I just picked up my blue dial Pelagos this afternoon and I love it!
The color, the comfort and the fit on my 7.5" wrist, it's all very good. I have a black BB58, which I also love. Tudor rocks!

I adore the blue dial. Wear it in good health. How are you two getting along? I almost pulled the trigger today on another pelly .. yes i am crazy .. I would love for Tudor to make them in SS, though I think that may pinch a few sub sales which is probably why they dont do it. I would also like to see the new T-Fit clasp on the 39mm on the 42mm. The current bracelet extension system I dont really love, I prefer the Rolex glide lock. Still, banging watch all the same. For the cash its tough to beat.

About a year ago, I was deciding between the omega SMP 300 and this. Ultimately went with the Pelagos, the clasp sold it for me. Amazingly engineered and highly functional.

Fingers crossed for a 40mm Pelagos 😁 the Pelagos is an absolute gem, I think I can safely say it's my favorite watch of all my Tudors and even all my watches! It's just such a unique experience even after 4.5 years. The matte finish, ultra legibility, titanium feel, and the clasp come together to make such a unique experience. In the end to get the Pelagos experience you just need a Pelagos, it's that good!

Agreed 👍 the Pelagos either version has it's own identity and it's not trying to look like something else. Unlike the the Black bay and I really don't like the faux riveted bracelet 😕 just a tacky unessarsary decoration that needs to be retired. Even if you don't notice them. Just knowing they are there and faux annoys me. If Tudor really wants the vintage experience just make a real riveted bracelet.

That’s my daily watch, perfect on NATO strap, comfortable, legible, light on the wrist, extremely accurate, reliable and built like a tank. The titanium scratches easily but it doesn’t impact its function or durability. I just don’t mind a few scratches anymore. And the deep blue on the dial and bezel… just beautiful to look at…

hello! just acquired one. where did you find the NATO strap for it. AD's dont have it, and Tudor's website doesn't offer it. any place you'd recommend. Bracelet is great, but I don't wanna risk scratching it as this will be my everyday watch. Thx.

For an every day watch that can handle almost anything I cannot recommend this watch enough. My Pelagos is the left had drive version and so has a slight yellow tinge to the plots and hands but still looks and definitely feels modern. If I'm going anywhere where I do not know what the day will throw at me it is one of my go to watches, it also feels like those comfortable pair of shoes. Super readable and comfortable. I did try the new FXD earlier this week and have to say that I was very tempted, I was wearing my Pelegos on that visit to the AD but felt a big difference in comfort in favour of my watch. I'm still very tempted by the MN FXD at some point.

I've had this watch for 4 years - it's the most enjoyable to look at. The clean, easy to read, cheery dial. It's great on a strap or bracelet. I think they nailed the design. I just feel good when I wear it. Slightly oversized - just fits this watch. Go big or go home. This is from someone with a 6.5 inch relatively flat wrist.

The Pelagos blue is my daily wear and my “beater”. Phenomenal timepiece with accurate & robust movement. I have this tool watch on a Rubber B tropical strap and it’s a pleasure to wear. Wears slightly smaller…
My Sea Dwellers (16600 & 116600) wear similar due to the weight. I’m not a fan of the cyclops & this Tudor is outstanding

      Whaaaaaat…….
You mean you actually wear a divers watch diving? I thought I was mad wearing my watches helming boats, but diving, in the water… you’re very brave sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just in case you hadn’t realised, this is just British pub humour (aka general pi*s taking) no harm meant.

I have the black Pelagos and absolutely love it - there's no diver I'd rather have. Also, the included rubber strap that integrates with the endlinks makes for possibly an even better look than the bracelet, though less functional.

Thanks for making this video Jenni I was so happy to see it! I have had a Pelagos Blue since they were released and I do love it dearly. Not only is it truly unique in the watchmaking world (literally no other watch exists in this world that has the same combination of looks and features), but it is truly a beautiful tank of watch that feels indestructible and light and you barely notice it on your wrist due to the ingenious spring-loaded bracelet (why don't other watches have this?). When I look at it, it reminds me of both deep blue oceans and snow-capped peaks against an azure sky. PS: 7 inch wrist here and it looks great!

