For anyone wondering what Sagamore distilled boubon is like, in Maryland there are some small producers that use sagamore distillate to great effect. Lost Ark Distilling recently released some single barrels that were all Sagamore distilled bourbon and they were fantastic. Great to hear y'all could start a relationship with them.
I live 30 mins from sagamore and they are awesome. Lost arc is also a md distillery. Super cool to see the business update. Please keep them coming!
Like, totally, like you know.
What a fantastic video, you do such a great job explaining the process. I've only been on board for a few months (Patreon), but I sure am enjoying watching you guys make this dream come true.
Great behind the scenes. Worst day of making your dreams come true is better than any day at a job. Love the transparency
I love you taking us through your journey to bring this community an awesome product and make us feel we are a part of it though your experience. Y’all are top notch and cannot wait to see what’s next.
Super excited for you guys!! I love how open you are being about the whole process, it really sheds a light on the struggle of it all. Keep grinding away at it fellas!!
You are so right about experience - the look AND feel seems so insignificant but can drive so many people to buy your stuff / positive impressions
Man didnt realize till seeing that video how much crap was in the old shop and polebarn. 😂 No wonder the whole place looked so much bigger after they were emptied out.
Good luck guys, long term fan from the 🇬🇧, shame I won't be able get a bottle here, this has been a fascinating journey
So pumped to be able to make it to the Pours in the Park this year!!! Must be exciting to see your plan starting to come together. Wish you guys the best of luck.
Just saw the lens, congratulations on getting approved for the DSP guys! This is only the beginning and I can't wait to watch where you guys take Virtue from here
Congratulations guys! Not sure if you’ve thought about this but make sure wherever you set up shop is lent too difficult for trucks to get in and out off for distribution. Same if you decide to do your own distilling. Have to make sure the trucks can get in there with the tanks needed for that.
Great labels actually make a big difference. I went cheap with some that I used and it made the presentation suffer. Keep up all the great work!
This is super dope guys I will definitely support the business and this is awesome
Keep on keeping on guys. Your doing great. Love these videos and updates. Wish you the very best. What cool journey!!
Love Sagamore. The people who work there are fabulous!
As an extreme casual who only discovered the hobby of whiskey a few years ago…this is pretty cool insight. Can’t wait to buy some of the product!
Awesome! Really enjoy the way your taking us on this journey with you, though are end is much less stressful. Thanks guys, keep it rolling!🥃
Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you guys and for Virtue. Congratulations on getting the DSP approved. Let’s friggen go!!!!!
So pumped for you guys. All of your dreams, turned to goals and into hard work is coming together so nicely. This was a pleasure to watch. Like you said Dan, not many notice the labels and the texture of them. Loved this vid and the information packed into it. Cant wait to see the future of Virtue!!!
Hey man, new subscriber here. Gotta give a shoutout to my local distillery, Black Draft in Martinsburg, WV. Look 'em up. Makers of damn fine bourbon and rye, and other products! Tell Glen that Jeff sent ya.
Thank you for taking us along this journey and giving us a peek behind the curtain! All the best with virtue 🥳🥳🎉🥃
Late to bed, early to rise, work like crazy and advertise. Keep up the hard work! You WILL get there. Count us in on buying your product.
Pretty cool behind the scenes of this process. Good luck!
Love the video’s, I wish I lived closer to you to help out!
Keep grinding boys. We appreciate y'all!
This was very cool to see. Like these videos. Great to see the journey.
LOVE that you got some Cedar Ridge. They do some good stuff here in Iowa and they've got such a distinct flavor. Hope you make it down this way more often.
Good luck boys! Love the passion, stay with it - know what it's like starting a business - but yours is much harder - keep going
Congratulations guys! It's awesome to see you guys continuing to grow! Good luck on the next chapter of getting a new place for sure.
Also, McClintock Distillery in Frederick, MD has their "Matchstick" bourbon which has an interesting spicy flavor. Not for everyone, but it' a nice pour, IMO.
Niagara label, great little western NY company!! Love it, and the journey, hardest working guys on the whiskey tube!
Thanks so much for documenting your process so honestly. It’s inspiring to me and greatly appreciated. I’m hoping to launch a craft distillery in Washington and I feel your growing pains.
Hard work now and ahead. Just keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. It will be rewarding. Cheers.
Thanks for giving us a peak into your whiskey journey. I was looking at investing in whiskey, most were asking for around $2k+ for a barrel at the beginning of aging. Your desire is earnest, keep at your dream and you will succeed.
Liked this video a lot had a nice flow to it all! Can’t wait for a whiskey boss! Super bummed we won’t be able to make to the park again this year but gosh I wish we could have!
Too cool that you guys are doing this. Can't wait until something is available to try. Congrats on pursuing your dream.
