This is like watching an orchestra and you SIR are the conductor!!!!!!!.....I love watching the way you call your shots and the tree is listening to your instructions 👏👏👌
This guy is truly amazing. Great at everything he touches. Filming for us as he goes. That's a job in of itself. This man is a true man and never stops. Its his type that made/make America great. God bless you my friend. My prayers are God keeps his hand on and all your crew you in all that you do and keeps you and crew safe in your dangerous field of work I'm new to your channel. I've been watching your video's since I found out about your channel earlier this week. I found you through my other favorite American Bobby "bad to the bone Goodson" Yes I subscribed and have thumbed up all that I have watched thus for. Much respect from Atlanta Ga. 7.2.2022💪
I cut a ton of your Live Oak in Waveland and Kiln (aka: "The Kill") after Katrina in 2005-06. Willard at Hardy Outdoor Woodstoves out of Philadelphia, MS donated a stove to heat water for showers for volunteers. First it stove was set up in a destroyed plaza across from Waveland PD. Then, it was moved to a site adjacent to Coastal Hardware in Kiln. Your Live Oak is WAY heavier than our red oak and a bit heavier than our white oak. It's great you were able to bring piece of mind to the homeowner.
you are just amazing how you attack to bring down a tree safely where to trim, how to balance the tree etc. especially from up in the lift. you are right there finding the best way to cut, and finish the job. thanks for the education on how it is done.
I'm an arborist of 35yrs. I do wonder these days how the charges have increased so much due to the expensive equipment used on some jobs. i cant always justify some of the new tech. i still use Prusik, but always climb everything, never use a bucket.
This is a great contrast to a lumberjack video. In that video, the lumberjack views all trees as obstacles and it is his job to chop everything down no matter how much lumber he destroys in the process. He will chop down a tree and watch it break into pieces upon impact. He wastes thousands of dollars worth of wood because "it is just trash" (not clear or nearly clear lumber). In this video, the emphasis is on removing the tree without damage to the property.
I love watching these videos. Thanks for all the free education. I have one concern and that's you not wearing a safety harness while on the man lift. Can you please for not only yourself but for us all. Wear a harness
Thats true! On bridge work you have to be tied off to the lift and wear an approved full body harness. And I have learned the hard way that you need to practice rappeling out of the bucket for when it breaks down one day 40 ft in the air or more.
Hey Tim. At the end where you have the rope to a pulley then to the mini. Dunno if you have thought of this, I have used my remote controlled stump grinder to pull. Works pretty good. Thanks for all the great videos.
I have thought of it but just wasn't sure how powerful the grinder would be. I need to do some testing in a non critical situation. Which grinder do you have?
Excellent work, however if you have an issue on your lift or with the tree whose is going to get you out of a jam. I always have a helper just in case.
Tim...As a father who has worked the Portawrap as the groundman for my son a climber on many large oak removals, you definitely had some weight in those limbs. You definitely need a ground man or two. Job would go three times as fast and less strain on the lift.
Love your commentary, explaining how and why the limb acts like it does. Great video Tim. Question when you sharpen your chain on the battery-powered saw. Is it different than a gas-powered saw.
Mr. Contontop3 I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I would like to know if your 400 is turned up or is it stock? Also which muffler front cover do you have straight shot, or bark box? Thanks.
6.5’ = 6 meters and 5 feet. Or is it 6.5 meters-diameter is approx. 19 meters diameter, or perhaps you meant 6’5” 6 foot 5 inches = 1.90 meter. I know it is confusing 🤷🤷🤷🤷
The heat is hard on some people especially the ones that sit in the air conditioning every day and can you do some more mechanicing videos it has been a long time and I have been wondering how is Jay and Tommy doing

That’s a feeling of relief when you see the kerf opening up evenly across the cut isn’t it Tim??LOL
I love watching this man and I love his accent.
Thank you
Like the way you call your shots and explain the reason. Thanks for the videos

