What's the range on a single charge? How many of those charges are there on the route?
Up to 200 km (124 miles) of range on a single charge with the 250 kWh battery pack. Just one overhead charger on this trial.

They should *RUN* the Metroshuttle. Whoever runs this route, order about 15 of these. Some can be branded, some can not.
The route is operated by First Manchester on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester.
Arriva have this bus now, trialing on the Fastrack route B. The charging point is at Greenhithe Station.
When MTG comes to life:
Batterey swapping is lot easier
Very wrong system with the charger on the roof, other manufacturer have much clever equipment.
Your seats suck. very uncomfortable to ride. As for sabotaging the seats? come on, only barbarians do that.
As a demonstrator, this bus is fitted with Volvo's own City bus seating - not common in the UK. When purchasing, the operator can of course specify their preference on seating to match the rest of their bus fleet to aid maintenance.