So happy for you guys, all the hard work and time you are putting into your dream is inspirational - the payoff is going to be huge🥃🤘
Love these videos. Keep them coming! Can’t wait for the final product!
good luck in the new business journey!
Love this update! 🥃
I thought for sure that Dan would have pushed for the same label stock as Redwood Empire... Congrats on the progress.
Keep grinding guys! Can't wait to see what's in store in the future.
I love all this behind the scenes content and seeing how hard you guys are working to get this off the ground. I'll be first in line for a bottle. Cheers guys 🥃
Can’t wait for the next update. Thanks for this 👊
This is awesome, excited for y’all!
Keep pursuing your passion for Whiskey, God bless you guys! 👍
I was wondering how much more you guys spend than I on Whiskey....Congratulations!!! Looks like it is all coming together. It sure is alot to think about, I didn't hear you mention Insurance on the building containing all the Whiskey, a thing to think about may be fire sprinklers to reduce that bill??? Best of luck and I hope it goes through with as little stress as possible.
Great video and update! Are you guys considering taking on investors to progress the company?
Saw you at a chick-fil-a in Gainsville and wanted to say hi, but then I didn't want to be rude - so this is me saying hi now. 😂
This is super interesting content. Thanks for sharing!
First off, I wish the best to y’all in this endeavor. I’ve been a fan for a while. I’ll be in line to get a bottle of each. That being said, the thumb nail and video don’t look like they have anything to do with each other. I assumed it was a video on how much money y’all spent on bottles for reviews, pour guesses, etc. over the last year.
Love all this congrats guys. Virtue Up!!!
Would be really nice if you included where Pours in the Park happens on the ticket page 😆
Once it becomes available how will I in the backwoods of Mississippi not far removed from Wesson where somebody had a grandma making jelly, be able to purchase Virtue Spirits to both sample and support your efforts?
This is epic! Congratulations!
That's crazy I know someone who knows these guys and he told me about this biulding a month or so ago to see all this stuff coming together is really cool. Wonder if ops will sell this whiskey
Very cool and exciting! Can't wait to drink some Virtue!
Wishing you guys all the best in your business dream
The labels are frikin amazing, guys!
Us Iowans love our CEDAR RIDGE!!!
mix a small batch of wax turquoise and purple to start so you dont have to do either of those and not pay soo much for custom pvc and it will hold the cork
One thing I’ll take away from this video is neon green shoes are back in style 😂
Congratulations Boys…🥃🥃
Was hoping we would get an update soon
Yeeees. Hurry and get your dsp so I can send you your package. Stoked for you goobers
Thanks for showing all my horded shit lol
😂🤣 I know you saw the castle before we cleaned it out.
I really like the behind the scenes content!
Hoping to get some and with moving out of Utah it may actually happen
Can’t wait to try the juice.
BattleToads btw was the sh*t when I was a kid on NES! Played the crap out of that game!
I know this is 5 months behind but in theory could you guys not get a bunch of samples over the year by just using different names and addresses? If they send 6 per person thats a great selection and you get to see if they are selling everyone the same stuff.
For labels, Get a cricut and get the kids working :P
Awesome content
Welcome to the game boys. Make sure youre getting sleep dan.
Wax seal In those colors would be so cool
What about wax on the bottle vs a label cap seal vs tamp seal
Can’t wait to taste the product!!!
Can someone fill me in where the pours in the park event takes place? The website neglects to disclose that
I like those labels 👍
I don’t what labeling you have. I’m buyin’! ❤
Pours in the Park Tickets available now!!! - www.bourbonjunk.com/shop
Dan you only mildly look dead inside while in your car. Get some sleep brother.
Do you have battletoads?
Niagara Label! Nice! Not far from me
I wanted to see how much yall spent on bottles for like yourselves/ videos lol
Just wait for all of the government registrations, fees, inspections, bs and expense from 15 different departments. Which is good actually. Otherwise people could be poisoned.
That much government oversight is a bad thing and hurts creativity
@@821lancevance it probably is a little too intrusive. I just meant I value safety as well. And we have all seen why government regulation is necessary at certain times. I hope these guys do well and make this available to me all the way down here in Florida
Good video
You should just dip the bottles with your own color for the tops.
I just wanna know where I can purchase this from ohio
Welcome to small business 😆😆😆😆
Labels look sick.
Battletoads... STILL one of the most unforgiving games.... fuck that game.
Cheers!

So, how much did you spend last year?
Are you taking investors for virtue? I’d be interested!!
Just be careful. I feel like the economy is on the verge of a crash and that means less people buying Bourbon overall and especially buying less of "off-brand" NPD Brands
Since drinking whiskey is a job/income for you….. can’t you write it off as an expense for your taxes?🤔😁😂👍
And I thought you were going to quantify how much you spent on bottles to support the channel. Not the barrels of distillate 🤷♂️
12k
Start a go fund me and just open a full on distillery
