a really sweet set up when you get done , I'm lazy I bought a single car trailer , I don't have time to build one with my work , again love your videos , keep up the good work, can't wait till the next one
love the parts your using. this is some next level stuff. Just a thought..............have you considered maybe scale wood floor on this massive trailer?
Or can make it out styrene as well my friend! ❤you should look into it ! I love welding myself you work in automotive field ? I’ve been body man for 20 plus year or Auto Body Tech hahaha! 😊
hey man, first of all i love the video. not boring and very informational. i dont personally need a video like this per se but i can appreciate it regardless. i will add that this is my first time watching, but you would probably do well with regulating the volume of your clips and music a little better. purely opinion but still love the video!
I'm about to build a trailer. If this is complicated, I'm in trouble. I want the tail to be "hydraulic" landing gear to work, a winch. And maybe "air ride" so I can drop it.
Its very impressive mate I really love your little garage setup and I would love to build that rc trailer myself but never welded anything what's the best welder in your mind to build an rc trailer myself so I can teach myself how to weld
Thank you very much!! I would say start with a flux core mig welder. No gas needed and you can find them at a decent price. That welder will be good to learn with and to build RC frames and trailers.
Can you go over the electronics for the trailer. The trailer looks awesome and I'd like to create one and I really liked your idea with the legs and ramp
It needs some small ramps so you can load by driving up the trailer and over to the truck bed so no disconnecting the trailer, are you putting pads on the support legs with bends front and rear of leg pad. Nice job, enjoying your content only one thing, when you go from backing music to talking the speech is too low or maybe the music is too loud during welding, I have to pause and sometimes rewind to catch what you say being a softly spoken guy.
Thank you I have been searching online everywhere I also had an idea for your ramps too but yours I liked better once I got through the video very cool 👍🏻
Thank you very much!!!
Get you 100%. Tinkering is my favorite part. Just trying things out, adding, adjusting 😊
Thanks for doing the conversion to metric on the number of RC’s 😂
Thank you for being the only one to point that part out!!! I thought it was too funny not to add that part haha

Would JB wield or some other epoxy work to join metal for RC use. Just a thought😊
You should be able to start letting people join. I for one would definitely contribute a few bucks a month to keep your awesome channel going.
Just subscribed. Awesome job. Love seeing the builds. Have you tried brake cleaner to remove the permanent marker
Just discovered your channel and I like it.

The truck and trailer look awesome, look forward to what you do next to it.

Love having these videos for motivation on a Friday I only have a hf Flux core welder so wonder if that'll work for this kind of stuff...great vid btw
It will work for sure. Just a bit more clean up but it will work perfect for RCs
Holy cow it's a behemoth! you couldn't make it nicer or cooler if you tried, waiting with baited breath for the next install keep up the good work👍
Hola. Te saludo desde 🇨🇱 donde voy aprendiendo de Uds. soy novato en el mundo de los RC. Muchas gracias por mostrar tu trabajo. Saludos.
Welcome to the hobby!! I'm glad I was able to be helpful!
Thanks for all the great ideas!! Built a boat trailer next is the car hauler.
So many others will be motivated by your video!……………………..thank you for your time!
great build and I appreciate the detail in the video - lots of explanation. Great work!
I used to galvanize electrical box.
To build a camper do on the back of my truck
Not an RC guy or a welder, but I enjoyed that, and now I'm a subscriber.

1/2” plywood makes an awesome trailer deck! Paint it and no one will ever know… lol

Well done sir, well done! 👍
Thank you very much!! I really do appreciate that!
This is so sick! I say do more stuff 'on camera'. Noone thinks its boring!
Awesome work, you are giving me some cool idea's. Can't wait for your other videos. Keep up the great work.
You do really nice work , thanks for sharing your progress and ideas
Man that is one nice trailer! Great work, and great ideas! Gave me a few for my next trailer build.
That's a sweet looking trailer...Would be sick with air ride...

once you get the whole setup done, a trip to canada may be in order. rcsparks would go crazy over this.
Heck yeah man that trailer is amazin! I just built my own gooseneck and don’t have a welder. I used nuts and bolts to hold everything together and it seems really strong. Used similar axles but cut and widendee them to be 11.5 inches total. I used single wheels but did dual axles.

