Autumn Shades Buxton Derbyshire

Wonderful autumn colours in the Buxton Pavilion Gardens an historic Spa town in High Peak of Derbyshire, England. October 19th, 2024.
The construction of the Crescent in the 1780s and the proliferation of other spa hotels in the town created a need for outdoor exercise areas for the recovering guests. The riverside Serpentine Walks were created at this time, and other amenities were provided on an area of land once belonging to the Old Hall. The public area that would become the Pavilion Gardens had been born.
