i find it so beautiful that wheein and hwasa promised to make appearances in each others first ever solo mvs , their friendship is truly something beautiful , they definitely have a soulmate connection , also wheeins vocals are killer and i can’t wait for her upcoming solo😂i hope she gives of some nice r&b bops
Easy was one of the most underrated songs of 2018. The MV is packed with visual gags so it's worth re-watching to figure them out. The big clue that there are more puns and underlying meanings to the images in the MV is the scene where she unleashes the rocket fist and blows a hole in his chest. Translation: "I can see right through you." and/or "There's a hole where your heart should be." Some of the others include relationship cliches like There's a wall between us and We're headed in opposite directions, along with the obvious Do you need glasses? joke because he doesn't see, know or value who she really is. Seeing = Knowing in the MV, starting with the line that begins the song, "You don't know me," as Sherlock Wheein investigates their relationship and looks under the surface of things (Looking under the table, where she finds nothing).
I feel like she is such an underrated artist, I don't see a lot of people checking her out 😭😭 this song is amazing Also, that haircut? 👌👌 Thank you for the video, Lok! Take care, love ya! ❤️❤️
This Wheein is in the God tier. 🥰 I'm so excited about her upcoming solo! Her covers in 2020 kept us fed but I want to see what she will do for her original songs. The bonus to new Wheein solos is new Wheein choreography and I think I might be even more excited for that. She's been killing the stages for the Travel era with a greater focus on performance and stage presence. Did you hear Solar's OST Blue Bird? It's different from anything she's done before and I'm in love with how she does her vocals. Solar is rarely challenged vocally and Blue Bird brings out this raw, emotional depth that is just beautiful.
while all four members of mamamoo absolutely love r&b, wheein is the biggest fan of the bunch. and her voice suits it so, so well. many people are used to her ballads because, lets be honest, she owns those... just like you said, she nails absolutely anything thrown her way. funny enough, wheein isn't really a fan of ballads and used to actually hate them, though she's gotten better about that of late. even when she hated them, though, she did a fair few because ballads absolutely love her. her ballads tend to do extremely well on the charts even though she's never promoted any of her solo work. (that's changing with the upcoming album, though. she's already promised promotions for it). but her non-ballad music tends to not even be noticed, which is exceptionally sad. i swear there are even moomoos that don't know "easy" exists and yeah, that hwasa cameo... i see someone else mentioned it, but early on, wheein and hwasa had promised to star each other in their solo debuts and with wheein's "easy" and hwasa's "twit" they managed exactly that. the two songs can also be considered opposite sides of the same coin, as well, considering their subject matter not a lot of choreo in this mv, sadly, but there's behind the scenes of wheein and the two dancers doing a lot of work on it. i forget the name of the troupe the two dancers were from, but wheein was the first idol they ever worked with. one of them has since become a choreographer at one of the big three agencies, as well, which is crazy to think about. she's also come back to dance with wheein, being part of her personal dance crew for the "be like me" dance cover she released on her birthday last year many fans are hoping the upcoming album's title track will be heavily dance focused so the world can finally realize just how good a dancer wheein is, since she's constantly left out of any of the 'best dancer' things in kpop (moonbyul is, too, but she's been getting a slight bit of acknowledgement occasionally. very slight). oddly enough, wheein also tends to get left out of the 'best vocalist' things as well, almost like people purposefully try to ignore that mamamoo even exists. as for your comments on wheein being one of the best vocalists out of korea, she's actually been in a top five vocalists list created by the general korean public and is the only idol that made it onto that list, so the public is well away of her vocals. it's one of the reasons her ballads are always such hits, people are wanting to be transported away by her ethereal voice that evokes emotions so effortlessly while also soothing and healing your soul
"wheein isn't really a fan of ballads and used to actually hate them" this proves that a lie will become the truth when enough people repeat it. if she hated ballads she wouldn't sing them. in Dindin radio show she said she likes singing ballads, and that's why she has so many. then Dindin said he wants her to do a ballad album and she said she'd love to. her non-ballad music tends to not even be noticed cause she doesn't appeal to the masses. the masses want artists like IU, Taeyeon, Heize, Rose, Lisa, CL, etc. it is what it is and we can't do anything about it cause the masses decide and you can't change this. you even say that not even Moomoo know Easy exists. imagine people that are not Moomoo. being good is not enough to appeal to the masses. when i say masses i mean big audience. Wheein lacks sales, views, etc to get nominated for "best dancer" and "best vocalist". Rose's On The Ground has 300+ million views just on youtube. that's why she was nominated for Best Dance Performance in MAMA 2021. Lisa made 75+ million views in 1 day and she is the 1st female singer in history of Kpop that did this so she was nominated for Best Female Artist cause she was eligible to get nominated. if she's in a top five vocalists list created by the general korean public then why she's not nominated for awards as soloist like IU, Taeyeon, etc? IU is not on that list and yet look how many awards, number 1 songs in charts she has, etc as soloist. in 2021 IU was even in top 10 in Worldwide Fan's Choice in MAMA and she is a soloist and not a member of a group that does a solo project. btw, i'm a fan of her so don't take what i said as hate or whatever. when i say these things i say it being 100% neutral and unbiased and it's my observation based on what i see. it's not that hard to figure out why Stray Kids are so popular(in MAMA Worldwide Fan's Choice they get like 20ish% of votes). all you have to do is watch a few videos and you'll figure out why. they appeal to the masses. that's why.

Wheein is my ult ult bias🥺🥺 I hope she can make her solo comeback soon🥰
