- Did you know 10% of what happens to you is directly related to 90% of how you react? Having the right reactions lead to happiness and the wrong reactions lead to anxiety and worry.
Jesus’s disciples, Peter and Judas, both walked with Jesus and both betrayed Jesus. The outcome of their betrayals couldn’t have been more different - Judas’ life was destroyed while Peter moved on to become the foundational leader of the Church. And it was because each nurtured their mental health differently - Judas sought isolation, while Peter sought community.
When it comes to our own mistakes, it’s vital we get the right perspective on it. Our failures don’t have the final say in our lives, rather, they are formative to our growth. Therefore, as opposed to taking on the identity of being a failure, it’s best to view it as a growth opportunity. Failure is not a person, it’s an event.
For the final talk on “Are You OK?” Pastor Rich gives us 7 Hacks to Happiness, resources that serve as guardrails to prevent downward spirals from failures and troubles in life. The practical hacks include taking walks, kindness, and gratitude. The hacks help us preprogram our reactions and build healthy habits to secure our mental health.
And while good habits can lead to happier lives, Pastor Rich points to the ultimate way to produce sustained happiness, indeed, joy, in our lives. When our view gets clouded by trials, we can find our joy in our savior, Jesus. Choosing to rejoice in the Lord always will allow peace and healing to take over during the storms. God will guard our hearts and minds when troubles come our way.

- be proactive about passion
6) Two minutes meditating/focusing

Hacks to your happiness
1)Three walks a week, can be as short as 5 minutes. Getting your blood flowing, breathing fresh air.
2) 20 minutes each day to reflect on your day. Evaluate objectively what has happened in the day. You can choose to journal at night
3) serve with no expectation to be thanked. Any small act of kindness daily. Can even be a thank you card.
4)turn off your electronics. 7 day social media fast, once month. Unplugging helps you focus on the current moment. being present is priceless.
5) do what you can do with what you do have. Your purpose isn't going to knock in your sleep, you find it while working. Be proactive about your passion.
6)stop, pause, be silent, clear your mind and focus your thoughts on God's promises over your life and what he has done for you.
7) at the end of the week list 5 things you are grateful for.

I have suffered through one of the worst years of my life- suicide, depression, anorexia, divorce... and I couldn’t fathom why it all was happening. What was the purpose. Because end time is coming, i plan my life differently.
1) i adopt my employer company as the church that i am pastoring and i am its undercover pastor by function. I am not pastor by training. I had secular education and a secular job. But i read bible and i train myself thro youtube sermons and books.
2) as undercover pastor, i tell gospel to my colleagues and i send my church sermon links and youtube sermon links to my colleagues.
By now, the whole world know abt the world conspiracy. So i tell my colleagues, they got to accept Jesus as Saviour before its too late.
3) whenever my colleagues are jealous of me, i tell them if hey follow Jesus, they can do greater things than me.
4) i pray in tongues for their salvation
5) whenever i change company, i adopt the new company as my church that i am pastoring. And i have greater freedom to preach to the previous companies because i am no longer their employee. So i have more and more churches. I dont plan sermons, i just send links of the sermons that i like. Easier and instant.
6) my income streams are from loafing activities. Eg. Stock trading and working in jobs that have nothing much to do. Just stand there and idle. But i tithe all.my incomes so that i can continue to loaf my way into greater income and God miraculously show me how to shrink expense so that i have more money to show love to people. Actually at this point, i have no need to work for money, i work because i get colleagues to disciple and churches to plant and money to give mother and tithes to finance other people evangelising projects.
7) my pre loved Christian materials i give to stranger mailboxes so that they know Jesus.
I can only say, God is creative. As you partner with Him, you will admire Him even more.
