- Assassin's Creed Black Flag is very relevant right now with the release of Skull and Bones, and the rumor of it getting a remake in the future. All this talk about Black Flag made me want to get back on the game and just explore, do some side content, and just enjoy life as a pirate assassin...

Edward's charisma and ego plays so well into the power fantasy that era of Assassin's Creed was like. He was almost an embodiment of the player base at the time and explored an "Assassin" playing by his own rules.
No it doesn't. If it did he would lose the ego after all his friends die. But after all that he says he wants to be the one to ruin Torres's day. He learns nothing. He's the worst protagonist in the series because of that

That’s basically AC Unity. Arno never tries to search for his father’s killer. He suggests to the order that they should go after De La Serre’s killer, but it wasn’t quite the same as a revenge plot

I think there should be an assassin of a male or female, someone who wants to be an assassin so bad, but after seeing the consequences of what happened after joining the assassins, the mc wanted to leave that life (his friends and family died). After leaving, he thought he was free but finds himself being hunted, he has no choice but to be an assassin (without joining the brotherhood) and figure out everything on there own, idk its a stupid idea

Black Flag is such a good game. I recently rewatched the Pirates of The Caribbean movies and have been itching to play Black Flag, as soon as I get the chance😄
If you're on pc try out some of the Pirates of The Caribbean mods. Some of them are pretty good.

Black Flag has always been my favorite. I have to agree sailing the seas and hearing the crew singing shanties is hella therapeutic. Then again, when I got AC4 for Christmas I was in an impasse in my life. I went through a breakup and dropped out of my classes cause I wanted to change career paths.
I joke how I bummed around the Caribbean to clear my head and just Black Flag does hold its mantle for best-selling AC game. It holds a special place in my heart as I had the same struggles Edward had.

Black flag has better cloth physics than Valhalla and that shit came out in 2020 and black flag in 2013 that’s crazy 😂

I used to love to sneak board ships, skip the naval combat and way less enemies to kill on a ship. I still love the naval combat tho
I loved doing that in Odyssey. It was more of a challenge doing it without your crewmates.

i get this game like at 100% sync one time back in 9 years, and know im doing it again, is such a refreshing experience all over again, i remember seing this game amazingly good, and it still does, it age like fine wine
Two very simple things I personally want from Ubusoft in this new Assassins Creed 4 remake:
1. Change the fabric of Edward's hood to match the cinematic trailers. The hood is sleek and white in the trailers, but in the game it's so ugly and damn near brown.
2. Add a hood toggle on or off Option. It is absolutely ridiculous how little Edward actually has his hood on in the game. In the trailers he is shown boarding ships with his Assassins hood on, yet your hood is always forced off in those segments. It was always so frustrating to me.
The explanation for number 1 is that it was from an assassin he killed, who was also in the water with him, and Edward being a pirate, I don't think he washed it even once

Yeah I'm aware of the explanation. They should have just given his hood a cleaner sleeker look.

That's certainly one interpretation. But I think they could have shown those themes while still making the hood better looking

I'm confused why black flag needs a remake. it looks next gen still. Fix the LOD issues that were optimized for HDD consoles, pump up some settings, import some PBR textures, and call it a day.

It would be interesting to see more time in Havana as a Templar, have Edward explore more of the values they hold. Maybe have Edward slip up once or twice so when he gets caught at the spot where the sage was freed it makes more sense for the templars to know he isn’t Duncan.
The first outfit you had is my favorite one. It has the skull and bones on the back which is perfect for a pirate.
They really nailed it with the music and atmosphere, not to mention the game looks gorgeous even to this day and with no particularly unique art style either.
Because the keys are found on actual templars, it would be weird if the missions unlocked some kind of assassin armor. It’s tough because I think it would be cool to see some better perks on the outfits in black flag, but I also don’t want the game to focus on stats and become an RPG
Ezio's family death was a great moment(writing wise, not for Ezio) but for me Blackbeard's death just hit harder specially at the epilogue seeing the place which was so filled with people, pretty empty and remembering your fallen friends just hits so hard.
black flag was my favorite of the few creed games i played through. And it seems the master assassin ass blaster back blasting master asses as an assassin.
I love black flag and rogue for the sole reason of getting to sail a ship while listening to your crew singing a shanty. I even skip clicking on the teleport button so i can just enjoy the journey with my bros

i just finished black flag again for the 3rd time (and i beat all the legendary ships finally) and man it's still amazing to play
ACBF would honestly be a good framework to build a One Piece game off of. Sailing your own ship around the world, raiding other ships and places. Just add a faction system to chose being a Pirate, Bounty Hunter, or Marine. Devil Fruit and Haki would be the most difficult to implement.

