Check the carb or the carb gasket on the John deer... They will backfire when you turn them off like that when either the carb vibrates itself loose or the carb gasket is blown out/ripped... Just a little fyi

As an Automotive Engineer I would strongly recommend using Shell Rotella T6 10W-40 engine oil (or equivalent) in the Cummins diesel engine for extended engine bearing life.

Kyle and Wyatt, I would HIGHLY recommend you install a Fluidampr Harmonic Balancer in place of the stock one. It makes a noticeable difference in the RPM spin up as well as countering the engine vibration. It did on my stock 5.9L Cummins and it was a noticeable improvement.
I would love nothing more than seeing a built K-swapped RAM challenging all the "truck stuff" challenges like sled pulls, offroading, towing econ.. hell, even challenge Cleet's boys at their truck competition. SEND'ER!
dont know if i missed it but that #6 crossover tube is a nightmare doing in the truck, and easy fingers on the injector lines, the fasteners sometimes crack and just cause problems. Also check out Banks Power, they make some really solid stuff.
