Most people would freak out out in your spider room but for me who suffers from depression and anxiety this would be a calm of the storm within my head, I only wish one day I could obtain the patience and magical touch you have with them
Keep working on it you will get there my friend ❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties thank you Dave for the joy and inspiration you have given me and your lovely words within your reply. Your notifications on your video uploads brings me a sense of happiness even if for a short while. You are a hero to me who loves this hobby and to many more
All the best
@@Lee2k4 ❤️❤️❤️
Great spider. Thanks for showing the lows as well as the highs, it is good to see the reality of keeping and breeding spiders.
Its not always plain sailing 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties it certainly keeps it interesting
I've always been scared of spiders. Watching you has interested me but it also educated me. For that, I thank you!
Your very welcome and thanks for watching❤️👍
My sentiments too, Travis 👍
Only came across this channel recently but I love how informative and undramatic you are
Dave I just picked up 3 of these Tarantulas! Thank you so much for your videos. You’ve given me confidence and inspiration in our hobby. Thanks again. Big fan from the USA California from a small town called Selma
Welcome my friend and you will have fun as they grow 👍
Would love to see an outtake video. How Mrs. Camera lady holds her composure is amazing to me.
There is hardly ever any editing in our videos what you see is how it happens 😂😂👍
Very cool....I really like that enclosure
Thanks 👍
She's so beautiful! I know it's what's best, but it always breaks my heart seeing them try SO hard to keep their babies safe :( Such great mommas
awww poor momma had a rough day :( So sorry to hear about the egg sac
She was very protective even though the egg sac was not good. She was very good. Yes she is very pretty.
Gorgeous spider! You're the one who got me hooked on them! I never disliked spiders, but I keep reptiles and am more used to their care. Seeing your pairing videos, and realizing how fascinating they actually are, got me fascinated. A coworker was moving last week and gave me my first T, an adult female G. Rosea, for free! Fell in love immediately and within two days, now own two little slings as well; an Avic Avic and Caribena Versicolor! I'm absolutely adore them!
Welcome you wont regret having them ❤️👍
The more of these videos I watch, the more I want to get a spider. She is a beautiful animal.
Go for it mate 👍
Hi Mike! All ov Dave's spiders are stunning arent they. This hobby is addictive by the way. I bought my first tarantula in Feb of this year. Its June now and currently have 16 and 2 more are being delivered tomorrow. See? A wonderful and delightful addiction. You'll love it.
She’s so fluffy. Beautiful spider.
Hello Dave & hello to your wonderful camera assistant too!😊 I agree, a very underrated tarantula. Your gal is gorgeous! Your enclosures also compliment the beauty of the spider & everything is pleasing to the eyes, even if the spider is hiding away. Thanks for sharing the journey with us. I'm sorry it wasn't what you were hoping for in the end but like you said yourself, these things happen (even in the wild) & ya just gotta try again. I hope you have a great day!
Thanks Amanda yes will try again once she has moulted out again 👍
One of my favourite spiders! Totally underrated
I have watched a lot of UA-cam and lots of different content but I think yours is the first channel that I actually can't hardly wait for an upload! Excellent as always!
Your making me blush 🥰
magical colourful spider, another fine video to add to the collection PROFF, that's nature and how things go with the sacks and eggs. camera lady another fine video, many thanks for sharing
Cheers matey 👍
I don't like spiders, but I respect them and enjoy learning about them. She is nice looking, a blonde bombshell
Had to stop at @11:25 and look at those MASSIVE fangs on her! Wow! Beautiful girl.
Brilliant video Dave, brilliant rehouse and a stunning species and a super job by yourself and camera lady.
Hello great video rehousing Dave
shame no babies but a lovely T to buddy. loved the swap with the brush she was like awww shiny lol
Psalmopeos is by far my favourite genus. They're all beautiful, feisty, great eaters, surprisingly easy to keep and they grow like cabbage.