MasterAssassin , A tip agains't La dama negra ( The Legendary Ship You Fought ) , that ship have weakness in behind just how you did , but you can Just spam tackle the ship with full speed and some cannons to help , in 5 or 6 tackles with full upgraded jackdaw you defeat La dama negra , btw I love your videos

I just bought this again during the sale. I got it direct from Ubi, so I can skip the whole secondary platform launcher and jazz. This is one of my favorite games, despite the freaking horrifyingly bad tailing missions. I have hundreds of hours just roaming around getting into sea battles, without ever touching land. I was going to start playing today, so perfect timing with the video. Got a bunch of old save games, but I'm going to do a fresh run for nostalgia.
I disable most of the HUD in all games now too, even the crosshair, everything that isn't sustancial to finish the game i disable 😂

Pro tip when in naval combat. dont aim when using the heavy shoot. line up the canons to the ship and press fire not aim.
Towards the end of the video, When you were at that fort area, I was hoping you were going to explore the prison, Also do you reckon you could do a playthrough of the game with the enhanced combat mod but keep up the good work
I am Lally and i think wearing assassin robes will make u the attraction in the area so it makes sense for the mc to wear normal clothes and wear a mask during missions

Black Flag was my first AC game and probably my favorite until I beat ac2 but I wanna share my ideas for the remake and these are my opinion so it’s ok if you disagree
-new cities like Santiago De Cuba or Trinidad Cuba
-crouch button
-side stories like the Templar hunts
-new enemy types
-chain kill revamp (this is a weird one but I feel like it should be more strict and timing focused)
-fewer tailing missions in favor for more unique missions
-a better camera angle for combat (always found it annoying to move around in black flag)
Should be able to crouch and sneak without needing bushes, in a remake
AC game is a king of nostalgia. Imagine 5-10 year from now, some shjtty Viking game come out and people look back at Valhalla and say " This game actually quite good" 😂

Black Flag is what got me into AC, so I'm a little apprehensive at a remake. Hopefully, they just build upon what's already there rather than completely redo everything.

I am replaying again for the first time since it came out. I also can't wait for the remaster just cause I can't leave off where I was on the PS5 you have to restart every time I shut down. Seems like an easy fix with an update.

You kinda already can, but only for one or two missions at the end of a long-ass stealth section. So many games would benefit from having the ability to select vehicles (Ever played Bomber Crew?) that it seems like it should be in every somewhat vehicle-based game.
This is gonna be a hot af take but hear me out. I think AC syndicate should get a reboot. Let us play as Jacob and Evie in 2 seperate story lines. Let us see Jacob and Evie become master assasin before the events on syndicate. Let us wear the hood all the time, give us different gadgets for each character. Give us a trilogy were in the first game Evie and Jacob go seperate ways because they have different views on the brotherhood. And eventually meet again in a fiture game
I don't agree with all of this but I do agree that Syndicate needs a remake. It should have been the darkest game in the series with most of the open world looking bleak and horrible due to the Industrial Revolution.

Black Flag is SO good...I'm going back through the games a bit, starting with AC2 (never fully completed the full Ezio Trilogy) and put most of my time in Black Flag, 3, and Odyssey...needing to rectify that
If you haven't, I heavily recommend Origins. Bayek is one of the best protagonists easily and his story is great. Also has the best open world in the series to this day.
This game and Pirates of the Caribbean movies make me so sad that I was born in this century

I wish they would have kept Black Flags parkour for future games. I personally liked it. AC Unity may have had the best looking and flashy parkour, but to me it was very slow and sluggish.

Does anyone have this problem on Black Flag PC where the legacy outfits are gone? I used to have Altair and Ezio’s outfits but one day when I logged on they were just gone completely. Ive also never had Connors outfit for some reason even though I’ve played nearly every AC on my PC with Ubisoft Connect.
