The "Goth is White" hoodie made me gag. I'm not so much in the scene now, but back in the day that kind of thing would have gotten your ass kicked. One thing that aligned the goths and the punks was fighting against racism in our respective communities. There's no reason for that crap to have ended up on the website because it just doesn't align with the views of the communities Dolls Kill was marketing to. So gross, so glad they were never a thing when I was more active within the goth community.

When I first read this comment I thought you were talking about white as in white clothing but then continued to read and was like "There's no way they'd be blatantly racist and gatekeep something like being goth to one race... right??". Got to that point in the video and the "Goth is white" hoodie was in both black and white options and couldn't fucking believe they'd be so openly racist. How can one lady that wanted to create a clothing alternative brand be so hateful and ignorant about issues that go hand in hand with alternative culture and fashion… Shoddy Lynn and her company are sick.
Most frustrating part is that people will not even acknowledge these things and let it flow past their minds because “clothes look good!!!”. Nobody is being held accountable in the fullest nowadays and it’s always for the stupidest and selfish reasons.