Omg she is beautiful! And that security on her egg sack never seen that before
❤ the enclosure and beautiful tarantula
Jackson OHIO, Hi Dave and camera assistant, She's a gorgeous!, Little web weaving engineer, making sure her babies were safe. Sorry, she didn't have any. Take care.
Amazing rehouse vid,100% perfect!
Another great vid and what a Classy spider in her new crib ...
The P. pulcher actually was my very first tarantula. I absolutely love her, she’s showing off quiet often but indeed is very skittish :D
Her fangs were huge!!
Hi Dave and Camera Lady! Oh my, she is stunning isn't she. Sorry about the babies. They would have been lovely.
I bought two more T's, a Grammastola porteri and a Tliltcotl vagans. They arrive on Wednesday. My Aphonapelma chalcodes molted a few days ago and her colors are so vibrant. Im loving my tarantulas their personalities are so varied and amusing to watch. Hope all is well in your corner of the UK. Its getting quite warm here nowadays. But I pretty much stay inside as the humidity makes me miserable. Stay safe.
We all love spider mail😂😂 and yes its very warm here too 👍
Sorry about the egg sac Dave,on a good note she is stunning my favourite genus.i have a grown on sling doing very well and always on display.thanks for sharing such a beautiful spider.
What a beauty ! They are definitely underrated. Along with reduncus, they are often passed over for irminia, cambridgei and all those newer ones in the hobby.
Too bad that the sac wasn't apparently viable, but as you said, breeding attempts aren't always successful. Better luck next time.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
We will just try again my friend 👍
I literally hate spiders. Massive phobia. Will have my wife get rid of anything we have in the house, large or small (Brit living in Tennessee) I have been addicted to your videos for some insane reason!
I was like you 2 years ago then i decoded to get my first T
Now half of my room is full and i can even handle them:)
Hopefully you will see there is nothing to fear and learn to appreciate them for their beauty ❤️👍
It is amazing how exposure to your fears helps
Bad luck but better luck next time! She was very beautiful and fluffy tarantula, her toes looking like brown velvet and under them those colors looking like satin! I think she behaved very well when you took her eggsack away. A mum will always protect her children. No eggs with legs this time. I think your calm videos and they way you hadle the spiders / tarantulas are great! You can make those with spider 🕷 phobia feel at ease watching and that's a great achievement 👏! Camera Lady you did a nice job too! Thank you, hugs Susanne 🤗 💖!
Thanks Susanne your very kind ❤️👍
@@daveslittlebeasties 👋❤
First love the videos I watch them all❤️👍
Theres always a race to be first to comment well done ❤️👍
Congratulations Dave,another Wonderfull vídeo 👏😍
Hi Dave, great video great T and a great enclosure. Keep on going mate, next time you will get a good sac from her! Best regards from Germany!
Thanks buddy just waiting on her moulting and we will try again 👍
beautiful girl. Sorry about your eggs though. Better luck next time.
She is gorgeous! She is now at the top of my need list! Great Video
Good choice!
You were very gentle with her. She calmed down quite a bit.
If at first you don’t succeed try, try and try again ! She is beautiful !
Another great video I really appreciate you and Camera Lady Dave. The 2 of u have helped me get over my fear of spiders. Thanks for educating us about them it really helps me to understand them. I'm thinking about getting one now so thanks for all the great info on spiders you guys are great ❤👍😀
Wow im really proud that you have come this far watching our videos and let us know what you end up considering getting ❤️👍
Great as always! Hey Dave, could you make some other type of video including the following:
1) what was your first tarantula and how did you get it
2) what are your favorite tarantulas, lets say top 5 and why.
3) according to you, top 5 prettiest tarantulas that don't have blue color
4) top 5 blue tarantulas
5) which are from your collection the most defensive ones
6) which are the most well behaved
7) do you prefer arboreal or fossorial species and why
8) if you would have to pick to keep only one species what would it be
That would be enough for now, I would really like to know your opinions. Thanks! Cheers!
