This right here is where the argument gets heated when Trinis says, " we are the mother of all carnivals." It's a production, it's creativity and talent that one generation is passing on to a next. We have schools where kids are taught wire bending, costume decorating, etc. In school, part of the circular is the evolution of our carnival and characters. Our school project is to make costumes and parade in them to earn marks. So my point being its in our blood, so to speak . We welcome all to " the greatest show on earth." I hope you can make it one year 🇹🇹
Deauchets, you guys need to plan for next year 2025 carnival. Your question ,when the person dancing the costume moves , nothing mechanical. Anyway you are invited to Trinidad next year, it's a must-see, one in a lifetime, you will never regret. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 🇯🇲 🇧🇧 🇬🇩 🇹🇹 🇬🇾 deauchets Trinidad welcome you to take part ,carnival is much more than what you see on TV, it's a African calture, freedom from slavery.
Each costume has a story that gives you the history behind said costume.there are kings and queens of carnival.Trinidad and Tobago carnival is something that you just need to experience.the majestic beauty is unbelievable.
In answer to your question ,as to how the masquerades move with their costumes, they do it by dancing to the music ,moving from side to side, which helps with the movement. Some of them are assisted with the help of someone along side moving with the masquerader
It is from the rocking. The ‘masquerader’ (that is what he/she is called ) has to dance the costumes. The is research done in order to portray and depict whatever the character is.
Please Do some research on Our Carnival and make a trip to get the Full Understanding of what is really happening looking at a video an trying to explain or figure out Won't do it,We Welcome You
They are Kings and Queens of the Bands , most of them are on wheels ,the reason why they are looking as though they are struggling to move the costumes is the area which this competition is held is very windy at times , that is the Queens Park Savannah
The costumes are very heavy, just the frame to move them are heavy. Usually they aren't motorized but some are. The movements they do is called dancing the costume so it all moves ànd is displayed well. You don't really focus on the person so much as what they're carrying. I've been on that stage before and the wind up there is strong especially so if it's a windy night so besides fighting the weight of the costume they have to fight the wind from moving them. Before this night there are smaller rounds you go through also there is a smaller version of this but for traditional mass held on the street but it's judged and stuff and anyone can enter as long as you register before the day. There is an older video of bts of making them but its a few years old and its from they guy who won that year's king crown hes a well know mass maker and his band is/was popular i think its titled dragon can dance bts im not sure its a small docu.
We need to get the fam to Carnival! lol.. I have no idea how T&T carnival works either, at this point Carnival and Soca are year round events cause each island wants to capitalize on the benefits. So you can go island hopping during the Carnival season.
@@TheDemouchetsREACT lol... Its all about preparation. Some islands do different parts of Carnival really well, like Jouvert in Jamaica is great but the road march, not so much.
Please react to ;TRINIDAD CARNIVAL WITH KES 2024! I FOUND OUT WHAT SAVANNAH GRASS WAS ALL ABOUT >> by BrukOut. This is raw epic coverage of a first timer's experiencing and understanding what TnT carnival is all about. Its a a beautiful experience that would make you feel as though you were there in person.
@patrickescobero7393 WHY IS IT EVERY TIME SOMEONE IS DISCUSSING TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO'S CARNIVAL YOU TROLLS ALWAYS GOT TO SHOW UP WITH SOME FOOLISHNESS? IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO READ THE TITLE THEN GET SOMEONE WHO CAN READ IT FOR YOU. THEY ARE VIEWING TRINBAGO'S CARNIVAL PERIOD! CAN YOU RESPECT? ELSE EXIT STAGE LEFT AND YOU GO LOOK AT THE CARNIVAL YOU MENTIONED.
Brazilian carnival is parades with floats people who wants to participate needs to literally go to school to learn their dance. I'll educate you. Trinidadian carnival is an expression of oneself, its freedom, and it's an opportunity to let go and leave your problems behind. We don't need to have thin model bodies to play a mas. Lastly, we dont parade we let go.. its the biggest street party in the world. So, sit down and don't insult our culture, please 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
About time, been waiting for y'all. Let's get it.👍🏾🇹🇹🇺🇸💯

For this competition it must be controllable by a single person whom, if successful is crown King or Queen of the Band...
You two need to go! Dates 2nd and 3rd of March, 2025.
It’s always so close to our Mardi Gras! We will try our best to make both.
Its not puppets, it people walking on stilts, they are trained as children to walk on stilts
No robotics, its a person who is in the custome