I have been into watches for about a year now. I don’t own anything “luxury”. My Hamilton khaki and my Laco Aachen are the most expensive watches I own. But, I have seen a few of these Pelagos’ with my own 2 eyes, and have to say… in my opinion it is the most striking and beautiful watch I have ever seen. The matte blue Tudor uses in contrast with the stark white hands and dial markings in contrast with that brushed titanium… it’s amazing. This watch is for sure a grail piece for me, if and when I ever get to that value of collecting.

Excellent review Jenni! For my 160mm wrist I found the Pelagos just a bit much and I went with a blue BB58 that suits me really well, just a Goldilocks watch for me. That said, the no-nonsense character of the Pelagos is very appealing and for those who can rock it, it's a cracking good piece. Some here with a bit bigger wrist who have one and love it : great choice and enjoy! There's really nothing else like it, or to touch it for the price.

Been started on collecting watch couples years ago, during this earlier journey, its more on experiencing different kind of watches, from diver to dress, from vintage to modern sizing, from heritage inspired to the total new design watches. Some watch come and go, some I like it but just doesn't always wear it, but Pelagos is kind of a different thing- is the watch that even I'm a small wrist er just having much enjoyment with, and always want to pick it up more than all the others watches, despite the big size, busy 5 liner that people taking negative about, it just have so much charm from it. it is the watch that I love and always wanted to wear on the wrist with smile

I’ve been wearing my blue Tudor Pelagos every day for the past two years and I’m extremely impressed by its scratch resistance. The titanium still looks as if I’ve never worn the watch. I’ve yet to change out the titanium bracelet for the synthetic one. And I might add that I’m still only losing approximately 1 1/2 seconds per day. Much better than my Date Just, which has been relegated to spending time on a watch winder.

For the record, the BEZEL is 42mm. The case is 41mm. Go with the 2-liner if you want a thinner case. I also would call the rubber strap "free". At ~$5K, it's simply "included".

1/ the five lines on text on the dial. do i really need to know thats it a self wind rotor?
2/ the divers extension sticks out from the clasp. dont know if its my sizing or if others are expereincing the same.

Nice to see this review Jenni! The Pelagos LHD is the favorite in my collection. A functional tool watch brute in a tuxedo. Love the dial. The chunky boy aspect is part of its charm. I’d say on smaller wrists it would work better on the included rubber strap? Also- although superficial scratches might “show” a bit more, the titanium is nigh indestructible. The movement on mine hovers between -2/+2 sec/day. This watch isn’t going to many formal occasions, but as an everyday and adventure companion it’s on point.

I have an OG black 2-liner and it’s one of my favorite watches. I love it just as much as my Hulk or Explorer II. It’s a very “honest” watch. It’s not blingy in any way. It’s super light weight and insanely comfortable. It does it’s job incredibly well (INSANE lume, much better bezel than BB… overhang makes it very easy to turn). You can buff out scratches just as easily as on a SS watch (use a brilo bad with fine grain). Can’t recommend this watch enough. I don’t mind that it’s 42mm, but I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be interested in a 40mm version. But if I had to choose between a BB58 or Pelagos, I’d go Pelagos hands down (if it isn’t my only watch). If I could only have one, I guess the BB58 would be the smarter buy because it’s slightly more versatile (the Pelagos is unapologetically a tool watch). Don’t buy this if you want props from anyone. It’s a Tudor so only watch nerds will know what it is and the BB gets more love. But if YOU like how it looks, I say go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

Ha, I misread tudor website about the case being titanium and SS. What I am most interest about is that clasp, when it's on the spring setting does it really auto adjust to a swelling wrist to be comfortable all day? Personally for me my next buy is going to hinge on the on-the-fly adjustability of the casp.