I will have to have a think on some of those ideas ❤️👍
Great video guys! You sure have that cage set-up process down to a science! Beautiful spider!! Sorry about the egg sack :(
From my old high school Latin, I know that the species name “pulcher” means pretty or beautiful. Fits! I like to imagine an exploring biologist’s delight at finding the first one known to Western science. (By the way, “pulchripes” means pretty foot/leg, another fitting species name.)
The moss is such a great visual and functional enhancement to your enclosures.
Great video and a beautiful spider
Ah darn it! She is beautiful! At least we got to see her and give her a new home. Your plant reminds me of a nerve plant or a Fittonia argyroneura. I have also seen them in pink. Makes for a lovely addition.
Beautiful girl! Definitely on my Tarantula bucket list. My P. irminia is one of my favorites. I would definitely like to add more species from this genus to my collection.
i got 2 P pulcher, just beautiful spiders :) they will be a breeding project too
You should have shown us what to look for under the microscope when looking for signs of life in some.of the egg ...I finding this so fascinating.
'what a lovely display spider they make' ....as spider proceeds to web up glass xD
😂😂😂😂 Once settled in she will be out a fair bit 👍
Well, Dave, it wasn't Panama Blonde, but a bloke in Melbourne sold me some Panama Red, once.
Which was nice.
Shes beautiful deffo one of my favourites in your collection 😍
Dave you and your wife are awesome!! I recommended your channel to a science teacher. I also gave your channel to her son and he looked you up and seen all your spiders and he got super excited 😜. It was cute seeing the look on his face. Thanks Mr & Mrs Dave!!!!
Thats awsome thank you ❤️❤️👍
What a good mom! And yes, so pretty! Now I want one!
I’m sorry you didn’t get any slings this time. She really is beautiful though. Better luck next time. Thanks for another informative video!!
I look at your videos from Mexico from Jalisco friend and your specimens are very beautiful, it is a very appropriate way in how you make terrariums for your tarantulas, greetings friend
Welcome my friend and thank you for your kind comments, I think your our first subscriber from Mexico thats just amazing thank you ❤️👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Do not thank my friend, it is a pleasure to watch your great videos, and amazed at being the first Mexican, a great greeting friend.
Jip jou are the best off handling the spider
Poor Momma 😔 but she is beautiful
Awwww 😔 that poor fella became dinner without leaving babies... as you say it's the way it goes sometimes, beautiful girly 🥰🥰🥰 thank you Mr and Mrs Dave ❤️
I have a p. Pulcher and i think they are lovely. You do you're tanks decor wicked i love watching you because you are very educational thank you 😊
Thanks my friend ❤️👍
You should be a professor , everything is always well said & explained an they close ups are always perfect 👍
Wow, thanks❤️👍
You have the best enclosures
❤️👍Thank you
Wonderful spider. Sad that the eggs didn't produce. Hopefully next time will go better.
She's so FLUFFY!
Beautiful enclosure ! As always ! So sad about the egg sack!🙁😥
a very pretty spider
It's cool to see her retractable claws too! Very awesome! Although I always feel bad seeing their babies taken away.
great video ! i agree they are underrated . they are so pretty and i have two slings
That's the way the cookie crembles!!!
She is very protective.
love the way u do ur enclosures ^_^
This video teases me to get a P.pulcher. I have (among others) P.irminia and 2x P.cambridgei and they are all amazing. I do love my pokies but Psalmopoeus are easier to spot since they do not take off with the slightest light (also depends on the individual pokie, one of my P.vittata does not mind).
I’m just about to rehouse my adult female I got last week and this has really help!
She wasn't for giving you that egg sack... You trying to take it, and she was defending. Shame they were no good. Anyway cool video Dave.
Great video, Dave. Spider King Dave rules. How does your family feel about Dave's Little Beasties? Since you are a spider king, who is your spider queen?
😂😂😂My wife enjoys the channel as much as me 😂😂👍
You really make lovely habitats for them. I' d bet you could make a penny ( or should I say pence) designing and selling terrariums. I` m waiting here to see today's s lovely lady. Wow! Saw those fangs! She was really hugging that egg sack. Beautiful though. Such earthy colors, p.s. you are a master of the brush.
