- It's been a while since I've made one of these videos and we're back for Assassin's Creed Black Flag! Let's see how far I can make it into the game without being spotted...

Actually in my opinion the trailers make perfect sense, many pirates were horrible people but many more were actually decent people looking for a decent fortune, and adventure. or were forced into pirating. But most pirates in general were often demonized weather they were actually bad or not. And the trailers we got are actually cannon to the in-game universe as well. So it makes perfect sense that obstirgo would mislead their user's with the marketing. I think it makes the impact of Edwards story hit just a bit more with that knowledge.
Also it makes total sense that Blackbeard would embellish in his telling of Edward's story
"...who's just posing on his ship. ...and if I had a rifle you'd be dead" got me wheezing.
My man Duncan just stands there and looks dead in the eye of Edward after backstabbing his captain. Later this fool tries to bargain with the pirate, then attempts to shoot him with a wet pistol. Mind you, later he manages to shoot Kenway with the other one after jumping into WATER. Dude crafted a makeshift waterproof setting spray on the way. Shortly after he still outruns Edward despite assuming his side got half pierced by a stray plank when the ship blew up. Lastly, instead of leaping down and continouing stealthily he stops to make a pathetic last stand.
Bro at least could have gotten a captain's moveset.
Trying to tackle that fort from the inside was a suicide mission, I’m actually impressed you made it that far. I always scale the walls starting from the left side of the fort.

8:20 a little tip for situations like these you don't actually have to run out of the bush just hold the run button and your character will stand up until you let go after which he will go back in the bushes which is very useful for luring guards that you cant whistle at over as far as i know this strat only works for black flag and rogue as in ac3 you cant go into the bushes while an enemy is currently detecting you

When luring over enemies whilst in bushes, an easy way to do so is a mechanic in black flag where you can pop your head out of the bushes so the enemies can see you.
Ooof, I definitely would have gone the other way to get into that fort since it bypasses all the guards on the ground floor. Still a very difficult mission though, there are just so many guards up top.
hey man it's really awesome to see how diverse your content is taking into consideration how "limited" AC games can be. been a sub for years and you stille keep at it, amazing. Cant wait for what the future holds for your channel, red can't come soon enough
3:31 this is what I hope they do better in the remake. Edward was supposed to be enigmatic and vague but in the final game his ambitions and goals are made very clear from the jump.
Also Duncan needs a more prominent role and more screen time. Edward does some crazy feats to just have been a privateer for 3 years. I think Duncan should be a passenger on Edward’s ship in the beginning and that’s where he’s informally trained as an Assassin but initially declines. Similar to Eivor and Ezio. Duncan bleeds out on the shore (as originally intended) and then Edward poses as him.
4:54 his gun isn’t working because the gunpowder in the barrel got wet so it won’t ignite, meaning the other pistol on his belt also has wet powder.
The “lore” of why he can use that one later is he probably replaced the wet gunpowder with dry powder, allowing the gun to shoot. The real question is where did he get the dry gunpowder

Fisrt of all congratulations for the amazing content, When I was woking at a fast food restaurant if it wasn't for your videos I would have died of boredom, I was always looking forward to my lunch break where I could eat and watch your videos. This series was my favourite back then and still is the best assassin's creed content on youtube. I really love this type of content where you voice-over your gameplay, also your jokes are next level and super entertaining. I would really like if you tried some of this videos again, maybe even trying to complete one assassin's creed game of your choice to the end without being spotted, that way you could try more times and even come up with a strategy, altough I do know this types of videos are very time consuming. Anyways I really like your channel, keep up the great work
Ok we seriously need a full 100% playthrough (no challenges just a straight up playthrough) of this amazing game

You can just hold the sprint button without moving to stand up in tall grass to make luring the enemies less risky since you can just release the button to become hidden again. And you can actually walk right past the 2 guards into the restricted area if you have the dancers with you.

I was just replaying the whole series, YES 100% sync included and I just got to black flag and it was both painful and fun

8:20 you can also just hold R2 (or whatever the equivalent of that is) to make Edward stand up in bushes, I do thiss all the time to fill the meter.
Great series of videos, btw in a bush, you can attract guards visually by just pressing the right trigger on the controller and release It when the yellow dot flickers
Honestly that castle is crazy hard for stealth at the beginning of black flag. It’s ok to lose to that. It’s way too crowded for a beginning. And I love it.