Very nice looking builds cant wait to start a race trailer for our dirt car
How much would you charge for something like that
You should look into getting a tig welder because I think it will make your projects easier to weld. Homogeneous welding.
Make fold down ramps for the truck (they don't have to be long) you can let them down onto the trailer and load the truck from the trailer ... just a suggestion/ideal

REALLY great stuff you got there! 👍
do you sell those items
Just found your channel, first video I've watched and definitely sub worthy. Now to watch more. Great video!
Hi I just come across you channel and I can say is great work and imagination, watching your work has given me some ideas for my 1/5 scale Chevy Silverado and baja buggy I may build a trailer to carry the baja buggy looking forward to watching more of yours videos

The trailer will have its own battery and receiver for sure
I love the moment when just by converting units you list almost 8cm? 🤣 And that's 4 inches 😉 great biluild! Was fun to look
Yeah Beavertail, I’ve got a wood trailer for my boat, there’s a guy can’t think of his channel makes custom Boat trailers out of wood they are awesome
You can use rivets instead of welding...
Great stuff.. can't wait to see this all finished!
Dude this is so awesome!!!
Very cool trailer 😎 I was goba ask what axles fo you use then I watched a little further in the video and you answered my question 🤣🤣
Good hands on building!!🤘
i just found your channel & think it's awesome! Love the details on this trailer! Gonna be a cool rig!!
Yeah that is sweet dude, Yep triple axels where it’s at specially for that size of trailer. What a awesome trailer it’s going to be specially love the tow rig
So bad ass love the videos!!
Thats 1 sweet trailer man.. Love the attention to detail
I love your ideas good job 👏
I thought of something that might would work for the gooseneck hitch. A grease fitting (zert) and the fill tip from an old grease gun
Awesome channel ❤
Love these videos, please keep them coming, its gonna be a really sweet set up when you get done , I'm lazy I bought a single car trailer , I don't have time to build one with my work , again love your videos , keep up the good work, can't wait till the next one
awesome job sir thanks for that
Yes it is going to be so cool once finished up I’ll be watching for it
Great video, thank you
love the parts your using. this is some next level stuff. Just a thought..............have you considered maybe scale wood floor on this massive trailer?

I'M A NEW SUBSCRIBER. LOVED IT. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAD EVER THOUGHT ABOUT DOING 1/10th SCALE SLED FOR PULLING TRUCKS?
Awesome trailer build. Well done!!
For the legs put a nut behind them so they don’t fold out when you use the servo to put them up and down
hey man, first of all i love the video. not boring and very informational. i dont personally need a video like this per se but i can appreciate it regardless. i will add that this is my first time watching, but you would probably do well with regulating the volume of your clips and music a little better. purely opinion but still love the video!
For goose necks i have always used a greaseing nozle.
Wow that's a great job 😮 love it another project to add to the list 😂😂 like I really need another😂😂😂 thanks dude love it ❤
Great trailer💪😉
Did you make the cab of the truck out of metal as well? Sweet!
🔥🔥🔥🔥 great job
That looks awesome keep up the awesome videos
Awesome trailer, very good job mate, i hand made my rcs and acesories in steel, a hug and one more sub 👍💪😜👋
I'm about to build a trailer. If this is complicated, I'm in trouble. I want the tail to be "hydraulic" landing gear to work, a winch. And maybe "air ride" so I can drop it.
That is just outstanding dude
Its cool build bro ! Excellent im enjoy watching because its helpful Video 👍
awsome build man great video👌✌👍
subded👍💪
What kind of axles do you use for those trailers? Can you link to the Amazon ones you got?
You’re making a dove tail trailer and those little things, the braces are gussets. Lol
Feeling pedantic. Lol.😂
Technical could you post what actuator you used after looking at them they’re in so many different sizes? Thank you.
Im gonna be building a triple drop trailer for my 1/8th scale lmt.
Awesome awesome awesome build and video awesome
Can you go over the electronics for the trailer. The trailer looks awesome and I'd like to create one and I really liked your idea with the legs and ramp
I will for sure once I have all the parts and it is all hooked up
I'm still debating to build one or not.
Well I think you should hah
Just found your channel. This trailer is awesome. Where do you get the actuators and hydraulic cylinders?
I got them off of Amazon I believe. They were a bit hard to find and im hoping they will last.
Amazing!1
You say"Thanks for Watching" I say thanks for sharing, this is unbelievable!!!!
You should make it a spread axle.
Cool 😎 video I really enjoy it
Needs a winch for sure
Bad ass, dude! 😎👍
Go crazy
It needs some small ramps so you can load by driving up the trailer and over to the truck bed so no disconnecting the trailer, are you putting pads on the support legs with bends front and rear of leg pad.

Yes I will be putting pads on the legs for sure. And I am working on the sound quality. It is the one thing in my videos that I am not happy about.
should make a few and sell them!
👍👍👍
Cen raceing is the best for me and my dad
How much would it cost me to have you build one for me I need a dual wheel trailer that will haul at least one maybe two RC's scale 1 10
Unfortunately at this time I am not able to do build for others. I do all this building on the weekends when I am not at work.
Do you have a video of you build the goose neck
Unfortunately I do not. I built that trailer before I had the channel.
What kind of metal did you use ( measurements) and where did you get it ?
The frame metal is 1/2 inch square stock and you can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot in the hardware section. Home Depot is cheaper.
Thank you I have been searching online everywhere I also had an idea for your ramps too but yours I liked better once I got through the video very cool 👍🏻
Thank you very much!! I'm glad I could help.
19:22 19:22 19:22 19:22 😊😊😊
I would build them out of aluminum that's a lot of weight for a rc car
Just subscribe to your channel I also build my rigs and trailers
