You should definitely get a baritone. They sound beautiful.
A 30 inch scale ? That would be more like a Bass Guitar. Overall length morelike. 🙄 Yes, I do have one it's a rather nice Kala and I fitted Worth Browns for a really mellow sound.

That's awesome. I also love to play the baritone. It's especially easy cross-over for guitar players. The baritone sound accompanies "standard" ukes so well in a uke ensemble.
Very informative video. Recently started on baritone after years of concert uke. Absolutely loving it. I’m now determined to acquire a double uke with it being a combo baritone/concert or tenor uke.
I've seen a double uke combo once before and it looks like the ultimate uke. If you do get one, please post a video of it. Well, I'm glad you found this video helpful. I think a lot of uke players unnecessarily cause themselves confusion about the baritone. It's a lot simpler and is a companion to the standard uke.

the Baritone is great especially if you already can play guitar. It makes an easier transition to ukes.

You'll love it. It's not just a symptom of UAS. The baritone has a place all its own with a rich tone and some songs are better suited for the baritone than the standard uke.
Ahh cool thanks question if I had a song book for non baritone ukes I can just make the notes 5 notes deeper and can play it on the baritone?
Chords for a song are the same, even for baritone, but the chord shapes you make to play those same chords will be different. In fact, if you take the chord shapes of a standard tuned uke 5 notes deeper, that will show you the shape you need for the baritone. For example, "C major" on a standard uke is 0003, so count down from "C" 5 whole notes, C-B-A-G-F. The shape for "F major" is 2010. So that SHAPE is the chord shape for "C major" on the baritone.

I think of the Baritone as it’s a small guitar missing 2 strings. I get confused with the 5 frets down method. It’s easier for me to keep it as Ukulele cords vs guitar cords. But then I’m a 79 yr young newbie.