14:23 I can honestly tell you that this is nothing compared to the Sequence where you are meant to assassinate “Torrés” without being spotted took me a month to come back to that level and finally complete the side objective to remain undetected. Granted the Lvl takes place in the same area but also added to it is the fact •that the entire city of Havana is placed as a restricted zone. •while tailing multiple men, at the same time not getting caught by snipers. The security management is upgraded so that the NPC’s are twice the amount of danger.
This mission was insanely hard to do full stealth.

you could have used right side of the fort to parkor your way up i leads directly to the top room and no guards spot you. i did it first try

It’s funny bc I’ve always played ac while trying not to get spotted I normally do fort and take all the enemies out with stealth which I know takes a while but it’s satisfying nonetheless

Nuclear Take:
AC4 tailing missions are great. Fight me in a parking lot about it. Especially the ones early in the game, they allow you to be immersed in the actual world of the game, like the story doesn't stop between missions. I hate when you and another character are going the same place in a cutscene, then after the cutscene ends you run through free roam alone to the next quest marker, only for them to show up in the next cutscene like they walked there with you when they were nowhere in sight the whole way. Yeah it's slower on subsequent playthroughs, but I'm not the type of person to skip cutscenes and dialogue or play RPGs while doing something else, so the tailing mission just feels like a cutscene that I actually get to be a part of as opposed to simply watching it. I'd much rather a short tailing mission with exposition along the way, to full speed sprinting across the city in free roam from one cutscene to the next. I don't feel nearly as immersed watching my character walk through the city talking to people in a cutscene than being able to do it myself. But I primarily play games for immersion, so that's probably just me. I like to take my time.
the problem isn’t that the tailing missions aren’t well designed(many are very well designed) the problem is that there’s far too many of them, and many of them make you question why they need to be tailing missions specifically. tailing missions are fine in moderation, but black flag has way too many of them
also a lot of the tailing missions overstay their welcome by being far too long
Plot twist Duncan stole the assassin outfit right before he met Edward because it looked bad ass.

7:51 for this you can just stand until the gaurd opposite you has their neter filled up halfway, then wait until they walk to you

@MasterAssassin fro mission where you're recovering the maps and glass cube you don't have to hire the dancers till the eavesdropping section of the mission pickpocketing the key and lastly to stay undetecto you just have to walk around the outside of the buildings and after taking the all you have to do is swim to the side of fort lockup, pull one two guards off and jump into the stack of Leaves and then to the lockup and back to stede bonnet

This is why you enter from the left wall scaling it and killing 1 guard bc your able to run past the others going into the room

5:40 that's not even the worst performance he can give. If you run in fast enough you can just running assassinate him before the "in combat" stances happen making it impossible.
at least in the xbox 360 version, i didn't manage to pull it off on my latest playthrough on PS4.

Master, i would love if you make a video talking about the manual jump mod that they made for mirage, Ahmedanubis the guy that posted about the side-ejects on reddit also made a post for tha manual jump, he made 3 posts in the last 3 months to promote the mod and is trying to get Bordeaux attetion.
I dont know if they saw the post, but if you make a video talking about it and showcasing the mod(theres is vídeos on UA-cam)is very possible that we might get this as an official update on the game, and even if they ignore or dont add anything, it still is a really good addition to the game that people that liked mirage need to see.

I didn't even know you could do this fort that way. I always used that parkour course on the left of it. That route is much safer with many opportunities to kill guards in cover.

when getting into the side of the castle, you don't need to go to the courtyard, just continue in the direction of the soldier you knocked out after the brute and you will find a window, then climb to the roof with no problems

I hate to break it to u, but its a skill issue, if the guards r out of whistling range, just pull the trigger on ur controller and make edward stand until the guards detection meter starts flashing yellow halfway, then let go of the trigger and let edward crouch in the bush again, then when the guard walks over to ur bush, assisinate him, it baffles my mind how many utubers don’t know about this tactic
I share your disappointment with Trailer Edward vs. Game Edward. The trailer made Edward out to be this cool, suave, professional, mysterious, elite Assassin, like Ezio if he was a pirate. Instead, Edward was actually a greedy, unlikeable asshole.
