Even as late as Season 16, Stan uses him to look good, and earn money. In Season 14, the boys throw him under the bus when they wrote that book when Butters has nothing to do with it, and are all pisses when Butters becomes famous.

As much as he's toughen up in the newer seasons, he still acts like his actual age and is still the most innocent character.

I actually got grounded for making a stupid face in my school pictures in 6th grade. It wasn't even on purpose but my parents were so pissed and my mom even said "You think it's funny to look stupid in the school pictures we pay for?"

"Fun With Weapons" is probably my favorite episode ever. Butters going to the vet to get the ninja star out of his eye had me in tears. Incredible comedy

Butters being bullied by his grandmother is especially sad as all Grandmothers should be kind and loving towards their grandchildren but instead she bully’s Butters her own grandson.

I feel bad for butters so much no one can understand. He got shot in the eye with a ninja star, got anal probes, got stuck in a basement, awful abuse, etcetera. His parents even called him " it " .. Butters, Kenny, and tweak has been abused and struggled so much. And BADLY. I cant believe the owners had the guts to do this to these sweet children.... But it's just a show of course. But still, I feel completely sick whether I think about these character's
