The wheels I found myself using grease on a washer and semi-permeant lock tight on the lock nuts to avoid wheels being to lose or locking up and the locknut from falling off. How did you keep your wheels straight and spacing right?
A great trailer build video thanks. I'm halfway through my own design build. Your rocking centrally pivoting axial design is good. I'm keeping mine to 2 fixed axials to aid fore/aft stability of off centre loads....👍
Hey man cool trailer! I just made my own same style. But I'm having issues attaching wheels to the threaded axle. How did you do it? I'm using 1/4inch rod. So drill holes in my rims to make fit. But don't like how unstable the wheels are. I can't make the bolt to tight on wheels or the tires don't spin. ? Do you have any tips or advice? The wheels are too wobly for my liking
If you use nyloc nuts then place ss washers on each side of the wheel before snugging the nyloc nuts down your wheels won’t wobble. Add a tiny drop of oil and the wheels spin very freely. I just built two boat trailers and used this technique. It works. Cheers!
What did you use for the part that hooks up to the truck? I'm making my own trailer but idk what to use as the receiver I already have the hitch. It's for 1/18 scale
How did you fix your wheels so they'll actually roll after filming the video? as they are now the nut will either fall off if moving forward or lock if moving in reverse?? Thanks
Hello awesome build. I’m building a trailer similar to yours. The fenders you constructed. Did you make the angle iron out of flat stock. I haven’t seen angle stock in that dimension. Also what overall dimensions is the trailer. I think I’m making mine to wide. Thanks Alex
Thanks, I was thinking about making my own trailer. Found this really really helpful. Thanks. Also dropped a like. Can’t resist this perfection. Great job.
Schöner Trailer, danke fürs zeigen👍
Great video thank you! I just built two boat trailers and it was great fun.
Nice trailer! Could you list the parts you used? And where you got them?
Thanks for sharing the blue print

Yes they are rolling :) I used ball bearings instead of wheel hex and washers between the wheel and the wheel nuts.
Thank you this is so bad ass I’m going to make one today