It's a great watch. It gets fine scratches more easily than a steel model but it's a tool watch. It's supposed to get some patina of wear. It's fun to wear & the bracelet and clasp feel well designed and comfortable. This and the North Flag are my 2 favourite Tudor's. It wears nicely on smaller wrists. Its a stunning watch. Getting up close and personal with one the quality stands out even more than the Black Bay. I've had mine a while and with full links it weighs pretty much the same as everything else I own. And so far besides not babying it, I've yet to mark it.

You forgot to mention the Helium escape valve 😉. No big deal for many maybe but reinforces the fact that this is a proper tool watch. I also like the Matt finish all round. Might make more sense deep in the ocean compared with all glittery competitors out there in my opinion.

I am a leftie, so I went with a Pelagos LHD as a casual weekend watch. My wrist is 170mm, so I feel it fits quite nicely. Watch is sturdy and well-built, although does not feel as luxurious as my other pieces (I also own a Breguet Type XXI, Rolex Datejust 41 and Ulysse Nardin Dual Time). However, unless you’re a fan of Omega Seamaster 300 (which I am respectfully not), there is quite limited competition at the price point. I considered the omega planet ocean as a possible alternative, but the looks I liked were about twice more expensive than Tudor

My recent purchase is the Pelagos FXD, at first I was worrying about if I’m gonna regret buying it. But the titanium matte finishing case, blue coarse pattern matte dial with the very clean crisp white index, matching the very sexy matte finish ceramic bezel, all edges are sharp from crazy machinery finishing but not cutting your finger sharp, and the heavily military base backing it up….I don’t even wear my 214270 anymore 😂

The Pelagos should get more love than it does. For me, I’d be hard pressed to buy it ahead of the BB Pepsi GMT so maybe Tudor should just drop the GMT movement into the Pelagos and “voila!”

Try it on your wrist. You will know if you like it or not immediately. My small wrist can handle the 43mm Navitimer and the chunky 40mm Sea Dweller. Pelagos is basically a combination of the two which felt massive despite the light weight.

I've had my Blue Pelagos for almost three years now. It was the most heavily considered decision I've made since college and the military 😂. The longer you own it, the more you discover about it (I hope you know what I mean). It fits my lifestyle perfectly, and is such a gorgeous piece.

I've owned a blue Pelagos for a year and am really happy with it. Sized for my 185 mm wrist (7-1/4 inches), the watch weighs 142 grams. This is about 30 grams less than my Black Bay GMT on bracelet or my Seamaster Diver 300M. My one complaint is that the Pelagos bracelet is a hair-puller, so if you are hirsute in nature, this watch can be irritating to wear. I usually wear mine on the OEM rubber strap (105 grams) or an Erika's MN strap (99 grams) for a comfortable fit. The tone of the blue is just a joy to behold and it's a fun summer color to wear.
And like Jenni, my Apple Watch is on my right wrist, with my traditional watch on the left.

By far my favorite diver watch. Got one used for $2,200 because it had small scratches on the bracelet and clasp. I used one of those green brilo pads for cleaning dishes to smooth it out perfectly and keep the brushed look. Scratches gone. This watch has been in deserts, the ocean, river diving, camping, hikes and mountain climbing. Been banged around constantly and still looks and functions great. It's extremely durable and robust. Wears well on a NATO strap. This is one of those luxury watches you don't feel the need to baby.

Hey Jenni, really like your reviews/videos, we have been watching for quite a while, great work. l have a question regarding the Pelagos, someone else might be able to comment as well. I have watched the video several times and wondering if it is just me or are the indices at 10 and 11 o'clock position way off/twisted that are sitting in the recesses in the chapter ring, as well at the 12 o'clock marker? At $6450 Australian dollars that does not seem acceptable at all!

My favorite daily watch om NATO strap, used it for 3 years given its rugged built, however now in its 4th year the -2 sec a day, turned to 12 seconds, and of the 70 hours power reserve is only 12 hrs left. Checked at the AD, they will fix it for €500! So it back to Casio.