Thank you so much ❤️
P pulcher is just so beautiful 😍
I got the victori and the irminia pulcher is definitely my next gotta love those psalmopeuas and I hear the cambridgei venom helps with strokes in some way which is great
This wonderful spider was the first type I bred, I had about 110 slings, I was nervous and sooooo proud. Fantastic experience, It's nearly 10 years ago
Thats amazing ❤️👍
Such a pretty girl
Damn that's too bad, getting slugs is always the worst, at least she still looks healthy.
The plant is a Fittonia. They can be a fussy houseplant. I've noticed you tend to furnish your enclosures with plants that are commonly experienced to be more difficult to keep alive, particularly Calatheas. I think the humidity of the bioactive enclosure must help. Do you find it easy to maintain those plants in the enclosures on a long term basis?
Another great video, as usual. A lovely healthy spider. Thanks for the interesting content, Dave.
They appear to be ok generally
Dave, Spiders aside , who do you follow in the Football ??????
Great looking Spider !!!
NONE I cant stand football 😂😂😂👍
Awesome video mate , definitely a very beautiful spider 🕷️
It really is!
@@daveslittlebeasties I'm not Kean on spiders but I do love watching the content . Hope to see u soon on my channel
I tried t get me mom to watch the spiders appreciate their color but she got sick and left lol
Keep trying 😂❤️👍
What a pretty girl - a shame the eggsack wasn't good but I'm sure next time will be a success! ❤ Do you have the P. reduncus as well? If so, I'd love to see it in a video 😊
No but been thinking of getting one 👍
I love P Pulcher along with P Victori. I have one Pulcher Sling and they look like wearing a socks hehe.
Informative 👍
Thanks 🙂
Beautiful
Well I think you properly pissed her off. lol
Only briefly 👍
Hi Dave great video as always do you use any particular brand of potting compost or the name of the place you buy it please
Hi Dave! LOVE your channel! I don't have any spiders but I have a question for you. Regarding the males...I hate to see them fall victim to the females but I understand that is just how it goes. If you get a male is it cruel to just keep them without mating them? Is that their only purpose? Like are they driven to mate and to prevent that isn't doing them any favours? Do they get stressed out of they don't mate? Just curious..will not be getting one as I have cats and live in a 1 bedroom apartment that I like to keep cool always. I do appreciate the warnings you give about the fellows not making it as I don't want to see that but will still thumbs up. Thanks so much
Welcome to our channel and yes I believe if the males are left unmated then this will stress them out, once they mature then their sole purpose in life is to reproduce as many times as possible before they die .
That's unfortunate. Did you check under the microscope? Were they any good?
She is gorgeous ❤
All infertile my friend 😭
@@daveslittlebeasties that's really unfortunate, but like you said it was kind of expected. Better luck for next time xxx
Great video as usual Dave!
Sucks that the egg sac was a bad one ☹️!
But look on the bright side: we’ve had lots of successful eggsacs on the channel!
Not really related to the video but do you speak another language?
I myself speak French!
“Bonjour Dave! Comment ça va? Excellent vidéo aujourd’hui!”
I said: Hi Dave! How’s it going? Great video today!
Thats cool mate I do not speak any other language 😭
@@daveslittlebeasties That’s alright Dave!
I’m also pretty good at French! I’m better at English though
With the beastie mix do you add your own isopods in when you've brought it home from the woods?
Sometimes I add extra but it full of them anyway 👍
Stunning spider, never had one myself, but I think that might change lol. Did you happen to find any good eggs under the microscope? (I had a microscope with a camera setup when I worked in laboratory medicine, might make for a cool video if you can snag one)
All infertile im afraid 😭
'Go for the cloth, it's nice and "soth".'
For an easier way to remember it.
Any update on whether any of the eggs were viable?
Sadly all infertile 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties sorry to hear that
Love all your videos. Except I’m always nervous about the enclosures being set on the corner of the table. Like I hope he doesn’t slip or hit that off there.
