Had the same issue with the Xbox Game Bar, taking focus from rocket league after couple minutes of playing.
To fix it, launch Xbox game bar, Go to settings (gear near top of screen), click "Edit more preferences in Windows settings", toggle the first switch to Off.

Definitely would love to watch longer videos. The 2-3 games per video thing that most RL UA-camrs do (That I watch, anyways) is nice for a short quick break and a video, but longer ones are my favorite for sure.
It's crazy that all members of NRG, starters, sub, and coach, are all chill and really entertaining

I get that controller "dc" where the mouse cursor shows on screen within the first 5-10 minutes of starting the game up. everytime... It's since last update i think.?.

@@Fred-di9qd I have just stopped q'ing immediately for now. Freeplay until it hits, and then it wont happen again. But same for me, it's nice to know its not my pc thats the problem ;)
Yeah I'm getting the same thing in the first few minutes of starting the game (Never in free play when I warm up, of course). My controller will DC, then when I reconnect it doesn't register. RL will close out and I have to reopen. So annoying

And yess the xbox game bar pops up for me too, and sometimes the game just stops taking inputs from the control so I have to tab Out and tab IN to regain control again.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I've also started encountering that bug where the controls stop working. I have to click on the RL window to reactivate it as the primary. One time I did have the Xbox overlay pop up as well.

For the Xbox Game bar showing up at random moments just type "game bar controller settings" in your windows searching bar then tick off the first case, it won't ever happen again

Ive been having the same pc problem too its like the first 15 minutes of launching im mid game and my controller dcs and the screen darkens with xbox Microsoft tool popping up, any fixes guys?
What?! Yeah mine has been doing that too! The XBox control screen pops up once every time I play. But it’s always in the first 10 minutes of playing so I’m just in free play. Then it doesn’t pop up again. I don’t use XBox anything, I was wondering why it’s doing that as well.
I've been having the exact same problem with my controller disconnecting and sometimes the xbox gaming bar shows up too (i do have an xbox controller but it comes up with a different type of overlay than usual). It's definitely a bug.
For the Xbox gamebar randomly popping up there’s a default setting in your computer that makes it so whenever you hit the ps button/Xbox home button it pops up

DUDE the xbox game bar comes up on my game too and it minimizes the window sometimes. No idea how to fix. I checked all my background processes and disable all windows gaming/xbox ones and it still happens.

My game has been doing the same thing!!! Controller disconnects and cursor pops up. All you have to do is click the mouse once and it fixes it. Game bar has also been popping up randomly. I’m assuming something is opening in the background and taking priority over rocket league which causes the game to run in the “background” but I haven’t been able to figure out what it is yet. Please update us if you are notified of a fix!!

Yeah about the Xbox game bar, it happens to me as well. If you open it by yourself when you turn on the computer, it won’t pop again. At least for me it works