Equipment is cheaper than labor.
Still climbing at 54 .
Bucket or lift . Climbing is wasteful these days.
@Ethan72997 Climbing still has its place. It's just not always the cheapest option anymore.
If you climbed for 35 years you wouldn't even use a prussik
35:10 Intuitive experience.🤔 That's when your skills are seasoned.😀
8:07 if you leave more brush on the end, even in short falls, it can slow the tip acceleration and help the limb fall flat.
OSHA should pay you a visit no harness and fall arrestor
Y'all did a heck of a job, great video Tim, thanks for your service magnolia tree care, god bless, 💪🇺🇲🤙✊👌
Right on
Munter hitch is good for solo it’s good up to 800 lbs I believe
A limb or two then you need clear line lol 😂
Good info...... nice camera angles.... thanks for sharing
Thank you 👍🏻
Thanks for the ride along.
Thank you for watching 👍🏻
Nicely done!!

Looks like a beautiful place to live
Great job.
Skill is on point 💪 Great job Tim

Rayco RG55R does 90% of my work. Have a Vermeer SC752 for the big stumps.
New river wheels on both machines.
Very nice! Made that look easy.
Great info when cutting hinges. Can't tell you how many times I've cut a "bypass" and it all goes FUBAR.
Excellent work, however if you have an issue on your lift or with the tree whose is going to get you out of a jam. I always have a helper just in case.
I like how you know exactly where each limb will land from so high up
Great job thanks for sharing your knowledge blessed
love the "chip" shot at 6:45 ! ha
Thank you, that is a pretty cool clip in the video.

This was a spur of the moment job to work this tree down since the other side fell. The guys who help me some were working their normal jobs.
So much knowledge thank you I’m learning
Used to run littl porta wrap outa the buket. Not on the buket. On limbs worked real nice. But do need one guy undo on ground. Cheers
Great job Tim, You do not play👌💪👍😎
Great job Tim
What lift are you using?
Love your commentary, explaining how and why the limb acts like it does. Great video Tim. Question when you sharpen your chain on the battery-powered saw. Is it different than a gas-powered saw.
You showed me how important a pole saw is almost better than top handle
They are so useful in the tree
Nice cuttin🤙
Stay safe stay healthy
Good video very informative, thanks!
Great video. I just hit subscribe. Thanks for making and sharing the videos.
Thank you 👍🏻
I really enjoyed this one!
Thank you 👍🏻
Mr. Contontop3 I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I would like to know if your 400 is turned up or is it stock? Also which muffler front cover do you have straight shot, or bark box? Thanks.
It’s stock and that’s a bark box.
Thanks, that's one mean little saw you got there.
I'm sure u remember the old 034 sthils that was my first trim saw lol finally it blew up and I got a 021 thank god
Had a few 034’s back in the day.
So what is a fair price fore as a homeowner to pay for this tree to be removed in similar circumstances?
Im guessing somewhere between $1800-$2500?
6k-8k. Another 700-900 for stump grind.
Thank you
real nice job. except i was missing that 550 screamer.
Good show!
Great one man show on that tree.
Thank you 👍🏻
Man I use to have to limb walk across power lines and everything else I would of loved to had a lift haha

Looked Like A Healthy Tree/;-)))

@@cotontop3 I believe you may be a little color blind 🤣
Excellent

👍🏻❤️
i don't understand a word this man is saying
Why do your brothers not ever help you
They couldn’t make it in the heat.
The heat is hard on some people especially the ones that sit in the air conditioning every day and can you do some more mechanicing videos it has been a long time and I have been wondering how is Jay and Tommy doing
Beautiful place to live then..........a dog barking for no reason......get that dog trained or give it to someone who will.
What a shame to remove....people are ignorant and selfish.
Yikes.
Can't afford a groundy??
What's the size of the lift and name I need one to cut the limbs down bad...🪵🪵🪵🪵
