The respect and safety you have for your equipment, just speaks volumes ... Tim, take care and Happy Monday Birthday ... Would of loved to have a pot call made from that 100 year old tree .. It will make a fine turkey call...
thanks to your wife spilling the beans, Happy Birthday! lol Have that wrist checked out to make sure it's ok. I'm an electrician so when my hands and wrists start hurting, it freaks me out. Gotta have them to work.
Good video! I always have found hackberry here in Oklahoma to be a challenge to cut. It doesn't have a clean breaking point from my experience and I have been pinched numerous times where I wouldn't have with other trees. I totally agree with the tethering to the lift thing as well! Thanks for another great video. You have inspired me in my own channel and hope to get where you are at some point! Thanks again, happy Birthday and hope you get to healing up! Good to have a supportive wife!
How I ended up with my currently problematic 562XP was shopping for 60cc saws because I am a smaller guy. My Echo cs-620pw is awesome but basically sized like a 372xp. I love running my 562xp but currently not sure if it is service ready due to some running issues. Dealer flashed it with new firmware. Wish they would have done that before sending it out. Also, Husky has update the fuel filter and this saw came with the old despite being ordered in and waiting for it to arrive. We will see! I sure love running it because it is SOOOO smooth and I like the Husky air cleaner setups. They stay clean and seal well. I was interested in the 400c but my dealers wanted too much for them. A 362 with 25 in bar was $1000 before tax. If the 400c was closer to the $850 my 562 was, I would have probably gone that route.
wow, you talk about an elephant, this tree is it. one bite at a time though. It did look worlds safer with all of the limbs and weight out of it and that much less to fight limbing on the ground with the huge weight of the trunk resting on it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM!
Happy Birthday Tim you going be 25 this year right great vidg I had a Husqvarna chainsaw same size kick back on me one time just about lost my leg had 163 stiches inside and out it filleted me open good doc said had it not been Sharp I would have lost my leg keep safe out there brother tell Rooks he needs to take you out for your birthday don't turn 25 but once
Thank you for the excellent content Tim. I'm a logger in northwestern Washington state and your videos have taught me how to bore cut. Thank you very much keep up the excellent work and please stay safe 🙏
Maybe 8-10 I'm guessing. I was trying to get it right at the dirt so each time the chain would almost hit, I would start my cut back over and kept on going.
i know cameras dont do size of things any justice but i just dont see the hog of a tree being 10 feet across i can see around easily an by the way happy early birthday coton
@ thank you for your reply. Me and my dad have a newer tree service in the Mccomb area. Our biggest saw is a 500i and we were trying to decide which big saw to get. We have all Stihl at the moment and none are ported but I think after watching your videos I’ll pick up a 592. Love the content man keep it up. Thanks again!
I have noticed your technique of cutting out of the lift is different from most, especially the pole saw. I had thought about getting away from a bucket truck and looking for a lift, but as someone starting out, i have evaluated that my bucket truck offers more safety. The lineman style bucket truck i use has a much stronger boom and basket capacity, that i hope never comes into play, but if a mistake does happen it would be alot more forgiving.
hey guys love yr posts i am an ex faller but still like to watch others goinghard at it by the way have a good no great birthday when it comes around all the best to you
you have some great equipment to be able to handle a job like that. i really like the cordless pole saw you used. got to get one. oh yea. that chipper is a monster!
I can't stand Hackberry trees - their berries make a mess and they drop limbs all year long and the berries falling out of these trees sound like rocks hitting ur house or car roof
Happy Birthday, Tim! The best equipment you’ve got is between your ears. That’s what’s going to keep you out of trouble. 👍

Have you ever tried a ported Echo 4910 for lift work? 10 pounds and the power of many 60cc saws.

Well happy birthday 🎂🎉, how long did the flush cut take you? My stump grinder would definitely take longer.
Maybe 8-10 I'm guessing. I was trying to get it right at the dirt so each time the chain would almost hit, I would start my cut back over and kept on going.
