Yes we've managed to create an assortment of different style houses. We don't have a particular era that we stick to really. I'll mention to John about doing his own video, but don't hold your breath 😁 or maybe he'll surprise us all 😁

I did a miniature show and was surprised that the people most interested in my work were men and boys. It makes sense. They are traditionally the model makers. Some were also building contractors who thought building a dollhouse would be so easy! They soon realized they needed a plan B for getting their big paws into small spaces.
Yes a lot of people think that because something is small, it must be easy to build! Certainly not the case in my experience. You have to work slowly, you can't just throw bits of wood around. And it has to be so precise in measurements or it shows! Some of the stuff I've made have needed tweezers at some point because the bits are too small to hold 😁

@@Multiverse10X hi there, thank you for watching 🙏 very kind of you. The world of miniatures is a huge world really! It's so diverse, and there are so many trade skills that we learn. I always describe it as a drug, because it's nothing less than an addiction for me 😁 I think in miniature all the time, constantly looking at architecture and translating it into 1:12 scale.
I also, as you know, love working with ceramics, and make my own designs. In more recent videos I've started putting a link to my Etsy shop in the description boxes below, but here is the link so you can go take a peek at my work. I ship around the UK of course, but many ship to the States too. I have an older Etsy shop where I did a lot of bag making etc and started to put my vases on too, but recently I realised you can have more than one shop, so this is the link to the new shop where everything will just contain things dollshouse connected 😁

Ok. Sorry for a second comment. You 2 lovely folks are just so talented! As we wandered through the beautiful homes I believe you should create some ceramic chamber pots for some of the bedrooms. You are one of the only creator’s that have that talent in your back pocket. I collect full size ones and use them for pet water bowls etc. the talent and level of detail you both have is amazing!!!!

I love your boho house!!! I love the Tudor house!!! Compliments to John. Looks very historically accurate to me! The kitchen looks amazing. My spouse and I have a background in theater production design, and we think it looks great. Artistic license is allowed anyway! One suggestion. Go over your gold/brass candelabra to look like brushed pewter. Maybe that’s already planned. I see some other pewter in the house, I think.
I told John about the candlestick and he said he'd just put them in there at the time for something to add. But he'd already thought that they looked to née and didn't go perfectly! So at some point he will probably do something with them 😊🙏
Dying laughing. I have officially seen it all. Reminds me a little of our yearly ginger bread house. It’s called The Nutcracker, and it’s a strip club.

Wow! Love the houses especially the Tudor. So different. I agree ,Nigel or dog needed in each house. Now need Victorian with lots of colors, collections, and fabrics.
Yes hopefully one day we will have a Victorian with all the trimmings!

Hi Chris, the dollshouse shop I mentioned is called Teeny Weeny World. Their shop is in the Malthouse Arcade in Hythe, Kent and post code is CT21 5BW. They are only open on Fridays & Saturdays. A lovely couple, Hazel is very helpful too 😁 hope this helps your friend if they are in that area 🙏

Delighted to have gone on the tour . You and John add so many lovely little touches and I especially liked to see Beatrice Potter's Peter Rabbit hanging on the child's bedroom wall . Miss Potter is very near and dear to my heart as I tried to copy her when I started to dabble in water colours at about 8 years of age . Her children's books may not be as popular as they once were but i still love them when I have a little person to read to . You have great talent and you put out really delightful videos . @@marriannehamilton2485 ok, so I thought this might be a problem to suit my customers, as I've worked out...I have folk from -4hrs to -8hrs. And then you are +10hrs lol. Sounds silly, but I have to do my work in the conservatory and we don't have proper lighting in it for working in the evening. So I work in daylight hours only. So my best time to accommodate the majority would be around 4 or 5pm my time. The light is starting to go now by 6ish 🙁 but that means it would be around 3am your time! 😴🙁🙁🙁 Maybe after the first one (I'll have to do a suitable time for most in order to try and make it a positive streaming) then if all goes well and I do more, I can regulate the time to suit your part of the world 😁🙏
Although I would probably not make a brothel, we have really enjoyed seeing this one, with the funeral parlor adding an extra joke.
But I must comment on all the work you both have done, and I am extremely impressed that you have made so many of the items.
Hehe yes the brothel was quite unique and probably not to everyone's taste! But I love making miniatures and always thinking of new things to do and make
