If a simple employee does not know the law, perhaps he has not received adequate training, but if the supervisor also does not know it, then there is a big problem.
An example of adequate training is the US Post Office, which sent an email to all employees, saying that filming in public areas is allowed (but this did not solve the problem, however)

Gt went to Upson County, Ga Health dept and said they did Good, yet about 7 yrs ago they called the cops on my sister before auditors were ever thought of. She was asking for her daughter's death certificate and filming them & they called the cops to her. Then had cops come to my home telling her not to film inside the health dept then They posted NO Filming or Cellular phones inside the same health dept. Their Policy, rules nor mandates TRUMP our Rights. They are TRULY uneducated or their Tyrants. NO in-between. Cops did their job Here.

Just like the government employees that do not understand the oath they took, for their job, it amazes me how many people, who fall under HIPPA, do not understand the law that governs them. I appreciate how you kept the identity of the citizens private, even when it wasn't required. You are the example to be followed.
