  • Join me for this 19-minute pranayama breath practice! Stay nice and low to the ground in this session as you learn to develop breathing techniques for stress relief, anxiety relief, over all balance and wellbeing. This Yoga With Adriene practice invites you to get curious, invite in a new consciousness, and slow things down.
    The breath is the baseline.
Experience reuniting with the breath with just a few deep inhales and exhales.
Begin to cultivate a strong relationship with your breath and call upon it in times of stress or fear, to feel more calm and centered, even out strong emotional feelings and aid in better sleep.
When in doubt, return to the breath!
Optional prop: Blanket or beach towel
Let me know how this practice goes for you in the comment section down below!
    Love you. Namaste.

Hello my friends. I hope you can take time to reunite not only with your breath, but with your story, your sense of self, and remember - in order to love and serve - you have to start with your relationship to you. x

    Hi, all.
I am a 66 year old grandmother of 7. I watched Adrienne on the Today Show at the beginnng of the month.
My motivation for accepting the 30 day challenge was more about was Said, than what was done.
As a person who is has a problem with finishing anything, I focused in on Andriennes comments about being intentional, staying focused and then finish. That really spoke to me. So, here I am day 25, sitting in front of my IPad after finishing Day 25. I am feeling stronger and more in tune with my body and mind.
    Thank you so very much!

"it's not about getting it right, it's about exploring." Such a lovely mantra to use both on and off the mat. Helps me to be kinder to myself, to focus on the process/journey instead of the result :) x

I can get these moments from time to time where all of a sudden I start crying during yoga because of the chakras release built-up energy that wasn't able to come out until a pose or breathe cycle. This mantra was the exact moment this happened for me today. So grateful for at-home practices. I am not ashamed to cry in class, but I really can let it all out when at home. Amazing mantra indeed! I do not need to be perfect, but simply explore what is.

I've been having trouble regulating my emotions latetly. Going into this I felt anger and now I feel less angry. The breath really does heal. Today I am proud of myself because even though I'm having trouble regulating, I know this is the work. Healing is not linear and although I may be going through a challenging time right now, I know that the best time to learrn and grow is through those challenges. Thank you Adriene. I believe your videos and breath are saving me too....Namaste.

Breathe day 19: I just had my final exam, and this was a really great way to destress. I will forever be grateful to Adriene for teaching me the power of the breath because it truly helped me get through my exams as I struggle with anxiety and exams tend to make it worse. But having practiced yoga and learned to work on my breath for as long as I have, it has helped me control it a little better or at least helped me know how to calm down. Therapy has helped too 😂

Towards the end I had a lung breakthrough - I started with inhaling and getting my palms around shoulder height and ended with the last 3 inhales being able to get palms up to top of head. I initially found myself struggling a bit with coordinating my arms & breath - my lungs could expand to full capacity & I felt like my chest would burst. But I persevered. A couple of cycles later, I was breathing deeply & easily, and I could feel the stiff & achy muscles in my back relax. Wow. I'm definitely using this technique the next time my anxiety flares up. Thank you, Adriene, for Shift Day 22.

I want to share my experience after doing this practice of reunite with breath.
Past two weeks I was in ICU taking care of covid patients. Returning from there I was unable to get into my daily normal life schedule.
As you(dear Adriene) always says that breath comes first. I search for it and get a very beautiful starting. I am calm now, feeling new normal and more grateful.
