Baluch people are screwed no matter they are part of Pakistan or if a new country of Pashtunistan comes into existence. The option for them to be on their own is not on the table. Even if the failed and broken state of Pakistan gives up on Baluchistan and set it free -- Iran and Afghanistan will not allow an independent Baluchistan in the region, they will annex the territory or favor a Pashtunistan state with Baluchistan as part of it.

Lets face it: Pakistan deserves it. Its not schadenfreude, its a realistic judgment of things. They did support Terrorists by hosting them and treating them bad. Taliban were guests in Pakistan, but they weren't well treated by Pakistanis. They harbor that anger.
Now, for Afghanistan Pakistan is the strategic depth, not the other way around. Taliban are taking revenge on how some of them were treated.

Pakistan considered Afghanistan as part of its strategic depth in case of any conflict with India. Now Taliban have become a bigger threat to sovereignty of Pakistan than India ever was. Taliban and their client TTP want to break up and split Pakistan into two halves... liberate KPK and Baluchistan and form a new country in the region.

India should send its army units to the LAC / international border with Pakistan.Thus Pakistan Army would have to tie down a large chunk on its Indian border. This tactical move would help TTP .
When China attacked India in Ladakh in 2020 , Pakistan mobilised its Army units to LAC in POK to help the Chinese . Chinese air force 's fighter jets were using Skardu air base near Kargil in POK .

Good podcast for the issue it addresses and the evidence to support the narration. However, the attempt of Shekhar to balance it out viz-a-viz India at the end is shoddy work and unconvincing at best. Time has come for Pakistan to state that it gives up the Kashmir dispute. Then the issue which arises is whether, India is willing to absorb PoK unconditionally? What are the consequences? What are the options on this eventuality occurring?
If you take back POK what do you with people there. It would become a big headache for us to handle them, even though the territory would be ours.
