haha, I tried that my first play through but I didn't have leg cyberware, and sadly I somehow got stuck on the edge of the hole in the wall so I didn't realize you could get back to takemura
Bro i saved this mf takemura too but then because I destroy the arasaka alone in don't fear the reaper, in the credits Holocall he tells me to go to hell, shit next time I'mma let him die
I knew Takamura was alive but I didn’t see an optional mission so I kinda missed. But I have another load data and I’ll save Takamura but pass the offer from Arasake and do the Don’t Fear the Reaper or the Aldecaldos mission
I'll say armor can be pretty confusing because the tooltips in game are very unhelpful. It scales with your level, but I can say that 1600 armor at level 60 is 60% damage reduction and 900 Armor at level 48 is reducing damage by 50%. The damage enemies do also depends on how much they actually hit you as well as mitigation. Mitigation can basically make enemies miss, so it's very helpful. Apart from cyberware mitigation (neofiber) I highly recommend the pyromania perk in the tech tree (pairs with projectile launch well) or the cool tree mitigation perks. On very hard, even the tankiest of builds can only tank for so long. Chrome compressor is basically required for really robust builds, but I also think it's a very fun way to play. I run Chitin/Painducer/Pain editor + Rara Avis/Epimorphic skeleton/Universal booster for my tankiest build
Yeah, though I will say he repeatedly points to the Arasaka corporation and family as the only things he values, above even his own life. So I think it makes some sense that he's so angry. He's definitely as committed to his beliefs and ideals as someone like Johnny, even if they are opposites.
I didn't know Johnny said anything because I just jumped back up the hole V fell in 💀
One of my buddies did exactly that haha

Same lol, I just double jumped and landed right next to Takemura
But then the Saka elites get to go home and see their families....

Yeah he isn't thrilled that Hanako dies, but that's on her for siding with the literal devil idk what to tell you

Definitely try Don't Fear the Reaper! Best Mission in the game!
Didn't know you could actually save him. Well, shit.
They certainly don't tell you. There's always another playthrough...

@@spoobtubegames thank you for this nice explaination.
Yet he still hates you at the end of the game. Really stupid writing on that part.
