    All the other videos have you tearing apart the knuckle and removing the sway bar. But all you have to do is drop the lower control arm. I guess thats why you’re the king. Very helpful video and very inspirational message at the end, rest in peace to your wise buddy.

    Nice job! I like the part where a guy can do it in steps and not break the bank.

      Exactly, this was the most economical for me and it worked with what was installed. I hope it helps those that are watching 😎🤙🏼 Best wishes

    I’m confused, so you didn’t actually end up having the new coils compressed/assembled. You were able to just use the lower control arm to press it into place, right?

    • @eluv201
      @eluv201  10 місяців тому

      I had it compressed but only because its the heavy duty springs. Reg springs yes, you can use floor jack

    Awesome set up. How heigh did you have to lift the front to level it?

    • @eluv201
      @eluv201  Рік тому

      Could’ve gotten away with 2” but went with 2.5” and love it.

      @@eluv201 Nice… Been interested in these leaf springs to match my OME UCA’s but I have an 08 and apparently the lift is 2.75” for 2nd gen’s. Would have to have a 3.75” front lift to level that, not the can of worms I want to deal with so still on the lookout for the right set. Liked what you said though, “little bites.”

    Are these springs similar to the eibach pro lift kit springs?

      @@Gunmonkey5 not sure brother, but all entry level springs are pretty much the same.

      @@eluv201 they seem like it as mine was longer than OEM just like yours . I have them on my front shocks but was scared to go above the first setting. It gave about 1” of lift, so I want to bump it up because I have the same leaf springs and that lifted the back 2” so I’m probably gonna go either the middle setting or the 4th setting.
